Lest I leave Laksha out in the cold, she gets Aganju by Bebel Gilberto. This time there's no excuse for confounding her Indian heritage with a Brazillian song, but let's just look past nationalities and recognize the Universal Music of Language. Anyway Q knows this one. She'll approve. What a damned good song. But (again, Q will agree) you can't go wrong with some Cirque du Soleil music, and an old favorite of ours, Egypte from the show Mystere, will do nicely for Yoon for the moment. It's got the right level of exotic intrigue. HELL YES!!! YES YES YES OH YES. That totally adds to my image of Yoon.

I really like that song, too, so I might've just shoehorned a character into it. Though to be fair, the mysterious plucked strings and somber backing kinda fit. This might be a better song, at least the first 1:30 of the song. Slightly demented pianos and a seemingly peaceful thing going on.

Chill! I like it. Kooza, one of the latest by Cirque du Soleil, has pretty much become my PRP soundtrack. Practically all of the tracks work really well for either Laksha or Ignacio. Royaume as a battle theme for Laksha, for instance. And Cabaret Sata for Ignacio. Come to think of it, Alambre Alto would work really well for a battle between the two of them. Of course none of these approach the funky awesomeness of Superstar I. But that's for Ganesh and Ignacio's Croagunk (name pending).

Listen to this. F*cking listen to it. This is Yoon Mangjeol's theme, forever. If I ever say differently, it is because future me is stupid. Present me knows what's up.

That is just ironically adorable. By which I mean that its irony is adorable, not that its adorability is ironic. It's not ironic when things related to Vieve are adorable. It's expected. Here we have, neatly encapsulated in music form, the unholy trinity of Terrian, Nico and Shouta. Terrian's the piano, Nico's the strings and bandoleon, and Shouta is the hells of phat beat. It works out pretty nicely. Thanks, Bajofondo, my new favorite band! Thanks for everything.

I don't get the irony Dawnchilds are children of the dawn. Sun in the morning would make sense for them. Also, I've been listening to LEMS for like half a year now, and I just now pried my ears away long enough to post the song. PS. I just downloaded that Bajofondo album. Thanks waffles!

I'm too lazy to re-read all of this, so I am just gonna post it and if someone else already said it then I'll just delete this later. Nat and Rie

Now that Channery exists as an actual character "on the page" (not that that stopped me with Shouta before), I can post her music! Basically Zero 7 is her theme band. Even the songs with lyrics seem to fit her wonderfully. The two numbers that evoke her best, though, I think, (a) have no lyrics and (b) have lyrics only in the first minute-ish... Look Up and Your Place. Both totally worth a listen.

Gotan Project knows how to name their pieces. They've got one which is both musically and nominally awesome for my cast in general, and they've got another which is both musically and nominally brilliant background music for Boullogne's conversation between Renard and Channery, and for the dynamic between those two in general.

If Rie wanted to be more ethnic and tango-y, this would be her theme song. Infiltrado

iknorite?
Since it has too much passion for Rie, I think I'll just keep that theme song for myself.
