PREVIOUSLY ON THE EXODUS... "Hello? Where is everyone? It's so... it's so cold..."
-BWAAAAMP-
"If we can't beat him, perhaps we should join him?"
"Traitor... Leave my sight. I will stop him myself."
-BWAAAAMP-
"Aha! He's slowed down... but he's still moving?"
-BWAAAAMP-
"Swimming to the bottom of this river might take a little longer than expected, especially since I gotta carry Grendel's arm with me."
"How long can you hold your breath?"
"Two days should be long enough, right?"
-BWAAAAMP-
"We've done it. We're finally at the end. Stand down, foes."
"We surrender."

Finely dressed ladies and homogenously clad gentlemen! Welcome once more to the 2010 LUGIASIAN AWARDS As you all can see, in the added week delay, we've managed to patch up all the holes in the theat— crash boom—er, except that section over there. Uh. Right. Paramedics should be there shortly, right? Oh there they are... ANYWAY. Like I was sezzin', I would like to welcome everyone to the grand finale of this somewhat delayed event. Once everyone has found their seats, I'll start handing out these golden bad boys. Or well. You'll have to picture the gold yourself. Some asshole wizard made them invisible to all but the best role models, and I know none of you qualify. So please, come on in. Make yourself comfortable. Avoid the traps. Strap in. Enjoy the ride. We will be off after a word from our sponsors (and possibly other things that ch00bs is buying time for)

Here we gooooooo THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS Friendliest Member Last year's winner: SV The noms: Lee | BloodWolf | Tangrow | SV | Kara And the winner is...SapphireVaporeon! Jeez again? What is it even WITH her and her FRIENDLINESS? That's three years in a row! Surely SV isn't actually that nice. Maybe y'all are just being ironic and trolling me. Yeah. I can believe that.
Funniest Member Last year's winner: Bulbs The noms: ch00bs | Asmo | Pohatu | Ninety And the winner is...ch00beh! Wooooooooo. I guess I should accept this with a joke. So there are two fish in a tank. One goes "you drive, I'll man the guns."
Happiest Member Last year's winner: Kevin The noms: Kevin | Tangrow | SV And the winner is...SapphireVaporeon! And how happy she must be to have that friendliest award for three years running. I'd be happy for you for this win, but I think you're happy enough for the both of us.
Coolest Member Last year's winner: Asmo The noms: Biscuit | Asmo | V101 | ch00bs | Ninety | Pohatu | Elliot | Qzumaki
AND IT'S TIME TO HEAR FROM OUR EXPERTS!
Elliot: My gut is telling me to say v101, but I'm not sure why. Even though she hasn't been around in like forever.
Lee: Q wins Photu and Loog's votes. I think that'll push her into the win.
Pohatu: Tough one. Lot of good candidates. V101 and Asmo have darkhorse appeal, but Ninety and Biscuit have a certain sophistication goin' on. If Biscuit were posting more these days I would think people would vote for him based on the signature, but in his absence, I'm guessing Ninety will take it.
SV: This is an awfully hard one to predict, and not just because there are EIGHT WHOLE FREAKING NOMINEES. But really, who's surprised? The Exy is so full of awesome that I'm baffled as to how the internets manage to contain it. But who's the coolest of the cool? I dunno. Choobs seems as likely a candidate as any. And the winner is...Ninety! Lots of nominees for this one, so I guess a lot of us are pretty cool in our own ways, but in the end, it looks like our favorite double digit number is the coolest cat of them all. Somehow V and asmo made it into the list, but I think they've been absent long enough to classify as lukewarm.
Smartest Member Last year's winner: Lee The noms: Lee | Pohatu | ch00bs | Biscuit And the winner is...ch00beh! I think I'm pretty dumb a lot of the time, but I guess that still makes me smarter than all the other candidates ohburn.
