Angel tapped his finger on the table impatiently, Raven was taking far to long in the can. The trail was starting to get a little cold, and they needed to catch Jack before he went to ground. Angel sighed deeply, peering slowly around the bar. Classic night rave joint, loud music, flashing lights, and plenty of alchohol. Good hunting grounds for a demon, especially one with the reputation of Jack the Ripper.
Raven and Angel had barely caught a glimpse of him earlier, a skeletal body barely covered in scaily red flesh, hardening down the arms, until they transformed into two long, serrated curves of bone and spike. Angel shook his head, wondering why the hell he'd taken the job. He thumbed his sword again, suddenly with the sense that he was being watched.
He stood up, whipped around, and looked nearly straight up.
"Hello little Angel!" Jack said, dropped down on Angel. He quickly rolled out of the way, over the table, and he kicked it over to impede the Rippers progress.
"Raven, he's here already!" Angel yelled over the screaming people. He drew his sword in one, smooth motion. It cut through the table like think silk, just barely missing the demon, who had more than reflex enough to move out of the way. Angel nearly slapped himself, and settled into his rythm. He was only human after all, he needed to predict and see through the demons motions, if he wanted to live.

OOC: Give me a few.
Rusty as fuck. LMAO.
BIC:
Excuse me," exclaimed Dade as he pushed past another group of youths. He had no idea why he was here, in this club, alone and on a Wednesday. He had decided to come out for a drink, but this seemed the only place open within twenty miles.
He reached the bar and planted himself down on a stool his duffer coat hanging out behind it, it hid his sword; everyone likes to be prepared and a black tee shirt which was decorated with cards and dice. Dade smoothed his skin-tight jeans down his legs as the barmaid came over to ask what he was drinking.
"Thanks," he said as he got what he wanted, a nice cold pint. Which was then promptly knocked out of his hands, all over him. "Hey, what the hell?" he screamed as he turned, only to find a demon and some other guy with a sword, a nice sword.
Dade drew his, spinning it in his hand slightly to get a feel for it. He hadn't used it in a very long time and it was slightly more heavy than he remembered, but all the same he ran over to help.

Lights. Music. Alcohol. Smoking.
Typical night for Felix, really. That was his life at the moment. Out every night at some bar or club or rave, drinking just that bit too much. There was a point where the distinction between people began to blur slightly, and he couldn't tell who he had come with and who the complete strangers were. At the moment, he didn't feel too drunk and he could still tell who was who. However, he was slightly intoxicated but it wasn't from the alcohol.
"Eyyy, Felix," someone said as they passed him. A lazy grin formed on his face as the song shifted. The light effects changed just long enough to show his appearence. His hair was short and spiky, jet black and perfectly styled. Covering his forehead was a pair of slightly angled cyber goggles. On his torso, he was wearing a long-sleeved, slim fit black shirt that hinted at a toned physique, and a thin chain around his neck. On his legs, he was wearing dark jeans that had more pockets than seemed absolutely necessary which seemed to bulge slightly. Some of the pockets seemed sewn on crudely. On his feet, he wore what looked black hiking boots, but clearly meant for formal occasions. Felix considered raves the most formal of occasions. On his hand there was a black ring on his index finger.
Unfortunately, something managed to distract him from what was otherwise a good night. Two people had just drawn swords and were attacking something that was definitely not human. He heaved a great sigh. "Again?" He wearily asked no one in particular, making his way over to the fight that was about to start. As he walked, he took a drag on the joint he was smoking, then put it behind his ear for safe keeping, completely disregarding his fire safety lectures. "Let's make this quick, then."

Angel danced with demon, and he barely found itself its equal. The thing had years of experience as a methodical psychopathic killer, and it could take on shapes. Some of them didn't make sense to Angel, and threw him off balance. But behind his calm face, and his assumed name, he was no Black. He was a Deathstalker, brother to a nameless god.
A deaths head grin stretched outwards in his mind, from ear to ear, his presence filled the room with an aura of cold blood lust, if not the all out power the supernaturals could generate. He was merely human, and he gloried in it. He would show everyone, at length, what a mere human could do when he truly put his all into it.
He's taken numerous small hurts from the demon, and had returned them in kind. It's inhuman reflexes and speed allowed it to slightly confuse Angels perception, throwing his swings just that much off, and catching him off-guard.
And, given that he relied on prediction to detect and strike at the demon, and the perfection of his sword strokes to cut it, it was a very dangerous and taxing game for him to be playing. The demon had far more endurance than him.
Thankfully he could see some helpful souls approaching from the crowd around him. They didn't look like much, but he doubted that they'd be headed for the demon if they didn't have courage born of some confidence in their abilities.
And even if they ended up suffering horribly at the cruel, clawed hands of Jack, at least they'd provide a distraction. Multiple targets would hopefully upset the demon, allowing Angel the one perfect opening he needed to sever its soul from its body.
In the most violent, sudden, and bloody manner he could manage.

Felix was laughing, which was unusual because there was nothing amusing about his situation. Any body else would be terrified by the creature he was facing, but Felix was not normal by any stretch of the imagination. Still laughing, he slipped his ring from his finger and closed his palm around it. Suddenly, the ring extended and turned into a bo-staff of sorts, made out of that same black metal.
"C'mon, show me what you got," he taunted, taking the spliff from behind his ear for a second to take another drag. Mid-drag, the demon attacked him but Felix had excellent reflexes, and an abnormal claw went right over his head. With a swift movement, Felix swung the staff round and knocked the demon away just long enough to return the spliff to behind his ear. The demon was on the attack again, but Felix was anything but inexperienced. With another powerful movement, he planted his staff into the ground and spun round it, launching a powerful kick to the demon's head. Felix started laughing again when he landed smoothly.
"Dude," he said. "This joint is immense."
With a lazy grin, Felix readied himself. However, the demon was faster than he initially thought, and he was forced to jump backwards on to a table to avoid losing a limb. He jumped again on to some railing, then right over the demon to another table. The demon smashed the table he was stood on but Felix had jumped again, landing on the floor, and brought his staff swinging round powerfully. However, the demon dodged it then lunged. Thanks to his quick reactions, Felix was left with little more than a cut on his cheek.
"This is getting fun now," Felix commented, laughing again.

