"How are the repairs going?" Fratley asked Dan, the Burmecianin charge of the castle restoration. "Nearly finished now," Dan replied, swishing his tail triumphantly. "We just need to finish the throne room and we'll be done." "That's brilliant," Fratley said, smiling. A month ago, Fratley could only dream about rebuilding Burmecia to its former glory. However, he had stumbled across an old hidden spot in Burmecia territory. It was designed as a safety spot, where all the Burmecians could hide in case of danger. It turned out half of the city had managed to make it there, and were living there unaware of the fact that the war had ended. It was because of Fratley that they left the hideaway and moved back into the city. The started the repairwork immediately. A month later, the only thing left was the throne room.
"By the way, Frat, the king was wondering what happened to tha old battleship under the castle?" Dan asked, snapping Fratley out of his daze. "Oh, sorry... The Drakanon? Parked just outside the city," Fratley said, shrugging. "Oh, good," Dan said. "It's not like we'll need it again, though."
Just as Dan said this, there was an explosion at the Burmecian Pass.

"So there's a bounty on this Fratley guy's head?" Agatio said into his mobile. "Sounds like it," Vincent's voice came throygh the phone. "Right, so where was he last seen?" Agatio asked, setting it to loudspeaker and putting the volume right up. "The Burmecian Pass, actually," Vincent said. Agatio made two shapes with his hands. He gestured at a nearby rock, and it froze over. "Seems he wanted to visit his old home." "Fair enough," Agatio replied, tightening his ponytail and bandages. He raised his fists to chest level, and threw two punches, moving incredibly quickly. "Hold on... Oh no..." "Oh no?" Agatio asked, kicking the air.
"You know those two factions, Pure Sphere and Black Rogues?" Vincent said. "Yeah, what about them?" Agatio took about twenty steps away from the frozen rock. Then, he ran right at it and launched a powerful, momentum-packed punch. It smashed straight through the rock. "Well, the Pure Sphere are human purists, aren't they? Fratley's race are Burmecian. Burmecians look like human-rat-hybrids. And the Pure Sphere have just gone straight through the Burmecian Pass, by force," Vincent explained. "It's the perfect time to attack, then," Agatio said, adjusting his bandages. "If everyone's caught up in the fighting, no one'll look at us twice." "Just be careful, alright? Pure Sphere might go after you, too," Vincent said, sounding slightly concerned. "I'm only human, I'm not like you and Yoshi," Agatio said. "They shouldn't go after me." "Maybe. We'll meet up with you there later, just to draw attention away from you and Fratley," Vincent said. "Just so you know, Yoshi isn't gonna be your friend after this, he likes Frat." "I'll live somehow. Tell him Frat was plotting his demise," Agatio replied, grinning. "I'll come back in one piece, don't worry," he added, hanging up. He made another couple of shapes with his hands, and then vanished.

'Just a little further...' Setsuko told herself, edging forwards through the sky. The thick clouds weren't helping her flight or her speed, and the heights she had previously resorted to had left her short of breath and impatient. Other than that, she was only anxious to see an old friend.
Everything had been rather quiet world-wide. No major wars, armageddon or even a vanished civilisation. All in all, a boring place to be. Sets had spent the last few months in Japan, training by herself in preparation for something. Something she had felt coming for a long time. The world couldn't keep quiet for too long, after all. Eventually, it had to explode in a fury of weapons, powers and various other means of destruction. And so it had. The arrival of the two factions in her place of solitude had brought the end to her peaceful musings, and she had been forced out of the area by a small group of Pure Sphere extremists. Apparently, they didn't like her way of exploding their weapons on them. As a result, she had spent a few days trying to find a place she had been to only once before: Burmecia. A place where, it was rumoured, Sir Fratley had returned to.
Sets looked down out of a gap in the clouds, and saw the mountains leading up to the country itself. Smiling, she flew lower, punching a hole in the clouds as she plummeted towards the ground. Just as it looked too late, she slowed down dramatically, and touched down with a feather-light touch. Right next to a familiar ship. She patted the sides fondly, and moved round it, trying to tell if Frat was inside. No clues. Oh well, she shrugged, and walked towards the city.
And then the explosion erupted behind her. She swung round immediately, cane already in hand, her eyes darting to see what had caused the detonation. They fell upon a large group of armed troups moving towards her and the ship. Swearing quietly, she sent a few small orbs there way, to hinder them as much as stop them. She turned and ran toward the city gates, waving her arms around, trying to catch someone's attention. Giving up on this tactic, she took off abruptly. Within seconds she had spotted Fratlet, and landed beside him. 'Frat!' she said, every ounce as serious as her tone would suggest. 'You have Pure Sphere on your tail. You've got to get everyone ready!'

