Ah, the obligatory collegiate existential crisis. Your roommate needs to revisit his childhood (or at least younger years) and remember what he used to love and then do it again. I had to write a personal letter of motivation for a study abroad application recently, and it forced me to remember why I came to college in the first place, and what I hoped to do with my life. It made me remember that my old goal in life was to be entertaining, to be a source of lulz. Really, everyone is scared of death. It's the final unknown. I personally find solace in believing in a higher power. My friends find solace in knowing that humans are just animals and they can do whatever they want because there's no afterlife. So on one end of the spectrum, with religion or some higher cause, one believes that every action is for some greater good. On the other end of the spectrum, one just lives it up and enjoys life while one has it. Also, fear of death tends to stem from feeling that you haven't lived a full life. Maybe you haven't dated a celebrity; maybe you haven't cured cancer. Whatever. He's young. Hell, he has yet to reach his prime. Plenty of time left to realize that life goal of banging a goat. Lastly, weed and alcohol are awesome.

Dear Choobles,
I keep getting the run-around on all the job applications I call to check up on. My prospects are looking bleak. Any tips on getting called back and/or advice in general?
P.S. I've been sleeping much better, thank you.

I've been sleeping much better, thank you. Currently, the problem is the economy. As usual. It sucks, people don't want to hire, etc etc. Best advice is to flaunt what you got (good school, good interpersonal skills, whatever) and then be persistent about applications. Also, you could try giving out blow jobs.

She made me put a hole in the wall from the headboard pounding against it.
What food do you go eat when you don't have anything to make at home and are tired of burgers and sandwiches?

I've come to the understanding that I'm doing nothing with me life. What should I do to end this string of nothingness?

Dear choobs,
I stepped my work-out-like-thing up today and the muscles in my thighs are angry at me as a result. Obviously, they'll stop when they get used to it. But what would you recommend doing to help with this and to keep it from happening again in the near-ish future?

But what would you recommend doing to help with this and to keep it from happening again in the near-ish future? Painkillers (aleve, tylenol, ibuprofen, codine, morphine) are the easy ways out. Stretching and proper warm-ups/cool-downs if you want to do it properly.

Dear Choobs,
After seeing a certain pro-choice group on facebook that repeatedly referred to abortion as "a woman's reproductive right". This has made me start to wonder something; what are and what happened to the reproductive rights of men? Why is it that a man has no right to even know if the woman he is (or was) with is pregnant? Why can't he have a say in whether or not the woman can abort the pregnancy? Why is it that fathers typically lose custody when the pair split up? Even when other factors, such as excessive smoking and drinking are known only to happen to the mother?
Please, if possible, give me an argument other than "it develops within the woman's body". I realize that, and I realize that it's widely considered that the mother is more nurturing that the father, and that it's considered better for the development of the child.
Also, did I use the semicolon properly?

Also, did I use the semicolon properly? Custody laws are bullshit, it's true. But the right to abort is a woman's right due probably completely to the male lack of a uterus. Men will never harbor small people in their bodies, so it isn't really their place. Also, you should have committed to the whole colon. <3, SV Pseudo-choobsP.S. Why this abortion fixation all of the sudden? Is there something you need to tell us? =p Dear choobs, Will you forgive me for masquerading as you and answering B-dubbs's question? Also, shall I FedEx myself overnight to your super happy fun time 21st birthday tomorrow?

Also, did I use the semicolon properly? Abortion is a sin against heaven. jk! Anyway, the reproductive right of a man is to decide whether or not his seed reaches someone else, aka use of condoms or vasectomies etc. This stems from the fact, much to your chagrin, that the organs belong to the respective person. Besides all that, to answer all the other sexist questions, it's because of societal standards. Everyone knows this is how the system works, and if anyone ever tries to dismantle the system, the status quo comes to burn them at the stake. For example, in this case, if a man started to campaign for more rights to his offspring, then the feminists would go all like "YOU HATE WOMEN AND WANT TO SUBJUGATE US" and that never ends well because half the population will agree with that statement. I would have personally used a colon in that instance. Dear choobs, Will you forgive me for masquerading as you and answering B-dubbs's question? Also, shall I FedEx myself overnight to your super happy fun time 21st birthday tomorrow? It's ok, V already answered questions for me. Also, I decided that actually having internet people at a party would be awkward.