Wisest Member Last year's winner: Kuroboom The noms: Lee | Kuroboom And the winner is...Lee! Between his long ass formspring insightful overthoughts and his long absences that make him seem like a hermit on a mountain, it makes sense that Lee would be regarded as the wisest among us.
Most Dedicated Member Last year's winner: Blood The noms: Elliot | Pohatu | Lee | ch00bs And the winner is...Pohatu! Oh how the spammy have fallen. Blood went from like 75% of the forum posts to -12%. At least he got replaced by the guy responsible for almost all the big RP projects last year.
Most Creative Member Last year's winner: Everyone The noms: Loogs | Lee | Pohatu | Ninety | Qzumaki And the winner is...Lugiasian! It's like every time Loogs makes a post outside the shoutbox, there's some crazy ass art piece to accompany it. That or boy problems, but hey, they say that you can't be an artist without cutting off your ear, or something like that, right?
Best Artist Last year's winner: Elliot The noms: Pohatu | Qzumaki | Loogs And the winner is...Qzumaki! This was a super close race between Loogs and Q (sorry Potato, but you suck), but in the end, the long lost big sister took the prize. She should really stop by to pick it up.
Best Writer Last year's winner: Ninety The noms: Loogs | Pohatu | Lee | Ninety | ch00bs And the winner is...Pohatu! haha just kidding about sucking! Or well, sucking at awards. Still plenty of you know what that you are absolutely fabulous at sucking, Pohatu. (hint: it starts with a p and ends in -asta)
Handsomest Member Last year's winner: Award not present The noms: ch00bs | Pohatu | Ninety | Rupert | V101 And the winner is...Ninety! Just look at this face. Beautiful.
Loveliest Member Last year's winner: Award not present The noms: Qzumaki | Loogs | SV | iron mouse | Pohatu | Lee And the winner is...Qzumaki! So lovely.
Most Improved Member Last year's winner: Qzumaki The noms: Prime | ch00bs And the winner is...Prime! Here's to the guy who fluxuates more than your mother's libido. Looks like we caught him in an upswing this year, and hopefully that upswing will continue up to infinity. Pchoooooo
Most Missed Member Last year's winner: Hop The noms: runkhatu | SV | Iron Mouse And the winner is...Drunkhatu! Ah yes, our secondary admin's secondary personality, responsible for lashing out violently against stupid newbies and wrong-stepping oldies. Sniffle. I miss him so much.
Best Couple Last year's winner: Award not present The noms: ch00bs/Pohatu | Exy/Exy | Abuse pairings. All of them. | Jones/ch00bs/Pohatu/Boxbot | Exodus/Procrastination
Elliot: Exodus/Procrastination seems to be the most valid one out of all of these.
Lee: Abuse pairings. All of them. Homestuck kids again for the win.
Pohatu: People flock to the self-deprecating nominees like pigs to the trough, so Exodus/Procrastination will probably win stupidly, even though we all know who really deserves to.
SV: Isn't it obvious? The Exodus and Procrastination have the best relationship this year. In fact, the reason for my delay was a sordid affair with Procrastination. I'm not ashamed. (Okay, maybe a little.) And the winner is...Exodus/Procrastination! Man whatever. Jones/ch00bs/Pohatu/Boxbot are so much better than Exodus/Procrastination. I'm demanding a recount... tomorrow.
Biggest Penis Last year's winner: SV The noms: SV | V101 | Pohatu
Elliot: SV. I am driving for SV to win this.
Lee: SV if she busts out the banner again (I hide sigs, so I don't know if she has. If not, too many people vote Pohatu.
Pohatu: Did SV campaign for this at all this year? Well, she'll probably get it either way.
SV: I want to say SV, but given my total lack of campaigning this year, watch it be Pohatu. Sigh. And the winner is...SapphireVaporeon! And the legacy continues. SV can continue to be the happiest member of the Exodus, even though she guessed wrong.