A seemingly ordinary girl walked through a door and towards Fratley. She seemed to be about 17 or 18. Her black cloak trailed behind her as she approached the head of the castle restoration, revealing more nondescript black clothing. She seemed mostly normal.
Except she literally walked through the door, because it was closed.
"Howdy, Fratley. Nice place ya got here," Rie said while fishing for something in her pocket. She smiled and pulled out a crumpled piece of paper and held it up, showing Fratley's face and a money sign underneathe it. "Apparently there's a bounty on your head. Now, this bounty ain't that great now, but the real interesting thing is that the people who showed this thing to me are allied with those guys out there, with the big robots and nasty dislike for, well, that," she said, motioning to Fratley's tail.
"The thing is, since I'm full human, they got nothin' against me. But right now, I'm in a grand ol' castle, and I couldn't help but notice the shiney things ya got lying around here. Now, I wonder what, exactly, could cause me to ruin a perfectly good apathy-apathy relationship between me and them, so that I could help y'all fend them off..." the bounty hunter said, her grin widening even more.

"Frat! You have Pure Sphere on your tail. You've got to get everyone ready!"
Fratley's weapon was already in his hand, just from hearing Sets shout 'Frat'. Pure Sphere... He had heard much about them. They were human purists, adamant about destroying anyone who had anything supernatural about them. And if they were here...
"...Now, I wonder what, exactly, could cause me to ruin a perfectly good apathy-apathy relationship between me and them, so that I could help y'all fend them off..."
"Your presence in the city is enough to make them want to kill you,"Fratley said, his voice sounding very cold. "However, if I have to buy your services to help defend the city, I shall. I am sure the king will see to a suitable fee, unless you object and would much rather just try to kill me now?"
He didn't wait for a responce, and immediately left the castle, preparing to defend his homeplace. He was joined by the other Dragon Knights, and the Dragon Knights in training. There were only ten of them, including Fratley, but he prayed that they were enough. Fratley jumped up to one of the highest points of the city. "Burmecia!" He yelled. "The time of war is on us again. Everyone who can wield a weapon and will fight for our land, go to the front gate and don't let Pure Sphere into the city! Everyone else, hide! And don't let them find you!"
Fratley jumped from the pillar, and landed outside of he city. Up ahead, he saw the Pure Sphere army. Hundreds... no, thousands of them, all armed to the teeth, each one willing to murder just to see their excuse for a dream fulfilled. Fratley saw the war machines, the robots, the weapons. Everything about them said "murder". Fratley raised his hand, and his fellow Dragon Knights stopped at his sides, forming a wall.
"... For Burmecia!" Fratley yelled, and charged at the incoming army.

Sets glanced after him, rolling her eyes before taking off again. 'Always for Burmecia. Why not for bunnies? Or chocolate?' she muttered, drawing the sword at her back as well as having the cane out. Hovering above what was probably about to become a bloodied battlefield, she sent wave after wave of pure energy into the weapons, forming the orbs she had become so familiar with over the years. But this time she kept them within the weapons, building them up further until the two instruments glowed with the energy they could not hold. Only then did Setsuko release them, aiming for the larger robots' legs or whatever kept them from falling over. 'Die, purists!' she screamed, preparing smaller amounts of energy for release on the troops themselves.

