OOC: If you remember Yoshi's Travel Around the Cities RP from way back, this is modeled after that. For those that don't remember... well, if most RP's are like an episode of the anime, this is more like a season or two, except that anyone who wants to can be a main character (or multiple main characters, if you have multiple characters). This should also be a good RP for anyone who's just starting. Anyone who wants to may join in, at any time that they can do so without making a plot hole.
BIC: The blimp's dining area was small, but then, it didn't need to be all that large to accommodate the passengers. Max sat alone, trying to enjoy a meal, but he was too apprehensive to truly enjoy it.
"Mind if I sit here?" came a voice Max didn't recognize. "The other tables are all full."
"Sure, why not," Max sighed. He didn't really want company, but he was in no mood to make a fuss about it either.
"Thanks." The chair scraped on the floor as the newcomer took a seat. "Say, you're Max Milen, aren't you?"
"Have we met?" Max replied. He certainly didn't recognize this person.
"No, but I know of you. Mainly from that tournament a while back, when you went up against Arcinius in the semi-finals."
Max remembered that battle well. Max had been a bit out of his league at the time, against such a skilled trainer, but had managed to make a good show of the battle anyway. I probably learned more from losing that battle than I would have if I had won, he mused to himself. "Those were the days," he said.
"And didn't you manage to defeat the Cherrygrove Gym Leader, back when there was a Cherrygrove Gym?"
Max's eyes darkened briefly, then he sighed again. This newcomer couldn't have known that he had hit a sore spot -- Max was still angry about what had happened to Zebedee. And of course, the repercussions that had been set in motion were still unfolding.
"Yeah, I did." Max was doing everything he could to hide his annoyance. He didn't really want to talk, especially after the newcomer had mentioned Zebedee, but there didn't seem to be any good way to avoid it.
"So, what brings you to Sinnoh? Going to try for a regional championship?"
Max took a deep breath, debating whether to reveal the real reasons he was heading to this remote region. Ah, screw it, he finally thought. Might as well. Maybe it'll even help me feel better.
"Maybe, but I'm not really into the whole regional tournament scene anymore. Actually, a while back, a Pokemon thief took a couple of my Pokemon. I've run into him once or twice since then, but haven't really been able to do anything about it. One of the Pokemon is already beyond recovery, but I'm still holding out hope that I can get back the other one. I recently heard he was seen there, so I'm going after him. It's personal. That, and some of my Pokemon haven't been getting enough training. I'm hoping to get some work in on them."
"I see. Me, I'm headed home. I was spending some time with family. I work at the Pastoria City Safari Zone. Drop by sometime."
"No kidding? I'm one of the Rangers for the Fuschia City Safari Zone."
"And you're taking time off for this? Well, I guess if there were ever a good reason, yours is it."
"Don't worry, the Zone's in good hands. We actually just re-opened to the public recently."
Just then, a voice blared over speakers sprinkled throughout the dining area. "Attention passengers, we will be landing in Twin Leaf Town in approximately 30 minutes. Please take this time to return to your cabins and prepare your belongings for arrival."
"Well, guess we'd better get going, then," said the other ranger -- Max realized that he still did not know his name. "Oh, my name's Logan, by the way. Logan Freedon."
An hour later, Max was sitting on a bench in Twin Leaf Town, perusing the regional information he had just downloaded to his Pokegear. Geez, how the hell am I gonna find Mazone in such a big place? he thought. I just wish my source could have been more specific about where in Sinnoh that rotten thief was, but then, by the time I got there, he'd probably have moved on anyway.
OOC: I don't actually have any idea whether we'll be seeing Logan again; we'll have to see what happens in Pastoria, when the time comes. I know Max is a little angsty in this post, but that should be temporary -- I hope.

OOC- New character time, I think that I'll actually stick with this one.
BIC- "Chimchar no! Get back here!!" came the cry of a young man from down the road a stretch.
A moment later an orange-brown streak shot over the ground and onto the top of Max's head. The streak halted and laughed almost like a small child. The form of a small chimp with a puffy tuft of hair on top of its head, a swirl on its stomach, and a fiery tail rested on top of the trainers skull. In a child like manner the Chimp pokemon grabbed Maxs ear's and tilted its head over the trainers, meeting his eyes. Chimchar closes its large eyes and laughed slightly.
By this time a young man in his early twenties appeared at the bench, out of breath and covered in sweat. The man was very large but had an aire of gentleness about him. His hair was very short and he wore a mid length beard that just graced his chin. A brown dress shirt hung over his upper body, sleeves rolled up into neat bundles just below the elbow. A ragged pair of jeans nearly dragged the ground around his dirty skater style shoes. All in all he appeared fairly average in appearence besides the fact that he was nearly six and a half feet tall.
"I'm so sorry if Chimchar is giving you any problems, I just got him a couple of days ago." the young man said breathlessly as he pulled Chimchar off of Max and put him on his shoulder.
"Names Aiden Cross," the man said. " You must be new to the area or just passing through. I'm just about to do the same actually. I just graduated from university with a degree in Pokemon breeding and handling. I guess that its unusual for someone my age to just be starting their training journey, but I promised my grandfather that I wouldn't get a pokemon until I got out of college. Guess to each there own."
"Oh, sorry for rambling on like that. I tend to get lost in thought sometimes. So what brings you to these parts?"
OOC- Not very long, but it works for bringing Aiden in.

