As I passingly mentioned before, Emily and Aquara both actually started as character in SWRP, and then moved into ORP. Aquara remained pretty much the same, but Emily shifted VERY much, as I summed up above.
And since I can't bring up this fact enough: SWRP takes place in the same universe as both Ascension (Plucked Version) and In A Moment. Meaning it's entirely possible that the group could encounter Seraphina at some point, and BloodWolf at another, if I was feeling sadistic/retarded.

I would also be happy to take up Julia if Choobs were interested (and provided a bit more image reference, although his offhand comment that Kirihara from DtB resembles her with paler skin helped me a lot to visualize Julia).

I have an awesome idea for a Julia picture, but I have to do it after Ish finishes. Though if you want to draw her, go ahead.
Kirihara with a tan is probably a good starting point for you. And I guess shorten the hair to something slightly more practical when sitting down to interview someone. And when running away from monsters.
I suppose she'd have some reading glasses or something.
Possibly put a simple cross around her neck. Gotta keep up those Abrahamic faith protections even if she's not a regular church goer. Just in case. Then again, that cross would probably be under her shirt.
No, Pohatu, that is not a hint to draw Julia with no shirt on. No matter how much you want it.

By mentioning shirt but not pants, Choobs implies pantsless Julia to be the desired drawing.

Natalie and Emily. I guess this is from before the days when Emily was a master chef. She's... She's still practicing her baking at this point, it looks like. Sorry to Clicker if she thinks this cake does Emily an injustice, but once the image was in my head I couldn't resist. As for Natalie, she came out looking a little wirier than I intended; I wanted to play up the contrast between her figure and Emily's, but it looks like I ended up practically giving her Rie's physique. Oh well. Someday I will not suck at drawing face-on views. In the meantime, here is a picture of Julia. I think she ended up straying a bit from the conception of Julia I had in my head, but on the other hand, she translates to my mental conception of Masquerade a bit more plausibly, so you know, tradeoffs. Mostly I just like how the hand holding the pen came out. Oh, Julia and Blaise. So thoughtfully sexy. They should hook up. In case there is still any lingering confusion about which Giarrettiera brother is which, they are presented here in alphabetical order. I think I got each one down pretty well, but I'm concerned that they don't look much like brothers, even taking into account the age dispersion. No matter. I guess if you lined up Sonny, Fredo and Michael shoulder to shoulder, you probably wouldn't assume they were brothers either. No, Charles Tanner is not suddenly a blind man, he's just wearing some rather dated-looking shades. That box in his breast pocket was originally meant to hold a deck of cards, but then I scaled up the card he's holding and forgot to scale up the deck before inking. So now I guess it's a matchbook. By far the hardest of these eight drawings, and probably the one I'm still the least satisfied with. It's Yoon Mangjeol, of Ishkabibble cutscene fame, who's indirectly behind about a third of the ruckus at the Hotel Ansonia if you're measuring by characters. I like how the scarf came out, at least. Prime. The RPer in question offered that I could draw the character in his LTR garb (i.e. a dress suit), but I declined on the grounds that I was all formal attired-out at this point. Actually, I'm happy with how this drawing came out. A departure from my usual content, but I think I managed to preserve the Pohatu aesthetic even when applying it to this unlikely recipient. What are you talking about? This is Rick. It's just a slightly older Rick. That's definitely what it is. Nothing to see here, move along. CAUTION: These last two drawings are previews for upcoming characters of mine. If you don't want spoilers... then keep scrolling down anyway 'cuz you know you want to.Shouta. Fuggin'. Minamoto. In case you were wondering, yes, that is a Wiimote in his right hand. And yes, that is a ridiculous modified pistol that he's not even holding right in his left hand. His name is Shouta fuggin' Minamoto, and you better remember that shit. Masha (Marya) and Misha (Mikhail) Kolychev. No they are not married, they're brother and sister. Unlike Shouta, they're not booked to debut in Ishkabibble, so I'm looking for an opportunity to bring these two into RP. It'll be worth it. Trust me, they're cool. So, altogether, that's one more post in the rp token each from Lee, Clicker, Choobs and Prime. Technically Lee requested the G-Bros and Tanner too, but I'll give them to him free because I would have probably drawn them by now anyway. The rest are on the house.

