So I've had a plot idea in the works since the foundation of Aleta regarding the rebuilding and restructuring of one of the major Hydorian cities after the recent civil war. If no one read that bit of history that I snuck into the wiki, basically a decade or so before the start of Aleta, a bunch of of the border cities of Tal-Hydor started rebelling and the central monarchy was like "w/e" so Matriarch Irinio of Irinios-ma went off and took the throne by force so that she could take over the rebelling states and reunite the land or something.
The plot basically centered around her children dealing with a rival family trying to take over the city and an external city trying to leverage more post-war reparations than necessary by playing the "our patriarch was the savior of this war that brought down your evillllll mother and true uniter of Tal-Hydor so we should destroy your city to rebuild ours you assholes." So basically lots of cloak and dagger politics and all that good stuff.
Then I started reading Game of Thrones and started rethinking my stance on making it an RP because of all the complex plot threads I'd need to figure out and string along so that people could jump in somehow and I don't even know what to do with it anymore because I kind of just want to turn it into a standalone fic, especially since the activity levels in Aleta RP aren't huge. Of course, I'm saying this to see if anyone would be interested in this as an RP which would therefore stop me from fic-ifying it, and also this plot wouldn't run until at least one of the current Aleta topics has reached a satisfactory area because I don't want to spread things too thin, so if anyone did want this to be an RP, they'd still have to wait a little while.