Alexxia was looking over the railings on the blimp, with her Roselia perched on her shoulder like a parrot. The Sinnoh Region. A new, unexplored place for her. A place that was, undoubtedly, full of new pokemon she hadn't seen before, full of areas she did not recognise. She was caught by the thrill of adventure, just as she had been all those years ago. Roselia could sense how excited she was, and ran one of her roses along Alexxia's face. Alexxia smiled, and lifted Roselia into her hat where the grass type made herself comfortable, soaking up delicious sunlight. Her petals seem to glow as she sat there.
"What d'you reckon, Roselia? Ready for a whole new adventure?" Alexxia smiled. Roselia softly said her name, but Alexxia could tell that all of her pokemon felt the same thrill from this that she did. Well, except for maybe Sableye, who was a present from Max Milen. She thought fondly of her last encounter with Max, where they and Val had taken down a psycho who, from what she gathered, wanted to abuse to crystal for his own dastardly means. Alexxia smiled as she thought about it, but her look froze as she gazed among the people.
Was that Max?
She blinked and he was gone. She was sure she had seen him, but maybe it was her mind playing tricks on her. Perhaps she had only thought she'd seen him, but actually only saw someone who looked like him and her mind had made her think it was him. That said, she couldn't shake the feeling that he was also going to the Sinnoh reason, though she had no clue why. "Roselia, did you see that?" Alexxia asked. Roselia gave a non-committal "Selia". Alexxia frowned, then shrugged her shoulders. Best not worry about it, she told herself.
"Attention passengers, we will be landing in Twin Leaf Town in approximately 30 minutes. Please take this time to return to your cabins and prepare your belongings for arrival."
"Best get moving, Roselia," Alexxia said. Roselia hopped from Alexxia's hat and on to her shoulder. Alexxia held out a hand, and Roselia hopped on to it as Alexxia made her way back to her cabin. She had very few belongings, just some essentials she had in her bag. A hair brush, mirror, hairspray, her money, a bottle of water and some medicine for her pokemon. Even so, it took her most of her time to find it all from her room and put it back in her bag.
No more than an hour later, Alexxia was in Twinleaf town, wondering where she was. She glanced at her watch to check the time, then pulled out her updated Pokegear, downloading a map of Sinnoh. Within ten seconds of pressing "Download", her Pokegear beeped, telling her that her download was complete. She brought up the map and had a look, zooming in on Twinleaf and trying to figure out her location. Wandering and looking for some significant structures to help her decide where she was, she managed to walk right into a bench.
"Ouch!" She exclaimed, hopping back and brushing herself off. She glanced up and looked to see if anyone had seen her, to see someone sat on the bench and someone else talking. "Gosh, I'm sorry! I'm so... Max?"
Alexxia paused to look at who was sat on the bench and, sure enough, it was Max Milen. Alexxia gave out a small scream of delight, and hugged Max. "It's so good to see you again!" She said happily. Then she realised that this other person was talking to Max. Extending her hand, she said, "Gosh, sorry! I'm Alexxia. Are you a friend of Max's?"
OOC- I hope that's okay. Let me know if I got any details wrong, folks.

OOC: Looks right to me.
BIC: "Alexxia! Didn't expect to see you here," said Max. He couldn't help it -- Alexxia's enthusiastic greeting triggered a full-on bout of laughter from the Safari Ranger. Once Max finally had enough of a hold of himself, he continued. "This is Aiden Cross. We just met. How's Sableye?"
Before Alexxia could have answered the question, Max felt something vibrating against his hip, and heard a soft buzzing from his pocket. He reached in, pulled out his Pokegear, and flipped it open. As he had expected, it was a text message. Max muttered out the message as he read: "Rumor -- Cal Mazone sighted in Jubilife City. Avoid galactic consequences."
Max looked at the number the message had been sent from. It was the same one as the one that had directed him to Sinnoh in the first place, but there was no name attached, and Max had had absolutely no luck in his attempts to find out who the number was assigned to. "To quote Alice, 'Curioser and curioser.' Not only does the guy I'm after just happen to be in the next city over just as I get here, but that last part -- what in the world could it mean? And I wish I knew who was sending me these messages..."
OOC: And you thought your post was short, DL... well, I think I said what needed to be said.

"Sableye's fine, he's getting stronger by the day and he's getting into the team really well," Alexxia said, running her index finger over Sableye's pokeball, thinking of the gremlin pokemon. It was true - Sableye had taken to its role in Alexxia's team very well, and despite a few practical joke mishaps, Sableye was fitting in perfectly with the team. It's unique movepool was an excellent addition to her combination attacks.
"Cal Mazone... the guy who stole your pokemon?" Alexxia asked, thinking back. She recalled Mazone appearing when they had hunted down Keris, though it was only fleetingly and she had been attacked moments later. She quickly pulled out her pokegear and loaded up a map, looking for Jubilife City. There it was, just a town away. On the way, Professor Rowan's laboratory stood. She considered paying a visit to the Professor and ask his opinion on the pokemon in the area.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