Rie shrugged. Kings were generally better with money than scientists, so she decided it would be best if she helped out. Plus, while in one of the Pure Sphere bases, she just couldn't help but hate them. At least now she had a valid reason to kill some of them.
The girl phased completely into the physical realm. Although she had the ability to flit in between a few dimensions that were closely aligned with this one, her body had been optimized for the human, material plane, and the cross dimensional forces never exactly balanced. So basically, she couldn't move as quickly or push as strongly in any dimension other than the physical. And at this peak, she was pushing 70km/h for a good run.
As she neared the gates, Rie pulled out her rifle and squatted behind a large rock. She rested the barrel on her makeshift stand and took aim at the foot soldiers, quickly snapping off shots. Though the giant mechs were the biggest concern, mass infantry, when ignored, was always deadly.

Just as the noise of battle threatened to become overwhelming it was all drowned out by the sound of the Drakanons thusters as they propelled it into the air.
"I should have applyed for the pilots job, this thing hauls ass!" Damien shouted to nobody in particular over the roar of the huge engines that powered the ship. The engineer drifted his hands across the controls until he found the switch he was looking for. A panel on his left lit up as he flicked the switch.
"Machine cannons armed, preparing to fire."
Outside the ship two huge machine cannons either side of the enormous craft burst in to life, spinning at an immense speed. Damien squeezed the trigger on the left control stick. Twenty or so feet below a pure sphere mech crumpled to the ground as hundreds of huge rounds tore through it.
"Hey there captain, if you can hear me the Drakanon is armed and ready to go. Just give the order and we'll show these guys what Burmecia has to offer." Damien called through his headset, hoping that Fratley would have his earpiece in.

"Get the gunners to their posts, and order them to take out the machines," Fratley said into his mouth-mike, the one attached to his back tooth. He jumped into the air, and gripped his halberd tightly, looking down for whoever the leader was. Whoever he was, he was certainly well hidden. Fratley would have to take potshots until the leader made himself known. The Dragon Knight dropped down, spear first, and stabbed the blade through one of the nearer soldiers. "Gatta, Ramir, Galcia, fall back and raise the protection circle around the city. Then get back here and help out," Fratley ordered his fellow Dragon Knights. The three other fully trained knights all nodded in unison, and jumped to within a hundred meters of the city, forming a triangle. Fratley spun his spear, and stabbed it into another soldier.
"Vince," Agatio said into his mobile. "This is madness, they have an army against about ten Burmecians. How are they holding?" "You'd be surprised. Choosing Frat as a bounty's a pretty bold move," Vincent replied. "Me and Yoshi'll be there in about twenty minutes. If you want Frat, you may as well help them out and then try to claim the bounty." "Right, will do," Agatio replied, hanging up. He was stood on the edge of a cliff, surveying the battle. Fratley was doing quite a good job. It seemed he had some help, someone who was firing from a rifle, and another who was throwing around energy. They needed more help, though. It was a massacre, or it would be soon. Agatio nodded, and ran down the side of the cliff, tightening his bandages as he went.
He launched himself off the cliff-face, and landed nicely on one of the mechs, apparently unnoticed. He climbed along the shoulders and worked his was to the cockpit. He was hanging upside down, looking for an easy way to break the glass. "Gonna have to punch it," he muttered, drawing his fist back. He smashed the glass, and climbed into the cockpit. The three pilots all stood up and aimed at Agatio. Agatio looked around again, for something connected to the main power unit. No such luck. Before any of the guards could fire at him, he darted around the cockpit and knocked the pilots out with one solid punch each.
"Ok, there has to be an off button or something," Agatio said, fiddling with the controls. Without warning, the missile launchers went off and fired randomly. Luckily, all of the missiles went into the army. Unfortunately, they still only took out a fraction of the soldiers. Agatio sighed, and punched the contol pannel, putting his fist right through it and ripping out some wires. He quickly jumped out of the mech, and got clear of the blast radius. The mech exploded, but took out nothing with it.
"This is ridiculous," Agatio muttered, cutting through the army.