I'm way too pessimistic about these things. I always assume people will go with the dumbest response, bar a few (really, I'm astounded that Q didn't take coolest. I mean, come ON guys.)
Maybe I just assume everybody subscribes to a mob mentality.

That's not what Procrastination told me last night, Lee.
And by "told me," what I really mean was "whispered sweetly in my ear as it held me and we basked in the afterglow of our forbidden passion."
I mean what.
Thanks for the awards, folks! I can't believe that I won Happiest Member. Huzzah for the Biggest Penis victory, though! Gotta keep it out of the hands of you boys. *snicker*

THE RAZZIES Most Annoying Member Last year's winner: Loogs The noms: Prime | Loogs And the winner is...Loogs! Close race for this one! But in the end, Loogs managed to get the ANNOYING 2X COMBO! If only you hadn't seconded Prime, then this award would not have gone through this time. It seems that you have managed to annoy even yourself. Congratulations, I guess?
Most Depressing Member Last year's winner: Kara The noms: Kara | Kuroboom | your mother And the winner is...Kuroboom! So much army shit. But hey, at least you're getting out, right? Here's to a better year. Congratulations on this award, though, I guess.
Strangest Member Last year's winner: ch00beh The noms: Pope | Tangrow | ch00bs And the winner is...Tangrow! Tangrow's first act on the Exodus was to make the wackiest, floofiest character in the Homestuck fanfic RP. He's weird for Homestuck standards.
Least Dedicated Member Last year's winner: Rupert The noms: Rupert | Asmo | V101 | Prime And the winner is...V101! Tangrow's first act on the Exodus was to make the wackiest, floofiest character in the Homestuck fanfic RP. He's weird for Homestuck standards.
WOOPS
Elliot: Tough choice, though I'm not sure why Prime is up there? He's not exactly not-dedicated? Oh well. Rupert, Asmo and v101 all randomly flicker in and out of existence (though when was the last time anyone saw v101?) so it's a difficult call... I'ma say Asmo.
Lee: Tough one, but I'll say V101. I know more people will vote her.
Pohatu: Why is Prime on here. This is problematic because the Househeld-wave new members probably don't even know who Rupert, Asmo or V101 are. It'll probably come down to the older members' votes, in which case I think Rupert stands a chance at coming out on top once again, but they're all pretty affably useless, aren't they?
SV: Okay, who nominated Prime for this award? That's just silly. Rupert, Asmo, and V101 are pretty much professionals at this. But Rupert won last year, so maybe V101 was the least-dedicated of 2010.
I bet V is so undedicated that she's not even going to accept this award.
Biggest Procrastinator Last year's winner: Lee The noms: Lee | Elliot | Loogs And the winner is...Lee! I would have thought that the votes would be closer, what with Loogs trying to get into college and Elliot having video games and openly stating that he was playing them instead of posting, but Lee won by a landslide. I guess this just means everyone wants Ishkabibble posted in.
Most Impatient Member Last year's winner: Prime The noms: Prime | Loogs And the winner is...Loogs! I didn't want to put the winner thing in spoiler tags because Loogs might get so impatient she'd claw my eyes out before it could be opened. Right after she gets done with her SAT.
Worst Role Model Last year's winner: Drunkhatu The noms: Drunkhatu | ch00bs | Andrew Hussie And the winner is...Drunkhatu! Drunkhatu manages to be an even worse role model than Andrew Hussie. Impressive.
Most Run Down Member Last year's winner: Lee The noms: Loogs | SV | Blood | Bulbs And the winner is...BloodWolf! I guess minecraft addict is a step below spambot.
Biggest Drama Magnet Last year's winner: Loogs The noms: Loogs | Elliot And the winner is...Loogs! High school girls apparently attract more drama than gay college boys. That's a good thing to take note of when choosing who to date.
Most Infamous Member Last year's winner: Award not present The noms: Lee | Loogs | Elliot | Prime
Elliot: Hahaha oh man, this one really is a difficult decision. All of us here are infamous for very different reasons. I'm gonna say Lee, because his lack of posts in the RP tends to get brought to light a lot more than anything anyone else did.