"Where do you think you're going?" said an ominous voice. Max turned, and saw three shadowy figures. As the light hit them, they were revealed -- two women and a man, each wearing a strange uniform featuring white, black and silver, with a yellow 'G' on the front of their shirts. Each held a Pokeball in each hand.
One of the women, clearly the leader of this trio, stepped forward. "Clearly, you don't know what you're up against. Allow us to introduce ourselves."
The man continued, "We are Team Galactic. Consider this your only warning. Stay out of our way, and nobody will be hurt."
"This must be what that person meant by 'avoid galactic consequences'," muttered Max. Out loud, he said, "I'm not sure we're the ones who don't know what we're up against. If you're smart, you'll leave now. I don't take kindly to people threatening me, and if you think I'm just some run-of-the-mill Trainer, you've got another think coming!"
"Us? Leave?" said the third Galactic member. "That's it. You three will be leaving here in body bags!" In a flash, Max, Aiden, and Alexxia were surrounded by the Galactic members. Almost as if they were a single person, the three dropped the Pokeballs they were holding.
In front of Max appeared a rather fat-looking cat Pokemon and one that looked like a metal bell with arms. In a flash, Max pulled out his Pokedex, flipping it open to get a brief entry on each of these Pokemon. "Purugly and Bronzong," he read, and noted the symbols corresponding to their respective types. Meanwhile, Alexxia was now faced with a Golbat and a Graveler, and Aiden with what appeared to be a small skunk, little more than a foot long, and a dark blue frog, standing about 2 feet tall.
"Don't say I didn't warn you," said Max, his voice harsh and scolding. "Electabuzz, Marowak, let's get 'em!" Twin flashes revealed Max's Pokemon; each immediately took a combat stance. "You know, it's not too late to turn back," he chided.
"Never!" replied the leader. "Purugly, Bronzong, let's show this upstart why we're called Team Galactic!"
OOC: OK, guys, sorry for disappearing for so long. DL, in case the post didn't make it clear, the ones being sent after your character are Stunky and Croagunk. I didn't name them in the post because Max doesn't recognize them. I'll put my part of this battle in my next post. Each combatant may auto their opponent's Pokemon.

"Great, I've got to take on two poison type pokemon with just Chimchar. Oh well, time to show off what I know about handling. Chimchar, start off with Flame Wheel down the middle." Aiden stated with a mild calm about him.
Chimchar knodded and took in a deep breathe. In a quick movement Chimchar had curled into a ball and began to spit out flame that surrounded its body. As the little chimp spun faster the wheel of flame grew in strength. Chimchar rocketed forward through the small gap between Stunky and Croagunk, sending plumes of flame over the bodies of its two enemies. Stunky was thrown off to the side while Croagunk stood it's ground, getting a nasty burn.
"Alright Chimchar, get behind Croagunk and use Aerial Ace."
Chimchar burst out of its balled up form and struck down at Croagunk with a glowing white fist. The powerful attack stuck home extremely hard, sending Croagunk crashing to the ground. Chimchar began to dance in celebration only to be hit with a Double Edge by Stunky and a Poison Jab from below by Croagunk. The combined attacks sent Chimchar reeling but the little monkey still had some fight to it. Quickly it recovered and hit Croagunk across the face with another Aerial Ace, rendering the toad unable to battle. Stunky took a slight step back in suprise at the shear power of Chimchars anger but was still able to battle. Stunky knew it had a higher defence than its partner but it was still worried.
"One down and one to go. Hang in there Chimchar, don't give up just yet."
OOC-Short but it helps advance.