'Look out down there!' called out Sets, firing another orb near to where Agatio was. She didn't want to hurt someone who was helping, after all. Looking back at Frat, she called out, 'There's too many of them! We won't be able to hold them off for much longer if we don't get anyone else!'
Meanwhile, a solemn figure dressed fully in black, holding a strict egyptian black wood staff in its right hand, stood on a lonely outcrop. It was wearing some sort of long, flowing cape, with a thick hood up and covering the face entirely. It watched the proceedings silently, staring intently at the small area that was engaged in battle. It could see that they were overwhelmed. It could sense that soon, the pure force of numbers would be enough to overwhelm the Burmecians and their allies. It could also sense something, no, someone with power close by. And approaching. Sighing, the figure jumped down from its outcrop, hopping nimbly down the mountain face. Holding the staff in front of it, a dark balloon caught the shadow by its feet, lifting it up to survey the battlefield from a bird's eye view.
Setsuko caught the movement to her right, glancing over as she released another glowing attack towards a mecha unit. 'We've got company,' she muttered, smiling. Whoever it was, they weren't going to be liked by Pure Sphere. For one thing, they were floating. And for another, they were clearly gifted in some way. Otherwise they wouldn't go to the trouble of concealing their face. Or perhaps, just maybe, it was a friend. It wouldn't be the first time someone unexpected's turned up in my life, she thought to herself, and flew over. 'Name yourself!' she called out, dodging a stray bullet from below. A second one hit her in the foot, making her wince.
The figure waved the staff seemingly uselessly, but a second later the bullet, covered in blood, dropped from Sets' foot. The wound healed itself, leaving the girl staring at the cloaked figure. 'A name?' it said, its voice harsh. It was impossible to tell whether it was male or female, but it sounded somehow young and old at the same time. 'My name... Is Rawt.'

"Ok, gunners get to your stations and take out every mech unit that you can!" Damien shouted over the ships intercom. The scene below was insane, bullets, rockets and every other kind of projectile imaginable was being fired at someone or other.
"Get the shields up before we become the target of those missiles." The makeshift pilot called to one of the crew behind him. Unfortunatly the command came too late as a large explosion blew a gaping hole in the hull.
"Sir, the ship has taken a direct hit. If the shields go offline we won't be able to keep the Drakanon in the air. The shield is acting as part of the hull and keeping it stable for now." A voice came through Damien's earpiece.
"No more messing around, Gunners, I want each of you hitting a mech at all times. If you take one out go for another, do not hesitate." The engineer commanded, he then turned his headset to Fratleys frequency. "Captain, we've taken a pretty serious hit, the ship is holding up but if the shields go we'll hit the ground quick and damn hard."

"I've got that covered," Agatio said to Fratley as he passed. He threw the earpiece back to Fratley, having somehow managed to take it off him without Fratley noticing. He gave a slightly mocking bow, and vanished, running to the Drakanon. He jumped onto the hull, and stood right in front of the hole in the hull, making some brief hand shapes. His hands started glowing, as did his feet. One of the mechs was aiming for the battleship with a particularly large energy cannon. Agatio watched as it fired the beam of energy, a meter wide, coming closer and closer with a sinister fizzling sound. Agatio spun and slapped the beam with his right palm, sending it flying back at the mech who was firing it. Agatio smirked, and clapped his hands together, discharging some of the energy caught on his hands.
Fratley snatched the earpiece out of the air and put it back in his ear, readying his halberd at the same time. "Damien, keep firing at the mechs. If something goes wrong in the Drakanon, get everyone out of it and into the city. We're holding the forces at the moment, we just need an extra push," Fratley said into his mouthpiece. He spun his halberd in his hand, and brought the blade crashing down onto a soldier's head, cutting it cleanly. He yanked the blade out, the soldier's blood spilling into the soil. Fratley jumped, and threw his halberd down powerfully. It hit the ground, and sent out a powerful shockwave, knocking the surrounding soldiers down. Fratley immediately jumped out of the way, and a powerful beam hit the fallen soldiers.
"Yo!" Agatio said, climbing into the Drakanon. "Whoever can, tell whoever's firing to beam cannons to aim for me when I get to the mountain. I'll deflect the blasts on to the mechs' backs."
Agatio climbed out of the Drakanon, launched himself off the hull, running right through the soldiers (smacking a few along the way), and ran up the side of the mountain. He signalled to the Drakanon to show he was ready.
"This fight is gonna be tough," Agatio muttered, wiping the sweat off his forehead and kicking an energy beam.

