The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2001) - 6.5/10
Overall largely amusing and seems to work pretty well, despite running into some parts taht were rather lame. I'll be reading the book in the near future

I dunno - I thought the movie and the book were about equally good; they both had some really amusing and intriguing parts, and some boring dear-god-where's-the-next-chapter moments. They are incredibly different from each other, though. Then again, the books, like the old BBC series, are based off the original radio drama, and they're all quite different as well. I really like that about HHG - it's the same story, more-or-less, but told a half-dozen different ways!
I don't remember 100%, but I think the most recent movie I've seen was Disney's 101 Dalmatians. It gets an adorable/10 for quality, a commendation(?) for keepin' it real (adults that smoke and drink? IN A MOVIE FOR KIDS?!??), and Cruella De Vil tops the list of best 1960's movie villains.
Lucky's a wuss, though.

wait no last movie you saw was The Princess Bride remember
which gets a 8/10 because Andre the Giant was hilarious and it was overall a really fun movie, but it felt ridiculous at times and I just feel like I would have enjoyed this movie a whole lot more if I was much younger than I am now. the cast was definitely spectacular though

Turn that 8 sideways, because I think you mean it gets infinity/10. (also, the ambigram title on that one DVD case totally blew your mind. Admit it! =P)
...And no, I didn't remember. I guess my memory really does suck as bad as I claim. D:
Lucky's still a wuss, though.

Princess Bride is one of my favorite movies. I know I've watched it at least thirty times. It's hilarious.

Jurassic Park: Lost World
7/10. It was good, but I thought that lines were pretty corny sometimes. I loved the first one, meh the second one, and eh the third one. That is all.

Jurassic Park: Lost World 7/10. It was good, but I thought that lines were pretty corny sometimes. I loved the first one, meh the second one, and eh the third one. That is all. I just read the novel, it's a bit better but has poor pacing and an obsession with extinction that ends in an unreveal. 8/10

Yesterday I watched The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension!. Twice.
I don't remember anything about it.
I think that's supposed to happen?
I give it a Ѫ/10.

Last movie I watched... Thor.
Which I personally feel deserves a 9/10. It has some great stuff worthy of a comic book-based movie... decent story, lots of great action, some hilarious dialogue/moments, badass special effects and costumes, and even an epic twist at the end (I am seriously loving how most of the Marvel comic movies lately have had stuff after the credits).
I liked all the characters, including the geeky girl named Darcy (reminds me a little of a few of my friends... especially the funny bits when she stupidly misprounces the hammer Mjolnir's name). And Loki... fuuuck what a prick. But hey, what good is a comic book movie without a douche-y villain for everyone to hate? (or in the case of some fangirls, find awesome).

Osmosis Jones
IS STILL AMAZING SO IT GETS A 1000000000000000/10
because the animation is amazing and the voice actors are spectacular and the writing is hilarious and DAVID HYDE FUCKING PIERCE VOICES DRIX SO WHY THE FUCK NOT
but don't watch Ozzy & Drix like right after or you'll be sad that the animation isn't as good and David Hyde Pierce no longer voices Drix and they love to reuse stock footage scenes from the movie
I am the biggest geek forever.

i love the princess bride. not perfect anymore, but still awesome and still the source of some of my references.
anyway
Scott Pilgrim vs the World - 6/10 great action sequences, fun idea for a plot, but I agree with Hussie in that it felt rushed, possibly because of having to get through 7 doods. also I generally hate Michael Cera being awkward and still landing the cool indie chick. also also the end was meh with ethnic girl being relatively fine with awkward boy getting with indie chick.

One warning, beware the traps.

choobs have you read the graphic novels?
anyway
Thor
2/10
it was boring because for 3/4 of the movie nobody really did anything. I saw more eating than I did ass-kicking. and everybody talked in LARP accents wtf was up with that

I disagree with your Hangover 2 rating. Biscuit and I saw it together and while we both agree that it was funny, we also agreed that it was the same fucking movie except not as good because you knew to expect all the ridiculousness.
Last movie I saw was Memento. I liked it. I'd give it an 8/10 because the composition was excellent and Guy Pearce has my exact handwriting.

It's funny because I really loved the movie but I don't think I'd want to watch it again. That first viewing is key since you're basically experiencing the movie the same way Leonard is experiencing everything. It's all new information with nothing preceding it.

Biscuit and I saw it together and while we both agree that it was funny, we also agreed that it was the same fucking movie except not as good because you knew to expect all the ridiculousness. That's exactly why its funny, and most would agree. That's why part 3 in works now and its did just as good as the first. Its more the the same shit for a reason. Everyone liked it. Why change something that works if you can keep milking it. I definitely understand your reasoning for not liking, but your reasoning is the exact reason I, and most others, liked it. Valid on both sides.