OOC: Yep, that it does. Guess I'll go ahead and get my part started while we wait for Yoshi.
BIC: Max briefly glanced in Aiden's direction. Damn, he only has one Pokemon, he thought. But it looks like he knows what he's doing. That Chimchar's battling impressively.
With that, Max turned his attention back to his own opponent. Looks like she came prepared, he thought. Those Pokemon look tough. Good thing I've had my Pokemon practicing some new moves. They could come in handy. Max concentrated, deciding he would make use of the other ace he had up his sleeve. Focusing first on Electabuzz, he telepathically sent his first orders. Let's go. Start with a Screech, then Cross Chop that Purugly. Switching to Marowak, he continued, Swords Dance, then Bonemerang on Bronzong. Both Pokemon visibly tensed, still unused to "hearing" their orders in this manner, but quickly recovered. Max breathed a sigh of relief. Good to know that I can do that even without that crystal.
Electabuzz burbled, and Max covered his ears as the electric Pokemon emitted a harsh tone. Meanwhile, Marowak's trademark bone was beginning a familiar spin, as the bonekeeper increased his offensive power.
"Purugly, Double Team! Bronzong, Sunny Day!" Max heard. Double Team makes sense, he thought, but the only reason to call for a Sunny Day would be... "Marowak, look out!" Max screeched.
Too late. Marowak had already committed itself to a Bonemerang, and to retrieve the bone at the end, Marowak had to limit its movements. The bone flew, nailing the bell-like Pokemon, and again on the return stroke. Bronzong had taken significant damage, but still had plenty of fight left in it. Meanwhile, Electabuzz had launched its attack, too. As the slightly-bronzed Pokemon leaped into the air, Purugly vanished, reappearing moments later as one of a half-dozen images of itself. As Max had expected, the first attack met a copy, which fizzled into nothingness. Realizing this, Electabuzz landed, turning the momentum from its jump into a brief spin before launching itself, foot outstretched, at another target.
Max crossed his fingers. All comes down to luck now, he thought, then gasped as the remaining images of Purugly vanished. The second kick had hit its mark. Purugly yowled in pain. "Purugly, Body Slam! Bronzong, Solarbeam!" came the next orders from the opposing trainer.
She's more clever than I gave her credit for, thought Max. Once Marowak and Electabuzz were committed to their attacks, she took full advantage. Bronzong glowed a fierce yellow, then emitted a greenish-yellow beam of light at the bonekeeper just as it retrieved its weapon. Marowak attempted to jump out of the way, but Bronzong's aim was true. A direct hit. Marowak was heavily hurt -- not out yet, but Max couldn't be sure that another good hit wouldn't finish the job. Meanwhile, Purugly let out an aggressive growl as it launched itself at Electabuzz. Electabuzz's attempts to avoid the attack were only marginally better than Marowak's had been, and Purugly still managed to land a significant blow against its high-voltage foe.
Max again focused his thoughts, quickly devising his next move. Electabuzz, Rain Dance and Thunder. Marowak, another Swords Dance and Bonemerang on Bronzong. Electabuzz and Marowak grunted. As Marowak's bone again entered its trademark spin, Electabuzz was releasing what looked like a small electric ball skyward. Suddenly, clouds covered the sun, and raindrops began spattering the ground.
"Purugly, Protect. Bronzong, Iron Defense." She's got something up her sleeve, thought Max. But what? While Max puzzled it over, Electabuzz launched its attack. It hit Bronzong sqaurely, but the blue bubble Purugly had created around itself blocked even Electabuzz's Thunder perfectly. Meanwhile, Marowak again launched its bone at the metallic foe. Bronzong, thanks to its defensive move, still had some power left even after taking the Thunder and the second Bonemerang, though it obviously wouldn't be able to take much more.
"Bronzong, Earthquake." Max gasped. That was her plan all along! She wasn't trying to protect Purugly from my attacks, but from Bronzong's. Bronzong pounded itself into the ground. Purugly's protective sphere shimmered as it absorbed the shockwave, but Marowak and Electabuzz weren't nearly so lucky. As the attack ended, Max could see that Electabuzz had flinched in pain, and Marowak was breathing heavily.
"Purugly, Water Pulse that Marowak!" Purugly purred, and sent a ring of water at the bonekeeper. Luckily, while Marowak was feeling the impact of the attacks it had taken, it still was able to narrowly avoid the watery attack. That was too close, thought Max. If Marowak hadn't managed to dodge that, it probably would have been finished. But, I don't get it. She obviously has a lot of skill, and her Pokemon are surprisingly well-trained. What's someone like her doing in such a low-level position with someone like Team Galactic?
OOC: I'll stop there for now, and finish the battle in another post. I was originally intending for this battle to be pretty one-sided in Max's favor, but what can I say? Sometimes, these battles all but write themselves. Besides, it's hard to make a one-sided battle interesting to read.

OOC- Sorry for the long wait guys! I'll be more prompt in future BIC- Alexxia was thinking quickly, her brain whirring, practically audibly. A Golbat and a Graveller. The obvious choice would be Poliwhirl, he would be able to attack all the weak points. Then, Roselia would work to support Poliwhirl. However, her thoughts were interrupted by the opposing pokemon, who were already launching their attacks. Golbat was lunging at the girl, its wings glowing silver, while Graveller ripped a chunk of earth out of the ground and hurled it at Alexxia. There were two bright flashes as shapes appeared in mid-air, two of Alexxia's pokemon releasing themselves to come to her aid. Combusken was out, his face set as stone as he ran at the incoming earth. He jumped and spin, kicking straight through the earth, smashing it to pieces with a perfect Brick Break. Sableye was stood, watching Golbat, suddenly jumping up and grabbing one of Golbat's wings and twisting round the back so he had the bat in a hold. Then, the gremlin pokemon vanished, taking Golbat with him, reappearing on a collision course with Graveller. Sableye launched himself from Golbat's back and pointed his palms at the struggling pair, releasing a series of ghostly blasts at them, a barrage of Shadow Balls while Combusken landed in front of Alexxia, spitting a jet of flame at them. Alexxia grabbed her hat to keep it on as the attacks combined and exploded, sending shockwaves through the area. "Alright, Combusken, Sableye," Alexxia said, taking control of the unexpected situation immediately. "Combusken, you need to hit them as hard as you can. Sableye, try to lure them together!" Both pokemon nodded. Combusken grabbed Sableye's arm and spun him round, throwing him at the Graveller before jumping high into the air, spitting flames. Golbat swooped at Sableye, ready to clamp its jaws around the gremlin, but just as it closed it's overlarge mouth, Sableye vanished with a dark flash, reappearing on Golbat's back. He kicked from the bat's back, sending it staggering off course and crashing into the ground as Combusken prepared his attack. The fire bird was still in the air, spewing flames that spiralled around his body as he, too, spun. The flames converged on his foot, still spiralling, as Combusken shot at Graveller like a firey drill. The attack connected, as the Graveller was far too slow to dodge, but as soon as Combusken kicked from the rock pokemon and landed only a few foot away, Graveller lunged with a surprising rush of speed and grabbed Combusken. It jumped into the sky, much higher than Alexxia would have expected a Graveller to be able to jump, and threw Combusken back down at the ground. Combusken was on his feet again after seconds, but the attack had had a serious effect on him, Alexxia could see. He was panting, and his feathers were seriously ruffled. "Combusken, be careful!" She shouted as Sableye landed next to the fire bird. Alexxia's pokemon looked at each other briefly, then the pair shot back into the fray.