Rie had long since switched her gun to full automatic fire, firing off bursts at the closest enemies, then phasing into another dimension to run to a different rock or hole to take cover in. She had gone through many magazines already, but the soldiers just kept coming. Time for something drastic, something she didn't do very often because of the intense concentration she needed to perform. Also, the technique, once known, would cause Pure Sphere to hate her, but since she had sold herself to another group, she had a feeling the purists wouldn't want her services back.
With a quick thought, Rie activated her cloaking device, another piece of equipment that was situated snugly in her head, which used a slightly different dimension phasing mechanism. The girl waited quietly inside a crater when she saw two Pure Sphere soldiers jump in and begin running. She phased back into normality, then tapped the two on the shoulder.
The soldiers turned around, surprised, when Rie closed her eyes and pushed her hands completely out of the planes of the physical and even the mental. Her eyes glowed a brilliant pure white, but the light was contained behind her eyelids. Her hands seemed to transform into sillhouettes of white light in the physical realm, and with these hands, Rie pushed forward into each of the soldiers' chests.
The soldiers' mouths hung open, then their eyes rolled up as their very consiousness was ripped out. Rie pulled back, holding in her hands two brilliant spheres of dense spiritual energy, aka, souls. Souls did usually take shape, but that was only when under their own will. Rie had contained the energy into balls herself.
The girls hands had become 'normal' again, except for her fingertips, which were still composed of light. She needed at least that much to contain and manipulate the souls. Rie opened her eyes. Her pupils were still glowing white, but her irises were now the original green color. Beads of sweat popped up on her forhead, falling into those eyes, but she ignored the sting.
Rie turned around, facing the army, then smashed the souls together. She closed her eyes again, phasing her spiritual fingertips with the souls to guide the energy, turning it into giant cone of energy directed at a dense portion of the army. As soon as she was done blasting, she concetrated again and her body transformed into that of a pure white falcon, which flew quickly towards cover.

Setsuko raised a delicate eyebrow at "Rawt". 'Uh huh. And, er, you wouldn't mind helping, hm?' she said, unimpressed by this figure's attempt at being mysterious. 'Because at this rate, we're going to be blown out of the sky.'
Rawt responded with a hand. Just a hand. Pointing straight at the enemy. Under the hood, it smiled. Sparks of energy slowly began flowing around it, heading for its hand, gathered from the air and rocks far below them. A simple circle made of several rings formed from the sparks, alien symbols and patterns emerging and disappearing. During all of this, a sphere of pure light slowly formed within the circle's centre ring, colours and sounds swirling inside it. When the symbols had crowded to breaking point in the circle, the hand pointed straight at the centre of the army. The sphere immediately shot down, the circle disappearing in a flash of light as all of the energy from it was shoved into the sphere, making it highly unstable - just as it hit the ground. The explosion that followed rivalled an atomic bomb in sound, but the size was contained - limited to about a 200 foot radius. Several mechs surrounding the area were knocked over by the following shockwaves, which were absorbed by the heave of soldiers around the sphere, each one affected somehow. Most simply dropped dead.
'I will help,' agreed Rawt, inclining her head in acknowledgement of Sets' gaping mouth. 'Tell Sir Fratley that. I will help.'

