OOC: Couldn't think of a name, Prime suggested this. Genius.

“Stand ready,” a sharp voice called into the dark night. It was cold; a harsh wind blew across the Adept world as troops stood ready to start their attack. They held torches and weapons, all to help with the destruction of their target: the place they had send one of their own to help once, Earth.
Fyeron stood at the head of the group, his dark hair blowing in the wind. He was fastening his leather armor, which was of course black as night, tighter. He had been ordered to lead the attack -- a great honor, an order from the King himself. He wanted this mission, this attack to go smoothly.
“When the portal opens, you attack, Earth will be crippled. Burn everything, kill everyone, take anything of use, and secure the town for the king,” he screamed across the army, thousands of troops ready to die for their planet. He turned to look at the arch of power, the artifact that held the portal safely and connected the two worlds. Smirking slightly, he held his black blade up. A thin beam shot from it toward the portal. It stopped dead center before bursting out in a massive explosion of energy.
Fyeron stood laughing as the army, his army buckled from impact. “Now go and do your King's bidding,” he called, throwing his arm forward to usher in the beginning of Earth's fall.

Aurora sat at home reading, his mind at peace for the present. He was having a holiday from all things evil and it really was doing wonders for his spiritual side. He looked across the table to his mother Kuri; she seemed to be pleased that he was around a lot more. She liked having him around safe, and not "out there dying" as she always said.
He went back to his book and began to read again when he felt it: the fabric of space being ripped to pieces again. He had just fixed it last week, who the hell was vandalizing it now. Although on holiday, Aurora checked, pushing forward on the energy. He recognized the signature -- his home world.
Aurora stood, his robe and sword morphing onto him instantly.
“Must go mother, the portal has opened,” he stated simply, and dissolved out of view, to find friends who would help check the problem with him.

Fire and flame and death, all around them, the citizens of this small town ran in terror as their friends and family were cut down before them, their houses were burned to the ground. Supernatural beings had come through a strange portal, it had appeared in the middle of town an hour ago, wizards and warriors had come through, killing and burning everything they came across.
Fyeron stood in the middle, the town’s warriors surrounding him blade points, pointing towards him as to make him stop.
“You’re the leader of these freaks?” One spat out before he could help himself, he wanted the attack on his home to stop, his family were already dead one of the first to be killed.
“Freaks?” Fyeron enquired, “Is that what you think we are human?” He spat as he brang up his sword. The guards seemed to think this as an act of aggression and charged forward, attempting to impale Fyeron on all sides. The Adept jumped clean of them, twisting in mid air to land behind one of them. He shoved his sword through his back, while turning to thrust his palm at the next who had turned to see his friend fall, the orb connected with his chest throwing him backwards and killing him.
Fyeron pulled his sword from the deceased back and circled the last, he ran forward slashing downwards, his blade meeting the last guards, the clash of steel echoed as they battled, slash after slash, parry after parry Fyeron smirked, this man had an ounce of skill, but Fyeron was finished playing he spun round, aiming a cross slash carefully at his opponents neck, the guards head fell to the ground his body standing for seconds afterwards before that too fell. Fyeron pivoted around sheathing his sword as he did.
“Secure the town, the King comes.” He shouted to his troops who were busy securing the town. They had taken control of a number of prominent buildings and had set patrols around the perimeters of town as a safety precaution. Soon the bulk of the army would arrive and the workers and they could set up defences.
The portal once again exploded with light, and Fyeron crouched to his knee lowering his head as his majesty stepped through.
“Your majesty, the town is secure and there were no survivors just as you ordered,” Fyeron said. The King turned to him.
“Good, now go and help with the preparations for the army’s arrival.” The King ordered as he swept away towards the Town Hall, where his throne would be. Fyeron nodded and left.

Aurora watched the warrior defeat three of his enemies, Aurora hadn’t attacked, there could be more of them than he could see and he didn’t want to cause to much attention and get into a situation he couldn’t get out of.
He had already sent messages to all those he had met and knew would fight alongside him, he hoped some would come.
This could be the end. For him, and for the planet and that was one thing he couldn’t allow.