"Alright Chimchar, stay on your guard out there." Aiden called out as a Smokescreen washed over the field.
Chimchar began to look around wildly for its opponent in the thick black smoke. Stunky didn't make a sound or move quickly to give away its position and it was a very good battle plan. Chimchar looked back at Aiden for more direction when Stunky made it's move. From the darkness came a blob of black energy that struck Chimchar squarely in the back. Chimchar fell forward and smacked its head into the ground, knocking the tired little chimp out. Aiden frowned as he recalled the chimp pokemon.
"Damnit! Chimchar couldn't take on two by himself...but I do have Grandpas pokemon with me. He said not to use it until I knew I could handle it though...but I have to use it to get out of this situation. Sorry Grandpa. Let's do this!" Aided called out as a pokeball hit the ground and burst open in a rain of sparkles.
A strong form of a pony appeared on the ground in a gleaming white flash. As the light began to fade a pure white coat of fur appeared and instead of orange flame, blue had taken its place. Ponyta flung it's head back in a regal manner and reared back on two legs.
"I can't belive it! Grandpa gave me his prized Ponyta as a gift. This is perfect. Ponyta, use Bounce and then Horn Drill as soon as you see Stunky!" Aiden called out as he pointed out into the smoke.
Ponyta glanced back at its new trainer and nodded slightly as it began to attack. Ponyta placed all four hoofs together and lauched itself into the sky like a flaming missle. At the peak of its rise Ponyta looked down at the smoky ground and spotted an area with disrupted smoke. As the horse pokemon began to fall it began into a spin. The speed began to grow and a whisling began to fill the air. Ponyta struck down hard and happened to catch Stunky in the area of effect. Stunky stumbled back and fell onto its stomach. Ponyta reared up again and nayed in victory as Aiden ran out into the field to join his newly aquired pokemon.
"Alright you goofy looking punk, why did you attack us!"

Karin stepped off of the blimp with her bike at her side. She stretched slightly and let out a long yawn, wiping away the tears that formed. So this is Twin-leaf town... hmph, kinda small. I bet you this place has wicked trails in the forest area!. A small smile formed and she lifted her leg and sat on the seat of her acrobike.
Karin pedaled slowly at first and then started to increase speed as she rode along the forests edge, admiring the wildlife it contained. Stopping suddenly, she heard the nay of powerful Ponyta. Thats not normal she thought to herself silently. She twisted her bike around, and cut through the woods and upon merging on the other side she ended up in the middle of a fight. A strange team was on one side of her, and people who seemed to be defending themselves on the other. "Umm... "she said ducking an attack, "my name is Karin, and..." She screamed as she hit the ground, avoiding an attack. Covering her head she cursed "This isn't good..."

OOC: Speaking of long waits... sorry, guys. My muse is apparently quite fickle. BIC: "Alright, enough playing around," said Max's foe. "Bronzong, Psychic that Marowak. Purugly, Giga Impact on Electabuzz." Getting a little overconfident? thought Max. A slight smile came to his face as he realized that this was a perfect opening for him. "Electabuzz, Marowak, Protect!" he said. Timing was of the essence here, and for that, Max couldn't afford to give his orders telepathically. As Marowak was surrounded by a light blue aura from Bronzong's attack, it began to rise into the air. Suddenly, a medium-blue sphere appeared around the bonekeeper, cutting off Bronzong's attack. Marowak fell to the ground, and its protective sphere acted like a rubber ball, sending Marowak bouncing back into the air. Meanwhile, Purugly charged Electabuzz, only to find itself impacting on what might as well have been a brick wall, for all the reaction the protective sphere gave. Now's my chance, thought Max. "Marowak, Earthquake. Electabuzz, follow up with Focus Blast." Max grinned as Marowak changed its position for a three-point landing, as Electabuzz maintained its protective sphere. "Thanks for the inspiration," Max quipped. He relished the look of horror that his foe adopted as she realized what he meant. With that, Marowak landed, the momentum from its fall adding an impressive amount of energy to an already-powerful attack. While Electabuzz was safe due to its Protect attack, Purugly and Bronzong were not nearly so lucky. As Max had predicted, the shockwaves from Marowak's landing overwhelmed the last of Bronzong's defenses, and Purugly had little strength left. Finally, Electabuzz let its protective sphere drop. The electric Pokemon brought its wrists together, palms outward. A bolt of harsh white energy rocketed from the bronzed Pokemon's outstretched hands to its unattractive foe. Purugly, from the combination of its thwarted attack and the impact of Marowak's Earthquake, could not make a move to avoid the powerful attack. The brutish cat yowled as the attack hit home, and fell to the ground, defeated. "You... how did you... impossible!" screeched Max's foe, as she recalled her fainted Pokemon. "Come on, guys, let's get out of here." Alexxia's opponent grunted as he recalled his Pokemon, then the trio dashed away as fast as their legs could take them. Seeing the would-be attackers vanishing into the distance, Max let out a heavy sigh, then recalled his own Pokemon. He turned to Alexxia and Aiden, and made a slight double-take when he saw a newcomer. She obviously did not represent a threat to Max or his friends, so the Safari Ranger relaxed his own stance. "Well, I guess that's what my anonymous tipster meant by 'avoid galactic consequences'," said Max. "Something tells me we haven't seen the last of them." With that, he made direct eye contact with the unfamiliar girl. "I didn't catch your name in the chaos. I'm Max Milen. And you are?" OOC: Sorry for cutting your part of the battle short, Yoshi, but the plot, such as it is, called for it. Besides, I think it's high time we moved on.