Lee: Loogs has more dedicated fan haters than anybody else, but Prime tends to win infamy just by existing, with no actual reasons beyond people saying "He's Prime". Tough call.... I'll go with Loogs, due to our influx of newer members not knowing of when Prime wasn't a cool guy.
Pohatu: The newbies from Charms, once again, complicate things here. Will they vote for Elliot as a joke, since he's the only one they know from over there? Of course, how many of them are even going to vote in this at all? You know what, I'm just going to say Elliot, specifically to save myself the chore of deciding between the other two. (Lee: "Don't you mean the other three?" No, Lee, I don't.)
SV: I know there was a bit of controversy about the nominees for this award and the various things that he or she may or may not have been infamous for. That said, I think that most of us can agree that Lee is one notorious fellow.
And the winner is...Prime! And all the experts are wrong! As Lee said: Prime tends to win infamy just by existing. There must be a mathematical proof of this somewhere. Something along the lines of "Prime exists. Infamy exists. Therefore both Prime and infamy must be equivalent."
Most Likely to Die an Untimely Death Last year's winner: Award not present The noms: Elliot | Kuroboom | Rupert And the winner is...Rupert! A masseuse's job is more dangerous than a soldier's or an AIDs-getting-sodomizer. So says the Exodus

I'm like not even around that much. it's a dumb bullshitty award and the only way I won't win it next year is if I just stop posting altogether. maybe I'm just saying this because today was totes the worst day ever. THE PULITZERS Best Topic Last year's winner: RP Tropes The noms: The Topic Wherein You Prove You Are Not A Spambot | Villain Advice | Character Concepts | World Building | Play-by-plays by ch00bs And the winner is...World Buidling! The nominations for this where a camwhore topic during a time when our biggest camwhores were super busy, a topic that linked to another topic, a pretty cool topic talking about characters, a topic to create an entirely new setting, and a topic where people could volunteer to get an asshole critique. So really it came down to characters or setting. Take that complex characters. Y'all are setting's bitch.
Best Board Last year's winner: RP Discussion The noms: RP Discussion | ORP | Househeld And the winner is...ORP! As much as we love talking about doing stuff, we can all agree that actually doing cool stuff is more important. Now if only someone would post in the RP.
Best Fic Last year's winner: Somewhere Between Life and Death The noms: Magical Realism Pitch the Protoype | Christmas Songs the Revision And the winner is...A tie! I knew this was going to happen when I allowed two votes per person. Sure, not everyone split their vote evenly, but everyone who did lean one way were neutralized by another person. It's crazy how these prisonner's dilemma voting schemes work. (although I think MRP was the stronger of the two)
Best Image Last year's winner: Blaise by Pohatu The noms: Williams by Pohatu | Antonio by Pohatu | Helen by Lugiasian | Still Life by Lugiasian | Exploding Head by Lugiasian | Lilly Pad Hands by Lugiasiain | Queen of Strife by Lugiasian | Vriska Plushie by Lugiasian | Swans by Lugiasian | Rhometer by Lugiasian | Rance by Toasted Marshmallows | Vieve by Pohatu | Thyra by Pohatu
LOTS OF NOMINEES! LET'S HEAR FROM OUR EXPERTS, WHO RECEIVE TWICE AS MANY POINTS IF THEY GET IT RIGHT: Elliot: Considering the vast number here, I'm tempted to give a split response. Is that in the rules? I have no idea. I'm gonna vote for a split award between the Vriska Plush by Steph, Vieve by Pohatu and Rhometer by Steph.
Lee: Vriska plushy wins. Our Homestuck demographic is titanic. I'd want Pohatu's Vieve or Thyra to win for cute goodness, but I think Vriska takes it.
