Superbad - 8/10
Super funny. In a super stupid kind of way. The best part was, I saw it at an outing with the Christian Campus Fellowship, which was ironic because the movie was definitely not appropriate for the audience.

Superbad was fabulous. It was a lot funnier than I thought it would be, and I'm a fan of Michael Cera...but yeah it was pretty fn funny....and I loved that Clark Duke was sketching around the background haha. If you haven't seen this, www.ClarkandMichael.com , I suggest you check it out NOW.

Superbad - 10/10 Hilarious movie, and it's all I have to say. The cops are fucking awesome, and the movie is somewhat believable. "You named yourself Mc'Loving?"
Blades of Glory - 9.5/10 Another funny movie. I mean, two guys in pair skating? The first scene were they're skating in the tournament is so funny I almost pissed myself. The last scene? So stupid it's funny. "As if skating wasn't so gay enough"
Balls of Fury - 8.5/10 I was expecting a little more, but it was a good movie to pass the time anyway. The sole concept of bringing Ping-pong into a movie is enough to make you think how funny this will be, really.

Resident Evil: Extinction 6.5/10
It was a decent action movie if nothing else. While there was almost non-stop action, the movie lacked the depth the other two had. Add that to the shortness of the film (approx. an hour and a half) and you get a decent movie, but certainly not one that you HAVE to see.

It was better than Apocolypse anyways....

Bull shit. My favorite was the first one, but I still liked Apocalypse more than Extinction.

Resident Evil: Extinction
7/10
Some nice action, but the ending was rather anticlimactic.

Resident Evil: Extinction: 9/10
Damn, man. It's not the most intellectual or well put together movie I've ever seen, but I had fun the whole way through. I'll be buying it on DVD just to have the fun. It was funner than two giraffes headbutting each other.
Superbad: 8/10
Funny and a truer representation of high school than any other film.
Mad Max: 3/10
Sucks.

The Kingdom - 8/10
A good amount of action and enough of a message to make me feel like I wasn't watching a dumb action flick.

I watched Forrest Gump again the other night. It's an excellent movie, 10/10.

Karas: Something or other.
It was like Prime made a movie. Lots of twisted (and not in a good way) backstories, unneccesary violence, clashing CGI, and a plot that doesn't make sense. Though some action was fun. So yeah, as I said, Prime's RPing career, in Anime form. 5/10 (It was watchable- When Bleach wasn't on.)
Yes, the most recent movie I watched was two weeks ago.

American Ganster - 9/10
Can anyone say BADASS? First scene of the movie is Denzel lighting a man on fire and then shooting him. 'Nuff said.

Bee Movie - 8/10 It was pretty funny, but it wasn't exactly a masterpiece.
The Golden Compass - 8/10 Am I the only one getting sick of cliffhanger endings? I mean I know it's a trilogy, but god damn!

The Golden Compass - 2/10
As my friend said, "I felt like I just watched the sparknotes version of the book." And he hadn't read the book. But I'm inclined to agree. And as my other friend said, "They're Lord of the Rings-ing it!"
Oh, and on that cliffhanger ending note, THAT'S NOT EVEN HOW THE BOOK ENDS! THE BOOK ENDS MUCH MORE CLIMACTICALLY AND MORE CLIFFHANGERY.

I liked LotR, both the books and the movies. I haven't read The Golden Compass book though, otherwise I'd prolly frown at the movie. I can't stand the Harry Potter movies because something is always changed from the book.

Well yeah, but Lord of the Rings was actually done well, unlike The Golden Compass. Trash acting, trash sequencing, and very little actually came from the book. The effects were pretty. I'll give it that.

Hay. Double post.
Stardust - 10/10 Awesome. Over the top romance, witty-Neil-Gaiman humor, action, adventure, AND adherence to the book. Like perfectly.
I Am Legend - 9/10 Epic. Will Smith does a really good job of acting. It gets one point off because it's like a Ford/Mac commercial, though.
Juno - 10/10 Hilarious. I didn't know what to expect walking in, and I wasn't disappointed. I can't really complain about this movie. I really liked Juno (the character). Like if I met her in real life she'd be my best friend.
And screw it. I'm changing it to 10/10.
No Country for Old Men - 7/10 I enjoyed most of it, but it went on longer than it should have. I also didn't like how characters were being introduced well into the movie, and that some scenes were kind of random. The awesome part was the lack of music. It heightened the tension and such.

juno 10/10 most people have said what I wanted to say
I am legend 7/10 the movie was a blah movie due to in my opinion many subjects unanswered. such as what the mutants where and who was the leader looking one who screamed alot. I wish they would have made it R so it could be closer to the book. In the book the enemies were vampire zombies not super measils people.

Master And Commander: Far Side of the World: Very dark, very depressing, yet still fun to watch. Though how many kids did they have on that boat? There's all sorts of dead children. Murphy's Law in movie form, yet awesomeness. 8/10

Cloverfield - 8/10
It did a really good job of making you feel like you were actually in there with the main characters. Speaking of the main characters, the camera man was dumb. Occasionally funny, but mostly dumb.

I agree with the 8/10.
"I was disappointed with how little the monster was in the movie as well as how the movie just kinda ended. I wanted at least some sort of resolution. Also, I disliked the design of the monster. It was cool and all but it reminded me too much of other things.
The movie was pretty cool, but I didn't go to get hooked on a damn franchise." -Me in the Cloverfield thread at Mafia Time

Cool beans, I've wanted to go see it since early this year. Good to know it wasn't a Dragon Wars (flashy adds, but no substance).