Karin stood up and brushed the dust from the ground off of herself, and picked up her acrobike. She extended her hand and offered a warm smile "My name is Karin, and I heard a battle... and I ended up in the middle of it!" She laughed softly.
"I am traveling Sinnoh and was looking for some companions in my travels, so would you, and your troupe mind if I joined for a while? We could even train by having sparring matches with our pokémon!" She pointed to the belt on her hip "I have six loyal companions, and they all work with each other to get the best results. Each one of them has a designated partner, but; when in a pinch I mix it up a bit."

OOC: Welcome to PRP, leviathan! BIC: "Karin, eh? Nice to meet you. So, you're a double-battle specialist, then. Sounds like you and Alexxia here," he gestured to her, "would get along well. You're welcome to join us, though I should warn you, it will probably be dangerous. I'm on the trail of a highly skilled Pokémon thief, and on top of that, I seem to have a talent for getting myself into... interesting situations." Max smiled. "That said, before that battle, we were about to head to Jubilife City. I've been informed that my target may be there. Oh, but where are my manners?" Max indicated his other companion. "This is Aiden Cross. He's a newer trainer, but if that last battle's any indication, he's got quite a natural talent." With that, Max pulled out his Pokégear and flipped it open. A few key presses pulled up the map function. "Good, there's a Pokémon Center on the way out of town. We'll stop there to let our Pokémon recover from the battle, and maybe gather some more information." OOC: Like Travel Around the Cities before it, for this topic, anyone can start a plot point whenever we're not in the middle of one. Since my last post ended the latest plot point, anyone who has something in mind can start the next one. If you have any questions, feel free to PM or instant message me. I would recommend that, unlike TATC, we try not to split up the party often, as that will probably lead to a lot of confusion from interlocking plot points. Keep in mind, not all plot points need to involve battles.

"I'm Alexxia, it's nice to meet you Karin," Alexxia said, shaking Karin's hand. "I'd love to face you in a battle some time, I love two-on-two battles." She turned to Max, and said, "Max, I'm gonna head up to Jubilife. There's supposed to be a contest hall there, and I can't wait to show my pokemon's skills off! I'll catch you later!"
And with that, Alexxia turned and started to jog north. Alexxia had come to Sinnoh for two reasons. The first, she wanted to explore a new region, one she had never visited before. The thrill of an adventure had gripped her. The second, the region was supposed to have a number of both gyms and contest halls. Alexxia loved proving herself and her pokemon, showing just what they could do. Also, it would be her first time using Sableye in a contest, and she wanted to see how Sableye did.
Twinleaf town sped past her in a blur as she jogged, eager to get to Jubilife. Within just a few minutes, she had reached the route joining Twinleaf and Sandgem, and was pulling out her pokegear, loading up a map of where she was. "Alright, it's just this way..." She said to herself, looking up. The route was simple, straightforward. She allowed herself to walk the route leisurely, admiring the scenery. Somehow, Sinnoh was beautiful. It was so in tune with nature. Even the cities themselves, they were built so that they did not limit the growth of organic lifeforms. Kanto was so different, where the cities were built irrespective of nature, though the different routes were never tampered with. Johto was some combination of the two, some cities were built within forests, others built over them. Hoenn was like Sinnoh, built around nature, to work with it. Alexxia mused this through the route, her thoughts occupying her until she reached Sandgem.
"Sandgem, Sandgem..." She muttered to herself, looking at her pokegear. "Oh! Professor Rowan's lab is here. I wonder if he has any advice..." She stopped speaking when she realised she was talking to herself. With a laugh, she checked her pokegear once more and set off for the lab, which proved to be not too far away. It was easily the biggest building in the town, though that wasn't difficult. Behind the lab, there was a massive expanse of land, which was split up into different environments, suitable for every pokemon. Alexxia approached the front door of the lab.
Suddenly, the doors slid open and someone ran straight into Alexxia, knocking her off her feet. "Oh damn, sorry!" A male voice said. "Didn't see you there, are you alright?" The person was extending a hand to Alexxia. "Yeah, I'm fine," Alexxia replied, grabbing his hand and pulling herself to her feet. She looked at the boy to see a teenager, maybe a bit younger than she was. He had vivid blue hair, much like she did, but his was short and spiky, appearing to defy all gravity. Hovering behind him was a shiny Gardevoir. Alexxia wasn't sure, but she could have sworn she saw the Gardevoir shaking its head in embarassment. "Hey, you're..." The boy started. He shook himself, and said, "If you see Max, tell him that the guy he's looking for was seen heading west out of Jubilife." "Oh, right, okay," Alexxia said, taken aback slightly. "Cool, thanks. Well, see ya later!" The boy said, before tearing off away from the lab, heading north.
Alexxia stood there for a minute, still stunned by the quick encounter, before recovering and shaking her head. "Alright, gotta remember that," she said to herself before entering the lab.