Pohatu: God damn it, Choobs, why are you so mean? Jesus! I don't know! The Queen of Strife maybe? The name alone is bound to get Househeld players' attention. That's the best I've got.
SV: Thirteen candidates? That's just cruel. I'm pretty much going to just give it a good guess and say Vrishka Plushie, 'cause we all love Homestuck so damn much. And the plushie was pretty cool.
And the winner is...Rance by Toasted Marshmallows! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! Looks like all our experts were banking on the sizeable Homestuck crowd. Unfortunately, everything pretty much got some votes, and one person's double vote managed to pop Rance up one vote above the crowd. Three gueses as to who made that vote. ps. no you cannot split votes because i couldn't split my vote and if i couldn't, then no one can >
Best Avatar Last year's winner: Lee The noms: Loog's Yoshi Has Taco Hair | ch00b's Terezi Goes Eyeballs | Pohatu ORP Remix | Ninety's sexy back And the winner is...Loog's Yoshi Has Taco Hair! It was a pretty close race between Loog's avatar and 90's sexy one, but in the end, silliness prevailed. And all was right in the world. Except for the decrease in boners.
Best Signature Last year's winner: Pohatu The noms: Ninety | Bulbs And the winner is...Ninety! And then sexy came back, and everything was perfect. Really, the only complaint you can make about 90's sig is that "King's of Leon suck" but that's pretty easily rectified by a naked, tattoed lady. I propose that King's of Leon also replace their whiney frontman with a naked, tattooed chick. I'd be a fan.
Best Alternate Name Last year's winner: ಠ_ಠ The noms: All of Lee's names | Beelzebibble | Gay'd Yoshi And the winner is...Beelzebibble! I don't even remember any of Lee's other names besides Delighted Lee because his name is easily punnable. On the other hand, Beelzebibble is a pun and an advertisement at the same time. Genius. (i guess Gay'd Yoshi is also an advertisement, but it's false advertising because he has a boyfriend, so that's dumb)
Best Skin Last year's winner: Parchment The noms: Parchment | Creepy Monotone | New Era And the winner is...Creepy Monotone! Woooo three years running as the best skinner. I am glad that Creepy Monotone won. It is a good skin and everyone shoud use it. I assume anyone who thinks it's not a good skin got stabbed by Mandelbrot while trying to vote for it and accidentally voted for something else as their face slumped into their keybard.
Best Fad Last year's winner: Award not present The noms: Verbed Name | Homestuck references | I am Niji And the winner is...I am Niji! I would've thought that Homestuck references would have won since they're so pervasive nowadays, especially compared to the two hit wonder of I am Niji. The lack of commitment to hop on the bandwagon must add to the appeal. I mean really, go to your profile and change your name to "Niji" or read up on thousands of pages of complex webcomic? It's even easier than thinking of a clever verb since someone else has already told you what your name should be. I would propose that we devote a holiday to being Niji, but I know that in our hearts, we are already him.
Best Posting Game Last year's winner: Post Race The noms: Insult the Person Above You in a Rhyming Couplet | Post Race And the winner is...Post Race! Really weak year for posting games. I mean, hasn't Post Race been delayed for like twenty five years? Maybe people just voted for it as a way to say "FINISH IT."
Best Wiki Article Last year's winner: Accusations of Pohatucentric bias on Archipedia The noms: The Magite System | Telaen | Tal-Hydor And the winner is...The Magite System! The wiki hasn't been used for much of anything this year besides Aleta organization. I have a feeling Magite beat the other articles because it had less words than all those other lore ones. I know I didn't read them.
Best New Board Concept Last year's winner: Ishkabibble The noms: Househeld | Aleta
THE SHOWDOWN! LET'S HEAR FROM THE EXPERTS: Elliot: Hmm... Househeld is a brilliant concept but sort of falls down with people replying, while Aleta is more consistent with the plans and execution. Call it even. I'll say Househeld.