"Impressive," Agatio muttered as he deflected another beam. He signalled to the Drakanon to fire at the soldiers again, and to stop aiming at him. This was because he had spotted an all-too familiar figure. Down on the battlefield, stood with a rapier in one hand and a miniature spear in the other, his blue and red hair glinting magnificently as energy soared around him, seeming to ignore the rain completely. The figure flipped his hair, and pushed it out of his face with his palm. Agatio smirked. Always a spectacular entrance.
"Theatrics again?" Agatio asked, standing next to the figure. "You always loved an entrace, Samm." "I do enjoy showing off, you know that," Samm replied, smirking very slightly. He flipped his hair again, and started striding towards the battle. Agatio smirked, and shot right into the fray...
...only to be blasted out again by a particularly powerful energy blast. Agatio was thrown backwards, feeling the pain of the attack. Punches and kicks were one thing, but raw energy? It burned at his skin, and had managed to stun him. The end was getting close, he could feel it... Another energy blast, he saw it coming...
Samm appeared from no where, seeming to slide into his position. He threw his spear lightly in front of him, where it spun like a circular saw, cutting the energy. He raised his rapier to behind his head and cut straight through the beam attack, making it slide to either side. He quickly caught his rod, and shot right into the fray. This was nothing - Samm was an expert fighter. There was rarely an opponent who could get past his unique fighting style, being able to use three weapons at once but only ever wielding two. He was an expert, with a near-flawless technique.
"Order the mechs to bring out the chest cannons," Agatio heard a soldier say as he shot through the soldiers, not fighting at the moment due to the burning sensation moving along his chest. Quickly, he shot out of the battlefield and on to the mountain again, examining the mechs. He was joined by a certain Burmecian, who was sporting a khaki colour-schemed outfit, and a red-handled modified spear/halberd. "What's happening?" Fratley asked. "I'm not sure, I heard them mention chest cannons," Agatio said. "What's happening at the city?" "The forcefield's up. The city should be safe now, the Dragon Spirits are protecting it. And those appear to be the chest cannons," Fratley said, pointing.
He was pointing at one of the closer mechs, the rest of them apparently leaving the battlefield. The closest mech had extended what appeared to be an overlarge gun barrel from its chest, the end of which was glowing. Agatio studied it for a minute, and checked where it was aiming for. "Wait a sec... It's aiming for the city!" Agatio said. "What?! That shield isn't meant for energy attacks of this strength! It'll crumble if they hit it!" "The rest of the mechs are gonna attack from other sides! We've gotta get to the exactly points where it'll hit and stop them!" Agatio said particularly quickly. Fratley nodded. "I'll tell the others. Hurry to the closest mech's target." "Right," Agatio said, running down the side of the cliff. Fratley paused for a moment, rubbing his temples. They were so close to restoring Burmecia... Why was this happening? He jumped from his position, and told the other defenders what to do.

Setsuko stared at Rawt for a few more seconds, before racing straight down to Fratley. 'There'sadudeupthereblastingsoldierspowerfulbloodyhell!' she almost screamed, then realised that it was complete rubbish. Slowing down for a sec, she said, 'Rawt. Up there. Raw power. Bloody hell. Says on our side.'
Rawt smiled softly at Setsuko, and floated its bubble over to one of the points a mech was heading for. It built up the energy once more, sapping it from other, smaller machines around the battlefield, and fired it at the mech's operating systems. 'Scum of the earth,' it muttered quietly.