OOC: Sorry to keep you guys waiting so long. Apparently, my muse is pretty fickle lately. Performing a minor auto on Aiden and Karin, just assuming them to be at the Center. BIC: Max sat at a table in the lobby of the Pokémon Center, having just reclaimed his Pokémon after having the ever-skilled staff work their magic. I hope Alexxia's alright, he thought. He had his Pokégear and Pokédex in front of him, and a look of intense concentration in his eyes.
It all feels just a little too perfect, he thought. All this time chasing after Mazone, and now I get tips on his location out of the blue, from someone who won't identify himself. And then there's this Team Galactic. Max had done some research about them while waiting for Electabuzz and Marowak to be treated. I don't think they would have attacked us like that unless they had some reason to believe we were a threat. But why would they think that, especially since I only just arrived in Sinnoh today? They seemed to be specifically looking for me, and that woman was no ordinary trainer. Someone probably told them about me, and is trying to keep me away from something. But what? And who would have done something like that? Not Mazone, he's not the type to work with anyone. Maybe that guy with all the psychic Pokémon? Keris, was it? As for those messages... any of my friends would have identified themselves and wouldn't have been so cryptic.
Max sighed, and turned to the Pokégear, which he had showing a map of this part of Sinnoh. So the nearest town is Sandgem, and that's pretty much due east of here. Then, Jubilife is north of that. That last message said Mazone had been seen in Jubilife, so I might as well head there like I was planning. With that, Max turned to the Pokédex, which he had open to his Pokémon listing. As he often did, Max was looking through his options, trying to decide which group of his Pokémon he would have available. Sometimes, it's a pain to only be allowed to carry six Pokémon at a time. As long as I'm here, who knows? I may end up finding some more Pokémon to train. Finally, after a few keystrokes, Max was satisfied that he had a balanced team of Pokémon chosen, and closed the Pokédex.
Max turned to Aiden and Karin. "If you guys are ready, let's head towards Sandgem. Alexxia should at least be nearly there by now." Max stood, put his Pokédex back in his pocket, and with a couple of key presses, switched his Pokégear to its e-mail function. After looking up Alexxia's number in his contact list, Max scribed a quick message. "Aiden, Karin and I heading towards Sandgem. Meet at Professor Rowan's lab?" Max sent the message, and gestured to Aiden and Karin. "Shall we?"
OOC: For anyone who cares, I'm assuming this part of the plot to be happening after the conclusion of "The Experiment".

Alexxia felt her pokegear vibrate, and before it could start ringing, playing a catchy tune that often got drilled into peoples' skulls, she opened her message inbox to find a message from Max. After sending a quick reply back ("Sure thing, but hurry up, I really want to get to Jubilife."), she approached the receptionist's desk. "New trainer?" The receptionist, a woman in her mid-twenties with perfectly manicured nails and neatly kept blonde hair, asked as she saw Alexxia. "No, I've been a trainer for a while. I was just wondering, is Professor Rowan free?" Alexxia replied. "I think so, he doesn't have any appointments and he isn't due to head out for another couple of hours," the receptionist said, quickly bringing up a schedule on her computer. "Can I ask what you'd like to see him for?" "Oh, um... I just wondered about the native pokemon in Sinnoh," Alexxia replied, shrugging.
Suddenly, none other than Professor Rowan came bursting into the reception area, clearly flustered, or annoyed. "Carla!" He roared at the receptionist, who jumped. "I need the security footage from the last six hours!" "Professor?" The receptionist, Carla, said tentatively. "Professor, what's wrong?" "One of the pokemon has gone missing! One of the Champion's pokemon!" Rowan replied, barely keeping his voice below a shout. Alexxia looked from the professor to the receptionist, completely bemused. "One of the Champion's pokemon?" The receptionist repeated, a puzzled frown on her face. "The security footage!" "Oh, yes sir, sorry!" "And who are you?" Rowan snapped, looking at Alexxia. "I'm Alexxia," Alexxia replied, slightly timidly. Rowan was clearly not available for a chat about pokemon right now. Alexxia had been slowly edging away, but... "How long have you been stood there?" "Only a few minutes, Professor," Alexxia replied, doing her utmost to appear polite. "Did you notice anyone suspicious around?" Rowan demanded. "Um..." Alexxia racked her brains. "In Twin Leaf some guys called Team Galaxy or something attacked us..." "Team Galaxy? With those ridiculous haircuts? They'd never have gotten in. Anyone else?" Rowan asked, sounding just as agitated. "Well, there was this one guy... Blue hair, had a blue Gardevoir... But he didn't seem like a thief," Alexxia said.
"Professor, there's only been one person out of the ordinary," Carla interrupted. "Blue hair and a shiny Gardevoir, matches Alexxia's description of him." "So, we have the thief. Carla, alert the authorities immediately," Rowan ordered. He had calmed down a bit knowing this. "He'll get captured soon enough, and we'll have the stolen pokemon back. Anyway, Alexxia, why are you here?" "Well, professor," Alexxia said, slightly stunned by the sudden change of topic. "I was wondering what you could tell me about the native pokemon in Sinnoh?" "Ah, yes, of course," Rowan said. "Come through to the inner lab. We have pokemon from all over Sinnoh here, you're welcome to have a look. Do you have a pokedex?" "Yes, professor," Alexxia said, taking her pokedex out. "Latest model from Professor Oak." "Oak? That old bag of wind? Let me have a look at it," Rowan said.
OOC- Dialogue heavy post ew. It is setting up a plot for my characters though, so yes.
Also, I'm leaving the Champion's name unknown because I dunno if everyone else wants it to be Cynthia or not. *Shrug*