Lee: Aleta hopefully wins. It counts more as a concept, IMO.
Pohatu: Hahahaha uh oh. Close, but I think more people who'll vote are involved in Aleta than in Househeld.
SV: I'm going to have to go with Househeld for this. In addition to paying homage to the brilliance that is MSPA, it also brought in a fair number of solid new RPers. Can't argue with that.
And the winner is...Aleta! The choice between "original, group built world, made from scratch," or "BLATANT RIP OFF BLUH BLUH POOP." It's a pretty tough choice, I know.
Best Post Racer Last year's winner: SV The noms: ch00bs/Slowbro | SV | Kuroboom And the winner is...Kuroboom! Pokemon? Meh. Rocket cheetah chariot? I guess that's kind of cool. THINGS STACKED ON THINGS STACKED ON THINGS STACKED ON THINGS? Heeeeell YEAH! Unfortunately, Rube Goldberg machines kind of suck at doing things quickly and efficiently, like not dying in a race.
Best Formspring Last year's winner: Award not present The noms: Pohatu | Elliot | ch00bs | Lee [quoteblock]DING DING DING Elliot: Either Pohatu or Lee, due to regular literary dissertations. I'll say Pohatu, based on his more consistent replies and general humour.
Lee: Pohatu wins. If people actually asked me questions, it'd be close, since I tend to be more straightforward and utilitarian, but as is, with equal activity levels, Pohatu's charm takes it.
Pohatu: This is kind of a weird one to ask the experts on but okay. I'll go with me on this one, I guess. I've answered about twice as many questions as Lee, and the other two gents are way behind, so I can probably scrape this one on sheer quantity.
SV: I think I'm going to give Lee the nod on this one. Given his astounding presence in RP, the insight afforded by his Formspring makes it, at the very least, an interesting read.[/quoteblock] And the winner is...Pohatu! This was supposed to be free points after the image one...

OK FINALLY JEEZ this must be what it's like to be Lee. THE OSCARS | RP AWARDS Best Recent RP Last year's winner: Luxury Train Ride The noms: Radiance | Light and Darkness Collide | Head Games | The Case of the Burgled Boullogne | Obscured Truth | Househeld | Ishkabibble | Gasoline
HERE WE GOOOOO Elliot: I really want to be arrogant and say Obscured Truth, but I'm not even sure that anyone outside of me, Pohatu and Choobs is reading it. Instead, I'm gonna say The Case of the Burgled Boullogne, purely for the amount of feedback it's gotten.
Lee: Case of the Burgled Boullogne wins by a hair I'm betting. Though it's possible Obscured Truth splits the vote, and Radiance wins.
Pohatu: Ishkabibble was perceived as a shoe-in in early 2010, but its appeal has grown cold lately PRIMARILY DUE TO LAG. I'd put my stakes on Head Games, Radiance or Obscured Truth next year, but for now, I'm guessing Boullogne will take it.
SV: The Case of the Burgled Boullogne, hands down. Yeah yeah, I know it's a Pohatu Production (tm). It was also some of his best writing and one of the most novel concepts to hit RP in the recent years.
And the winner is…Obscured Truth! I am pretty glad that Obscured Truth won. I mean, in the few weeks after it's brilliant conception and intense birth, we've seen sweet characterization in otherwise tertiary characters and introductions of really wacky new ones. THe RP's off to a good start, and here's to hoping it continues soaring.
Best Overall RP Last year's winner: Triannual The noms: Summoner Style | Luxury Train Ride | Crystal Part 2 | Ishkabibble | The Case of the Burgled Boullogne And the winner is…The Case of the Burgled Boullogne! And while the experts where all banking on Boullogne and utterly failed at that prediction, they did foreshadow that everyone would just generally really like the French, command taking detective. With its hot NPCs, a refreshing format, dark mysteries, and overall lulz, what's not to love? (an idiot savant, that's what's not to love bleu bleu bleu that's renard bluhing in french)
Best Short RP Last year's winner: Award not present The noms: An August Luncheon | The Case of the Burgled Boullogne | Gasoline And the winner is…An August Luncheon! This is funny because Pohatu said that food kills RPs instantly. Although Luncheon was only 16 posts long, so loophole?
