Hello! Well, since it seems I'm gonna make an actual return to RP now, I think I'm gonna need a quick State of the ORP. What I want to know is: - What is the most current wiki-style guide to ORP?
- Did this idea ever come to fruition? It would be massively helpful if we had this
- What RPs are active? Officially inactive? Which ones do people intend on finishing and which ones are effectively dead?
- Who's still around?
- i put in 5 bullets when i selected the list option but i didnt come up with something to put here

If you look at the thread "What Awaits You", it gives you a pretty good idea as to what the current active roleplays are.
As for the essentials guides, they never got finished, but with the setting wide reboot, it's becoming a thing we're going to take a shot at again (At least guides to Races, Magicks, and Locations, as well as an official timeline thread. The HUGE thing that happened while you've been gone is we're slowly changing the names (And a decent amount of detail) of all the cities in the setting (and dropping/changing most ripped stuff) so that it's all our own intellectual property, so we're free to publish RP collections, eBooks, anthologies, comics, etc. Cherrygrove's now Whelkshore, Ecruteak's now Winstone, Olivine's now Brightmeadow, and so forth.
Who's still around: Pohatu, El, DL, Merc (shadowmaster), Shoni, Cendra, and Silumas are ACTIVE-active, while Biscuit, Choobs, and SV are borderline active, and BB and BloodWolf swing through the site every couple days, but have yet to actively return to roleplay.
We don't have a wiki anymore, but TVTropes provides a lot of the basics.

The Archie Exie TVTropes pages are the best place for cataloguing, analyzing, and general geeking out these days. It's pretty much just Elliot, Lee, and me adding content, and more contributors would be welcome. (Dis)Orientation is the big event RP du jour. Obscured Truth is still going strong and is, as it has been for the past few years, pretty much required reading. Flint and Steel features a few characters who have been kicking around quite a bit these days. Oh, and some thing called Ishkabibble is actually on track to finish this spring, hopefully.