OOC: Ugh, here we go again with the long periods of inactivity. I've been busy, but still, this is a bit ridiculous. DL, I'm going to assume you're not going to be making that post anytime soon, so I'll just go ahead and move the story along. Please, though, do post when you can.
BIC: Max headed out of the Pokemon Center, and quickly made his way to the edge of town. Aiden and Karin will catch up, I'm sure, he thought. With that, Max pulled a slightly worn Pokeball from his belt and dropped it to the ground. The ball burst open and revealed Max's dearest Pokemon friend. "Espy, let's head over to Sandgem. Keep an eye out for anything unusual, please?" Espy nodded, and the two set off on the short road to Sandgem.
As they walked, Espy keeping a sharp lookout with its well-honed psionic abilities, Max continued to ponder the situation. After all this time chasing Mazone, why would all these clues be falling into my lap now? And where does Team Galactic fit in to all of this? The leader of that group... she must have been one of their more skilled trainers. It's as if they knew they'd find me when and where they did. Suddenly, Espy squealed. Max quickly broke out of his contemplations, his eyes darting around. "What is it, Espy?" Espy let out a quick stream of sound; Max was only barely able to translate.
"It couldn't be... could it?" he wondered aloud. "Looks like we'd better get a move on. Espy, return. Skarmory, get us to Professor Rowan's laboratory in Sandgem town, best possible speed!" As he said this, Max was already pulling Espy back into its Pokeball, and tossing another ball down to reveal a metallic bird. Without wasting a second, Max climbed onto Skarmory, which took off at a blinding speed towards the nearby town.
Minutes later, Skarmory swooped in for a landing. Max quickly recalled the Pokemon, and rushed through the doors to the laboratory to see Alexxia and a man in a lab coat, presumably Professor Rowan, both looking nervous. "I hear you've had some trouble here. What's going on?"
OOC: Short, but I think it gets us ready to move things along.

Taking only a second to consider the advice he had heard from above the Pope took a slight step back and ran toward the hill side at full speed, closing his eyes right before making the final leap. After a few moments the Pope realized there was solid ground underneath his feet. Looking around he noticed he was in some type of laboratory and Ocelot was standing about twenty feet away from him with his gun out.
"Oh God, what are you up to now my friend." The Pope said with a grin on his face. "Have you found a mode of time travel for us perhaps?" Lee Note: As often happens with time travel, this never really happened.

OOC: Move along the story it will Q...
IC:
"I'm sorry kid but I think this has gone far beyond your little training escapades." Out of the corner of the room a young man dressed in a black military outfit holding a freshly spent revolver walked out from the shadows. A loud thump was heard as the bodies of both Professor Rowen and Alexxia fell to the ground as pools of blood began to emerge from underneath their corpses. Ocelot then turned his attention to the Pope. "Pope take this Pokeball and make your way to Paradigm City Pt 1 and release Dialga tell him to set the clock back to my entrance. My soul should automatically be transported to myself in Paradigm...or at least I think. Worst case scenario theres two of me running around the universes. You need to find a way to transfer yourself over to paradigm though. You figure out something while I take care of this kid." Ocelot threw the pokeball over to the Pope then made his way towards Max. " Now Kid I want you to stay calm and help clean this mess that I've made up. OK?" OOC: Post removed for rules violation here. Though if you want to do this plot in ORP, you're more than welcome to start up the topic there.

Ocelot, just no. You do NOT under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES Auto my character, least of all killing them. This RP has a plot in it, and that's mine and DJ's business.
Put simply:
You are NOT fucking up this RP with that shitty thing you're doing. Same goes to Pope.
This is PRP, not ORP. Keep you silly little time travel things where they belong.

OOC: I must back Yoshi/DJK up on this one. The posts violate many of the rules of PRP here, and a few of the rules of ORP. This was mostly just for fun, and I doubt you two mean to wreck anything up, but your posts don't work here. So, I won't slap you guys in the head for just this, but please be a little bit more respectful. Thanks.

OOC- Seriously, what?
I appreciate the intervention, Lee, but seriously, that was BANG out of order.
Joke or not, it IS the sort of posts that would get a user banned if this were any other forum. And what, you're not even gonna slap warnings on them? If I or DJ did the same thing elsewhere there'd be massive punishments! >=O

OOC: Oh, bawww. It's not as if they'll be stupid enough to do it again, and if they are, they get a boot in the ass. And any forum that bans a contributing user for one stupid action like that has some serious issues. But yeah, that's no bannable offense. That's a Karma/EP docking (prolly 20 each) if they do it again, and then a temp ban if they insist, but I don't think that they will.