Best Long RP Last year's winner: Award not present The noms: Luxury Train Ride | Ishkabibble | Househeld | Summoner Style And the winner is… Ishkabibble! Yeah, we really can't deny that Ishkabibble is really long. I mean 23 scenes? Hopy shit, Pohatu. Just balls. Balls within balls. Pretty soon, Ish will be a househeld name that means "anything that is overly long and complex and pretentious."
Best RP Post Last year's winner: End Game Finale The noms: Sly's dream | "One, what do you see?" | "Floriferous" | Helen goes Sestina Saiyan | Hari shows us the delights of eating dick
LOTS OF GOOD CHOICES! LET'S HEAR FROM THE EXPERTS: Elliot: I'm gonna bet on a long-shot here and say "One, what do you see?". The reason I choose this is because it completely flips our perception of the characters we've already seen, and changes their personalities and roles within the plot into something much more sinister. While all the other posts are good, none of them surprised me as much as "One, what do you see?" did.
Lee: Floriferous wins. Though Sly's dream was touching, it felt a bit too cheap and straightforward, and Helen's massive incantation was only forced epic. Floriferous feels the most natural as an example of the best of the best, and I've got confidence in our boards when it comes to literary criticism.
Pohatu: I like the range of appeal we have here. There's insane epic poem/action post, creativity and fun dialogue post, old-school star quality post, beautiful language post, and dick eating post. Since most people who aren't me have zero taste, I'd be inclined to say dick eating post is likely to win, but I'll have enough faith in humanity to bank on insane epic poem/action post (the Helen one) instead.
SV: Going to go with "One, what to you see?" for this one. That was some of the most gorgeous prose I've read in a while and a great example of the eloquence that we've come to expect from a Biscuit RP post.
And the winner is… Floriferous! Whatever. Eating dick > floriferous language.
Best Premise Last year's winner: Award not present The noms: Luxury Train Ride | The Case of the Burgled Boullogne | Ishkabibble | Obscured Truth | Through the Arras | Radiance | Light and Darkness Collide | It's All Fun and Games And the winner is… Through the Arras! It's kind of hard to top "stuff that dreams are made of" in terms of creative-source-of-premise. Even if the RP in question is more of an anthology of tangentially related stories.
Best Plot Last year's winner: Award not present The noms: The Case of the Burgled Boullogne | Stray Dogs | Emet | Gasoline | Ishkabibble And the winner is…Ishkabibble! Okay, I guess Ishkabibble as a household term would also include "and is somewhat good i guess" somewhere in there.
Best RP Cast Last year's winner: Award not present The noms: The Case of the Burgled Boullogne | Radiance | Luxury Train Ride | Obscured Truth | Light and Darkness Collide And the winner is…Luxury Train Ride! LTR probably won not because it had the best cast, but because it has all of RP's character in it. All the characters. All of them.
Best Atmosphere Last year's winner: Award not present The noms: Ishkabibble | The Case of the Burgled Boullogne | Obscured Truth | Gasoline | Emet | Chasing the Mad Rabbit | Crystal Part 2 | Last Best Hope And the winner is…Emet!
Boy I really wish we could continue this creepy crawly mansion going. Stupid food. Maybe Yoon needs to hop on in and cure it or something and refuse the crumpets.
Best Fight Last year's winner: Miko vs. Rick, Summoner Style The noms: Scar and Lucas get medieval on some flunkies | Nopcsa vs Sikes | Vincent vs Everyone | Prime vs Nopcsa on LTR | Mandelbrot vs Lucas and Scar | Julia vs Felix
Elliot: Again I want to big myself up and say Vincent Vs Everyone but... bah, Julia Vs Felix was so much better than any of the above. A battle of wits instead of swords, it's refreshing, interesting and wonderful.
