So sandwiches are great, and I think they could create a pretty good discussion.
My personal favorite is peanut butter and honey on toasted white bread with milk. It's so clutch. Close second is just straight up PB&J with milk.
I've also been doing a lot of Quizno-ing lately, since there's one attached to my apartment. The 5-meat stack is great. Just add some banana peppers and honey mustard and you're golden.
There's this place here called the Vortex. They have a burger on the menu called the Double Bypass. If I recall correctly, it has two gigantic patties, a fried egg, bacon, onion rings, and all sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches. I want to try it someday, but I'm scared.
Feel free to talk about wraps and stuff, too. As long as it's flanked by bread, it counts for sammich discussion.

Quiznos is the shit. I worked there for a couple of summers.
As far as my own sandwich preferences go, really, just put some roast beef on a bun and I am set to go.

The people who work the Quiznos downstairs look so unhappy And they're pretty pricey, tho, if you're not buying from the everyday value menu or getting a torpedo.

Solstice Cafe just google it or something I couldn't even start to tell you where it is haha. But it's DEFINITELY worth finding. I think it's pretty close to like actual stuff though.

I love sandwiches!!!!!
As a vegetarian my options are of course limited but who gives a smeg I'm always limited and I love it!
Personally I'm a fan of thick cut bread with marmite and philadelphia or really mature cheddar.
As a huge subway fan I pretty much always get the veggie patty with grated cheese (dont like that sliced stuff, ick!) with jalapenos and black olives with barbeque sauce, its a damn good combination, especially on herbs and cheese bread.
Oh and I love making toasties, I've sat around with mates over just cooking toasties for hours, I've got a panini press which is amazing for them, just load up loads of cheese, slap in some marmite and put them in the press for a few minutes, damn they go down well... Thanks bastards for making me want another sandwich!

I just put some leftover fried chicken into my pb&j sandwich on wheat bread. It wasn't bad.

Because of my recent experiments, I actually won't doubt peanut butter and meat.

Peanut butter's traditional pairing when first invented was bacon. No lie.

Oh that's cool. I should try that some time. Someone on ACO recommended PB&J&bacon and I was like wat.
I mean, if you have unsweetened peanut butter, it makes perfect sense, too.

Unsweetened peanut butter is cool. My grandpa's diabetic, so PB&J at my grandparents' house means natural peanut butter. I like it better on apples, personally.
Sandwiches:
I worked at Subway last summer and got to make myself a sub whenever I was hungry. Turns out an Italian BMT on Italian herbs and cheese bread with oil, vinegar, and everything but olives and pickles (because I don't like them -- olives would probably be good, though) is pretty much the best thing ever.
Every time I go home for a weekend, I end up invariably making myself tuna salad sandwiches. SO GOOD. I think I don't eat enough seafood, is what's up.
Of course, my favorite of all time is a plain ol' turkey sub, dry, with veggies. Mmm.

*ahem*
Here is a list of the different types of sandwiches I have eaten and enjoyed.
Peanut Butter and Jelly
Peanut Butter and American Cheese
Peanut Butter and Apple Butter
Peanut Butter, Apple Butter, Jelly, and Fluff (worst and best decision ever. I suggest a glass of milk and a glass of cola - milk for flavor and cola for when the peanut butter and fluff start to strangle you....)
American Cheese, Ham, Lettuce, Turkey, Bologna, Swiss Cheese, Roast Beef, melted Mozzarella, sliced hot dog, and mustard between two toasted and lightly butter buns. (I love this sandwich so much)
The Fatty - 5 pound hamburger, between two buns that I mistook for pies. I think it took like 4-5 slices of cheese to cover it. I ate that, the fries that came with it, and the left over Fatty and fries my friend tried to eat. And two 32 once mountain dews. That was back when I could go about 6-8 plates at any buffet.
Subway's meatball foot long sub with bacon and honey mustard or ranch.
Double Cheeseburger from McDonalds no pickles.
Just about any burger from Wendy's.
Almost all chicken sandwiches.
Macaroni Salad Sandwiches.
Mashed potatoes and brown gravy sandwiches.

Sure, it's a sandwich. It's got bread around it.