OH MY GOD HAHAHAHAHA I LOVE THE GIARRETTIERA BROTHERS!!! Look at those amazing people!!
I also LOVE Shouta's face. The Kolychev's are perfectly darling. And Yoon is absolutely incredible...I saw her and went wtf, my brother is gonna take all of my illustration jobs.

Ya dood, Yoon is one of the best ones up there. The facial expression, the pose playing with the glass, the scratchy dark lines, etc. The only issue I have with it is the left leg which makes me feel awkward.

also i really like your style pohatu; you may not be a trained artist (unless you are) like your sibling but you clearly understand how to make distinctive and expressive faces.
ninja edit to stop unneeded triplepost: Masha (Marya) keeps reminding me of mitzi from lackadaisy. i think its the round face + a similar pose or something that i can't quite place.

Natalie is great. I love the detailing with the jeans and the hair is a really great take on her style. The way it sweeps behind her head with some really angry looking lines reminds me of a building storm or something. Makes her look dangerous, dynamic, even when not moving. The figure is pretty close to spot on, really. The only complaint I could even begin to levy is that the line along the right side of her face makes her look a bit older than she is. Beyond that, it's pretty much a perfect "Relaxation Scene" Natalie. I'm very glad you went with the quieter scene, since it gives a look at Natalie we don't really get. (All my sprites are in full-on ass kicking mode, and Kevin's sketch is "Preparing to commence unloading whupass.")
Emily bugged me a lot more when I first saw her, but now I realize that it's just that her neck is not quite the right size/position. Other than that, though, you really got her spot on. The down to earth, somewhat serene expression with a note of kiddy glee, the posture and proportions... Emily really fits your style, because she's such an odd character. Since you accentuate the personality of a character, it really is a nice symbiosis. You bring out more personality than would ordinarily be captured in a drawing, and she allows you to really bring out your distinctive style.
Julia is quite a bit different than I was expecting her but still pleasant. She's mostly business, but still has that edge of potential sexiness. The thoughtful expression really is the thing that makes her, though.
Now, I wasn't clear on the relationship of the brothers exactly (are they half or full brothers?) But it's easy to see them as brothers once you look at Massimo as the "link", since he shares Nico's brow and Cesare's chin. I'd have to say Massimo looks the best, IMO, though I have a personal preference for Nico's design.
Something about Tanner made me think John Waters. Kinda odd, but it's probably just mustache. Otherwise, very nice capturing of his personality. He's... suspicious seeming, but at the same time looks harmless enough. (Personally, I like to think as the larger card just being conjured, though he acted like he was drawing it from the deck. Fun with the arcane!)
Yoon is terrific. The wistful pose, alluring and yet distant... Just about as perfect for the character as you'll get. I'll let the other reviews of her speak for me.
Prime is a successful try at something new. I was curious on how you'd pull off a very fantastic look like his, and it worked out well. The detail is what really pulls it together. The small cuts and nicks in his garb, the squint... Yeah, fantastic about covers this.
Shouta is awesome. That expression is the best I think I've seen you do, full on crazy and swaggering but still with that sly edge to him. I really like the suit design, too. Those lapels (?) are really distinctive and give him a note of video-game style design without going too far. (Surprised at the lack of belts and zippers, but I do think you implied he was more MMOs and FPSes than JRPGs.)
Personally, I think Masha and Misha is the best drawing you've put up. They really blend nicely and complement eachother, and the expressions are spot on for their projected personalities. I love the work on the fur for Masha's outfit, and the way you drew her hair. Very realistic while remaing stylized.

Oh my god you guys you're all wonderful. Asmo, it's interesting that Masha reminds you of Mitzi. I can't give a link because the website isn't loading for me for some reason, but you know that wintery triptych in the gallery with Sedgewick & Mitzi, Viktor & Ivy and Rocky & Freckle chilling out in the snow? That was an influence in deciding how to portray Masha and Misha, although it was really the Viktor & Ivy part that I was thinking of. EDIT: This one.

Throwing my two cents in because Pohatu didn't think we'd both be satisfied with his sketch of Prime.
So, so, soooooooo, very wrong.

I'm not sure whether that means that my depiction of Prime is wrong (gah!) or that the assumption that we wouldn't both like it was wrong (whoo!).

Clicker's verdict on Emily: The expression, hair, and outfit are about right, but her face isn't that round and she's much slimmer and less curvy than that. Not quite as severe as Nat in that pic, but closer to that than what we had reckoned.