OOC: I'd like to join this - sounds awesome. Introducing my first-ever RP character to be a Burmecian (about time I made one, anyhoo). If for some annoying reason I can't get online again soon, then I don't mind if anyone takes control of my character (as long as it's sensible).
Destruction was everywhere, and all seemed one hell of a chaotic mess - even with the help being administered. And in the midst of all this insanity, was someone who shouldn't have even been there. Her name was Luna Jekkit, a young Burmecian girl with big dreams of one-day joining the Dragon Knights and avenging her parents' deaths by seeking justice against all evil-doers (and defending Burmecia as well). She was only 14 years old and had been hanging out in the pass to do her own kind of 'training' in preparation for the day she'd be old enough to join up with the Dragon Knights to fulfill her dream. But with all the bloodshed and the chaos that was going on, there wasn't much she could do to help and tried her best to hide inside a narrow cave in the rocks. It hurt her badly to squeeze in there, and it was hard for her to even breathe. But she tried to remain quiet in the hopes of not being spotted by any of the Pure Sphere troops. Luna despised doing something so cowardly, but with how terrified she was at the moment, all she could do was wait and hope that the battle would subside soon. She could feel her heart pounding irregularly inside her chest, and for a sickening moment she thought maybe she might die here among the crags - blood seeping from several scrapes and cuts that she'd gained from her getting in there. It was difficult for her to fight the desire to fall asleep, let alone focus on breathing. All she could do to stay alive was remember that she had a promise to keep to her parents and that it'd be huge waste for her to die now.

Rie, still flying away in bird form, watched one of the mechs powering up its chest cannon. She was high enough that the foot soldiers didn't pay anymore attention to her, so she circled around to watch the troop movement below. Other mechs were on the move, and Rie quickly made up several scenarios that were likely to happen with a maneuver like this. She realized the most obvious one would be the mechs all circling the city, opening their guns, and shooting past the shields.
The girl pulled her wings in and began to plummet. Below her were three mechs that were relatively close to each other. At the last moment, Rie pulled open her wings, slowing her bird form down, but not enough that she ploughed straight into the mech in the back. However, instead of exploding in a shower of blood and feathers, Rie went straight through the armor plating as if nothing were there.
"Nearing destination," said the pilot of the mech. "Copy that, keep along with the plan, Blue three," replied the comm link. "Roger that, Blue Leader. Blue three out."
The pilot was completely unaware of the intruder on his ship, until he felt a pair of hands gripping his head, then felt nothing as all as Rie broke his neck. The bounty hunter pushed the body out of his seat then took the controls. She never really had pilot training, but the Pure Sphere robot interface was surprisingly simple. It would take her a few minutes to figure out what everything did, but for now, all she needed to do was shoot. And there were two joysticks with red triggers, and conveniently, the triggers were labeled "machine gun." Rie moved the joystick around, watching one of the many holo screens move around, the barrel of its respective gun barely in the field of view.
"Blue three, why have you stopped moving?"
"No reason," she said slowly and sensuously, making sure that her voice would sound distinctly feminine on the other end.
The comm link clicked on as if it were about to receive a transmission, but it buzzed back off as Rie filled Blue Leader's mech with bullets, then used the second machine gun to simultaneously take down Blue Two. She smiled, then turned her attention back to the controls to figure out how to move the thing. After pushing enough buttons and pedals, she eventually got it to take a few steps, then began running at the next closest group of mechs.

