Final Fantasy VII Advent Children - Totally. Fucking. Rules. Period.
It is impossible to find a bad aspect about FFAC, the narration is perfect, the characters are life like and easy to relate to, Tifa is hot, Cloud kick ass. (As always.) And Sephiroth is still the most badass bad guy out there, though the design of his sword has deviated from the game. Flower girl, can't spell her name. Ares I think. Well, she's friggin hot! In any case, it totally freaking ruled.

Er. I liked the action in Advent Children. Amazing graphics and stuff. Plot was a bit confusing, but I got it eventually.
But I think Cloud was an emo whore in that one. Just saying.

Yeah, I found it was way too pandering to the fan community, not grounded enough. The action was breathtaking, but really, there should have been another fight or two for the entire party. Really, the whole "roll over for Cloud and let him do everything" deal got old. They should've given us some villainous lackies to see the party wail on, so that people weren't forced to oggle Cloud the whole time. It just seemed a little too Cloudcentric. I mean, just adding three-five minutes of allies with exposition and their own battles would have filled it out very nicely. I will admit it was gorgeous, sleek, and had great action, though. 7/10 in my book, maybe a bit farther up or down depending on my mood.

Heathens, the Tifa fight was possibly the most awesome fight in the movie.
On another note, Tifa did point out that they'd lost they're old strength after that final battle, where as Cloud seems to have found it again.

Yeah, the Tifa fight was actually better than most of the stuff in the Cloud fights. (As Kevin's signature would attest). That's one of the reasons I wanted more of the other people. They rocked their moments so thoroughly that I think another couple moments would have been fitting.

Lee says to Stephanie: WATCH. ANCHORMAN. WOMAN! She really needs to try watching that film. Best comedy in the past 10 years, at least.

300 It gets a / 10 Yeah. I'd say "I want to be a Spartan!" but then I realized I'd probably be discarded. But basically, the 300 was one of the most savage movies ever. And stylish, too. Plus, Leonidas is just plain savvy.

A lot of my friends that are girls didn't want to see it because it looked like a "guy" movie. But derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr extreme badass hotties in almost no clothes that could pwn your boyfriend like THAT = totally sweet.
Plus it was so intense. I think it'd be a fun drinking game movie. Every time someone dies, or every time someone says "Sparta," or every time someone throws a spear (twice if it's in slow motion).
Yaaaaay for movies!

Yep. Every single guy in that movie was obscenely ripped. Including the old councilmen. Their biceps were bulging out of their togas, and it was quite demeaning to people like me who are small and have some muscles but are no where near those old men's.
Excuse my grammar, I saw it again about an hour ago.
In other news, Faramir / Thelios is a pirate. Arrrr.

Lol, ripped means slow. God I'd love to live in an age like them. Nothing like know its either you or them, and the world is so much more damn clear. On top of that, if anyone tried to steal my stuff, or offended me, I'd just challenge them to a duel and KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL them.

Great, funny, great. 9/10.
Due to less funnyiness compared to Shaun of the Dead.

Gladiator
10/10
As my friend said, "It's literally the perfect movie." There's nothing you can complain about in it. The acting is superb, the action is awesome and realistic, there's an actual plot, characters are developed well, even if they have minor roles... even when they bloopered, I was like "cool" instead of "psh, worst movie evar."

Lupin the Third: Mystery of the Twilight Gemini: So far, the best Lupin movie I've seen. Great music, decent plot, EXCELLENT pacing, and superb animation, but a disappointing climax to an otherwise thrilling film. Oh, and quicksand in the desert, which is somewhat SOAP, sooo... 9/10

The Producers - 9/10
SPRINGTIME FOR HITLER. Enough said.
Gawd, who'd have thought that movie musicals would be so much fun? +1 for the bounce it added to my step afterwards.
this is why you should all take movie recommendations from Spiffy

Actually, IIRC, I was the one who originally recommended that to you, but seeing how long ago it was...
Oh, and most recent film? Hmmm... Open Season: Blech. Blech blech blech. They get maybe three good jokes in, all the while throwing thinly camoflaged racist/ethnic stereotypes at us. Just plain irritating. 6/10

Blades of Glory: 7/10
Stupid funny is still funny in my eyes. And, even though Will Ferral acts the same way in every single one of his movies, he's still good at being an overactor and at making some funny jokes.
