I think the cocky smile on Hector's face really encapsulates his character in this picture.
Yoshi's hair is pretty much just amazing.
You can easily see the difference between Hector's and Yoshi's physiques - Hector's more muscular, as a bruiser should be, while Yoshi's more lithe, like his speed would suggest.

She appears to have transfigured her left foot into the nib of a fountain pen.

I also thought it was Rhys.
I'm not entirely sure why, either.

In fairness, it's mostly because I only learn about a lot of characters when you show me illustrations you've done of 'em. #toolazytoread3pagesofcharacterbios

It's probably because we've seen nothing but Rhys drawings recently. And he does have the same hair.
Endreal gets a pass because he is new and hasn't even met Hector yet apart from a passing mention in Vermillion Vanguard.
Elliot you have no excuse look at that smirk
I knew people might think he was Rhys so I have him very non-Rhys features like the shades and the manlier jaw and the small sideburns. Also since when does Rhys wear a military jacket you guys
The main differences I'm seeing is that Rhys has a longer face, a pointier nose, and overall looks much much neater than the more eccentric Hector, whose nose is broader and has messier hair and a smirk and a bruiser's physique.

notunit so much in that picture because I am terrible and blah blah, but I've tried to give Hector a steadily more muscular look in my pictures. I don't think he's full-on bruiser, but there's always been that element about him. I guess I forgot to say "light bruiser", but that sounds dumb and you bet the picture.
shit, equius didn't have a particularly bruiserly look until I saw his sprite.
christ i am so hungover

My honest opinion:
1.) All of your abstract art is pretty amazing, as well as anything you've made besides drawings/sketchings. Very original and pretty much bad ass.
2.) You're drawings of people... well they're good I like them. They seem to be too stiff though, and the shoulders are too square.
However, this is a generalization of all of your artwork. If you would like me to critique something specific, let me know.

Terrible ten-minute sketch of little zombie boy Dimitri. This was just a test run to kind of help visualize how I want him to look. A more complete portrait will be in the works soon. LOOK AT HIM. HE IS SO WOOBIE IT HURTS.

HE IS SO WOOBIE IT HURTS. The shoulders are still too stiff, and unnatural looking, at least to me. The hair is interesting, but I think in this case less is more... you can add a bunch of detail by only putting in a small bit of it. The hair style you draw makes him look like he has a thin head of hair. By doing a few wisps to give the outline of the hair, and adding in flicks for the hair if it splits, or on the outer edges, it will give the effect of it being thick and full. I wont, however, go into too much detail, as it is supposed to be a quick doodle.

Stef your stuff is looking gooood!! Lots of steady improvement! Like I said before, sketch from life as much as you can...even just a month of daily life sketching will make a world of difference. The more surreal stuff is looking awesome, too...did you not show me the pond hands before? They're so badass!!