"Their army's falling," Agatio said into his mobile, talking to Samm who was stood at another point around the city. "This is probably one of their stronger attacks, more like a last resort. We'll have to hold it." "Agreed," Samm said, running into position. He could see exactly where the mech was going to attack, though the laser targetting system helped him. He jumped into position, and threw his rapier above him, grabbing both rods and throwing them so that they spun in front of him, like circular saws. He caught the rapier expertly and waited for the beam. His rods were special, enchanted so that they would never fall if thrown as they had been, and energy resistant, so they would easily hold up against the beam.
Agatio stood strong, making a coupld of gestures. His hands started glowing as he worked some of his own brand of jutsu, granting him reflective powers on his hands temporairily. He stood in position, ready to defend against the beam attack. "Samm, that beam cannot get past you," Agatio said. "I know, I know," Samm said dismissively. "This is battle, I know what I'm doing."
Fratley landed in his position just in time. The beams had been charged, and were about to be fired. He made a quite note to grant himself an energy-fighting aura, surrounding his halberd with it. "This is it," he muttered to himself, preparing to defend.
The beams all fired at once. Perfect unison, perfect timing and placement. This had been planned. Samm lunged right into the incoming beam, thrusting the point of his rapier into the attack as it came, holding it back with his two rods. Agatio threw up his hands, the beam being reflected away and into the sky. Agatio frowned, beads of sweat emerging on his forehead as he re-directed the beam back at the mech. It didn't work, and merely stopped the beam's progress. It did stop any needless destruction, though. Fratley expertly spun his halberd in his hands, turning it into a disc rather than a spinning halberd. The beam smashed into it in an impressive display, but Fratley held.
"Captain! We have unguarded spots, and no way of defending them!" Fratley heard someone from the Drakanon tell him through his earpiece. "Dammit!" He muttered. He couldn't move without making the destruction worse. To his left, he could see where the beams would hit, and he couldn't do anything about it. Could this be the end? The beams were closing in...
They both stopped on their way. Fratley squinted, and saw two figures barring the beams' paths. "Hey, this fashionably late enough?" Agato heard Vincent's voice through his mobile. "More or less," Samm heard Yoshimitsu through his. They'd turned up, and right on time.
Vincent wasn't defending against the incoming beam - no, he was embracing it. And converting it, adding its energy to his own. As soon as the beam stopped, he'd fire the energy right back at the mechs. Yoshimitsu, however, was fighting the beam back, pushing it with his own energy beam. The mech would quickly be hit by Yoshimitsu's attack.
"We have a chance of winning after all," Agatio said, with the smallest smile on his face.

OOC: Mwa ha ha! Unleash the might of "Reice's Flame"!
From where she was hiding in the rocky crevice, Luna could see how bravely Yoshimitsu and Vincent were being - amazed by their courage and skill. Then something snapped. She couldn't bear to hide anymore and decided that even if it was reckless, she'd try to act more like a Dragon Knight and help them fight. Maybe this was the time her parents once warned her of, when she'd be allowed to use the power. This power was a special gift belonging to her family and known only to them and members of the royal family, and she was urged that it only be used in time of great need and in defense of others. However, should she be injured, it'd be risky. But at this point, Luna began to feel that her health wasn't important.
Squeezing out of the crevice was harder than it had been to get in, and by the time she'd freed herself, she'd gotten more cuts and ruined her clothes. The mechs were closing in fast, hoping that they could somehow overpower Vincent and Yoshimitsu by doing so. Though as insane it was for a young girl to be doing this, Luna boldly rushed out onto the battlefield - directly in the path of the lead mech. Eyeing the behemoth machines advancing towards her, she tried her best to remain calm and focus on breaking the mystic seal that was placed on her so as to keep her from accidently using her gift. At first, she began glowing with an eerie orange aura. Then the aura began intensifying and changed into a bright yellow-gold, and at this moment Luna opened her eyes and stared at the mechs. Her eyes had become like white flames, and she made her hands assume a blasting position while the aura surrounding her changed. It became white like her eyes, and seemed to envelop her like some kind of offensive weapon as well as shield. Huge, blazing white wings soon appeared behind her, making Luna look as though she were about to transform into a great white dragon. In the palms of her hands, a massive orb of blue-white energy was forming and growing larger as the lead mech drew ever closer. Then, when she felt it'd come close enough, she let loose on the enemy - sending an INTENSE blast of the blue-white energy straight at the lead mech. But at the same time she did that, she mightily flapped the white wings and sent a second massive blast on the tail of the first one. As it reached the first blast, it surprisingly split in two and went after the other mechs. Once the three blasts impacted their targets, the battlefield was then lit up by a blinding flash of blue-white.....
