It doesn't have to be at the theaters. Mine just happen to be at the theaters though.
I saw Barnyard, and I give it a 10/10!

The Pink Panther - the new one, that is. Brilliant film. ^^ 8/10 for the lack of actual intelligent humour (replaced by senseless falling into rivers and smack bang through walls)

Hot Shots - A comedy spoof of Top Gun 10/10
This film is hilarious, it's slapstick at it's best, you must watch this film. (I advise watching top gun first if you haven't already seen it.)

Tarnation, 1/10. Just godawful. There's a thin, delicate line between postmodern filmmaking and postsubstanceabuse filmmaking, and this movie flossed its teeth with that line, tied it in a knot, and then cut it to shreds with a pair of scissors. It was a batshit insane movie and not in the good way is what I'm saying.
Since diamondprincess has seen Barnyard, and since I have no intention of seeing it myself, I must pose this question to her out of sheer curiousity: How does it be that the protagonist of Barnyard is clearly male, voiced by a male actor and everything, and yet is also clearly a cow complete with udders?

Fantastic Four: Good effects, decent script, but shoddy casting too blinded by starpower to get more than a few decent actors/actresses. Alba did her best to kill it. 7/10

but shoddy casting too blinded by starpower to get more than a few decent actors/actresses. Sadly thats a VERY bad problem with movies. But movies such as RENT with people who are famous in other places but not the silver screen, the movies are hurt. All those people in RENT were major broadway peeps besides Rosario and Tracie but no one went to see it due to they being "No Names" in movie theatres. Thats also shown in the casting of the hairspray movie. They casted HUGE stars who may be talented but....uh maybe not. Any way, the last movie I saw was.....uh....um.....OH Taledega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. 8/10 It was hilarious

War of the Worlds: Loved the SFX, loved the designs (altho' I'd have gone with a much bulkier framed alien instead of their lean ones.) Didn't really care for the cast, though there was one or two good performances. All in all, another film hurt by the actors, tho' not nearly as bad as the other one. 8/10

Scary Movie 4!!
TOTALLY WORTH IT!! I LAUGHED SO HARD!!! I would really recommend this one, but I'm giving it a 9/10 because there were some gross parts in it. But other than that, it's too funny!

I saw Accepted, and I give that one a 9/10-it was FABULOUS! All of you go see it, *pushes all the movie people out the door into their cars*
Then Clerks II....now I left on the first five minutes. They swear too much and it's just not funny. 0/10 STUPID
Then I also saw Super Size Me, I give that a 9/10 because there is one gross part (well, one REALLY gross part) but other than that-a very informative and interesting movie.

Bionicle 3. I only watched this because it was the only thing I could do during the 6 hour journey yesterday, and once it was over, I was bored stiff. While it was on, I was busy laughing at the horribly bad "serious" parts. Ok, the animation in itself is good, but the storyline is overused by the Lego peeps. 3/10 for myself, but for the audience it's actually aimed at, it's probably more of a 7/10 (my 9 yr old brother loved it )

OMFG! This movie was the shizzle Dizzle. I loved it. The suspense action, and the plot don't get old.

The Departed 10/10
Awsome movie. I was resistant at first, because I had no idea what it was about, but then someone got capped in the head. And there were splatter effects. Good ones. When someone got shot, they got shot. Like when <sploiler> gets shot in the head, the originally white walls got a splatter of red all over, complete with chunks and drips, and when the guy landed on the floor and the camera later zoomed in on him, we saw him lying down in the pool of blood that had been and is currently oozing out of the hole in his temple.
And it was really funny. In a dark way.
*man and woman are shot in the head, execution style, but when the woman falls, she falls at an angle onto the man* Costigan: She fell funny! Ha.
Ellerby: Go f*** yourself. Dignam: I'm too tired from f***ing your wife. Ellerby: How's your mother? Dignam: Good. She's tired from f***ing your father.

OH EM GEE!
I JUST SAW CASINO ROYALE TOO!
Bond is a frikkin hardcore sav in this one. Sure, he's not as classy as Sean Connery, and I wouldn't do him like I would Pierce Brosman, but he's a helluva lot more hardcore.
And Vesper Lynd is the best Bond girl ever. Not only was she sexy, but she had a personality.
And the bad guy was funny, with his inhaler and all.
I'm sure the few people who were at the movie theater on a tuesday night were really mad at my friends and I for being somewhat loud and laughing a lot.

Yeah, Vesper was awesome....it was dissapoitnig at the end though. The dude with his inhaler made me smile too. "I'm rich, I'm powerful... but *inhales*" You know what I thought was funny?
"Hey, go park my car." *throws the keys*
*Bond parks it and sets off a bazillion alarms* LOL LOL LOL!!
Oh yeah, getting back on topic: License to Kill: 9/10 (because sometimes the gross parts make me squeamish.)