Lee: Scar and Lucas get medieval on some flunkies, sadly will win this.
Pohatu: I don't know. Vincent vs. Everyone is a big contender, but maybe diluted across too many posts to claim the win. I'd take Nopcsa vs. Prime, which, by virtue of being in LTR, has enough exposure for a good chance here.
SV: The nominations were full of great fights, but the Nopcsa vs. Sikes fight is the one that really caught my eye. Lee's development of Nopcsa over the past year has done a lot to make this previously overlookable character a pretty big deal, and this fight really showcases that.
And the winner is…A tie between Mandelbrot vs Lucas/Scar and Vincent vs everyone! It would have been interesting to see the Julia vs Felix mind-fight get this award, but I pretty much knew it wasn't going to happen when I nominated it. It doesn't have fists! or explosions! or energy balls! Then over here on the other side, we've got crazy people trying to cut crazy people and high levels bashing brains. On top of that, MvLS provided another bit of insight into the enigmatic Mandelbrot's brain pan while bringing the ever-loved Lucas/Scar pairing, all while keeping things tense and tight. I would talk more about how great this other tier of high levels are beating each other up with VvE, but I still haven't gotten around to reading LaDC. I'm such a good host.
Best Plot Twist Last year's winner: Rie’s attempted suicide in the End Game finale The noms: Giguere gets freaky | Cesare and Prime go at it | Mandelbrot's a girl, baby | ch00bs brings a male character to an all female topic | It's actually Rhometer | No ethnic boys, you are the demons | Vinnie and co are actually redshirts | Rie smiles | Ender is alive?
AND ONE MORE FOR THE EXPERTS Elliot: A difficult decision! Granted, "It's actually Rhometer" isn't surprising if you notice pattern recognition, and "Mandelbrot's a girl, baby" isn't surprising if you know choobs. I think I'm forced to say "No ethnic boys, you are the demonds" because of reasons I've just said.
Lee: Ender is alive? Takes it. Too much name recognition to go any other way, except maybe the redshirts one.
Pohatu: I hate all these choices. All of them. I think I voted for Giguere gets freaky but there's probably no one reading Emet (again, stupidly). I guess Mandelbrot's a girl, baby will probably come out on top considering that people are reading Ishkabibble and possibly a lot of them didn't even catch that feminine pronoun the first time they read Scene Two. So they'll be all what gotta click that link oh WHAT gotta vote for this.
SV: It was no surprise that Giguere got all weird, because he exuded strange from the very beginning. Cesare and Prime are both scrappy, so that's nothing too special. The other stuff is surprising but nothing too ground-breaking. But...Ender maybe returning? That's pretty darn significant.
And the winner is…No ethnic boys, you are the demons!
I'm surprised that half the experts latched onto Ender returning. But maybe that's just because they don't actually know what I'm planning here? I also suppose this isn't the time to be dropping cryptic hints about the RP. WOOPS.
Most Creative RP Last year's winner: Award not present The noms: Radiance | The Case of the Burgled Boullogne | Ishkabibble | Through the Arras | Head Games | Obscured Truth And the winner is…Through the Arras! I don't even know what Head Games is doing here. It's a pretty straightforward "shit goes down, let's go check it out" RP that happens to have some implications for things. Everything else, though, totally fair game. But like I said earlier, you can't really get much more crazy than the fountain of ideation.

Aw thanks guys! I'm really tickled Floriferous won.
And hey, nice work there, Obscured Truth! That was a genuine surprise. I guess more people are keeping up with it than I thought. It's hilarious that we all thought Boullogne would take it. And then Boullogne turned around and took the next one.
P.S. You know how we're going to need to settle that Best Fight tie.
Mandelbrot vs. Lucas & Scar vs. Vincent vs. everyone else.