The demon had found itself a little to distract, and Angels sword bit into its back and through its spine. However, demons had never obeyed the basic lays of anatomy, and it wasn't nearly enough to make it fall.
It merely screamed horribly, and threw a table at Angel, who calmly cut it in half and batted it aside. However, by the time he'd finished dealing with that, the demon was already in the rafters. It grinned down at him lazily, already healed.
"Azrail has claimed you, midplainer." It hissed, "What he has claimed, we will destroy. The Lord Asherass counter claims, your soul will be his. To become a demon, like myself. Revel in your fate!" It hissed, then turned its eye's on Felix. "Don't think you are forgotten stoner, perhaps I'll turn you myself, and keep you as a pet!" It grinned, huge jaws and teeth exposed to open air.
It ripped a hole in the ceiling and fled through it, and Angel was quick to follow, hauling himself up among the rafters and through the hole.
"A demon fleeing a mere human! How they'll talk of this when I send you back to hell!" Angel yelled after Jack, who was far to fast for a mere human like himself to catch.

"Eh heh heh heh," Felix laughed, watching the demon jump through the ceiling. "Yeah, 'cause I'd be the pet of something with no hands. You might stroke me and cut something off." Felix stopped to think about what he said, then started laughing again. Even as the demon was being pursued, he didn't join in. He took the joint from behind his ear again, wincing slightly as he realised he'd singed half of his hair (again), and took a long drag.
"Guess I should follow?" Felix asked no one in particular, looking up at where they had left. "Through the ceiling? Now how am I gonna get up there?"

"Screw that!" Angel said, dropping down from the hole in the ceiling. "We can't catch him on foot, he's way to fast. We'll have to catch up to him in vehicals. I've got a bike, and he's worth a bounty. I'll split it with you two if you help me catch and kill the bastard." He paused, then briskly walked outside.
"Follow me if your interested, I don't really have time to explain." He said, walking along the bikes out front. He found his, hopped on, and turned the key. The red bike roared to life with high performance menace. "Steal a bike if you don't have one, the bounty will cover the costs, trust me." Angel said, winking.
Even three ways, there was one hell of a price on Jack the Rippers head.
Angels bike roared around in a doughnut, and he quickly took off after the demon. It wasn't long before he spotted it, running along the roofs. He pulled a magnum out of his coat, and took two carefully aimed shots at it. The first took it just under the gut, at hip level. The second went through its ankle and knocked it off the roof.
It had healed by the time it hit the ground, and took of running. But Angel has expected no less from the slippery thing, and drew his sword. He knew it would come down to the blade in the end, at eighty miles and hour, one hand white knuckled on the throttle. His face became a mask of tense concentration as he caught up the the demon, and struck out with the opening blow.

"A bike race, eh," Felix muttered, his staff retracting back into a ring. He pulled his spliff from behind his ear again, taking a few long drags as he walked out of the club, heading for his own motor bike. It was customised for him, and sometimes it acted like it was almost sentient when it was on the road. Felix threw his leg over and revved the engine, readying the chase. Pulling his goggles down to cover his eyes, he shot off like a bullet, pursuing Angel and the demon.
"Makes me wonder what this guy's name is," Felix muttered, chucking the last of the splif behind him. He punched a button on the front of his bike and another lit splif rose from the handlebars. Grinning slightly, Felix took it, showing a remarkable skill to smoke while driving at eighty miles per hour and still manage to keep the bike on course. He was an expert, after all.
"Nice night for it," Felix roared at Angel as he caught up with the other bounty hunter.

"Damn right!" Angel yelled back over the roar of the wind, as the demon ducked under his sword. It could hardly counterattack as such a high speed however. His coat whipped around him, and Angel relished the feel of the wind in his face.
He blocked a blow as the demon lashed out at him, swirving his bike through a long arc that ended up in front of the demon, and facing it. A sharp rev of the engine brought him into close range, and a perfectly executed slash seperated the demon from his right arm.
It roared terrible defiance, the wound to grievous for it to be quickly regenerated. its severed arm flopped on the ground, fingers like spiders as it chased after Angel with a mind of its own.
Angel spun his bike around, casually slapping the arm aside as it launched itself at him. It was no great threat compared to the demon in front of him.
He piled on the acceleration, and quickly caught up to the demon, gesturing for the other young man to pincer it from the other side. If all went well, perhaps they could finish it before it got where it was going.
He doubted he wanted to see what its refuge looked like.

"This is gonna cause havoc on my ring," Felix muttered, slipping his ring from his finger again. This time, it extended into a sword with a remarkably long, thin blade, still made of that strange black metal. Testing out the shape, he twirled the sword and readied himself for combat. That demon, whatever it was, was pretty fast. Managing to reach eighty miles per hour on foot.
Felix punched a button on his bike, making it continue driving despite the fact that he wasn't controlling it any more. As he jumped to stand on his bike, he pulled out a bracelet from his pocket and slipped it on. Taking a long drag, he launched himself from the bike, the bracelet glowing bright as it activated. With a flourish, he spun in the air and brought his sword slashing round at the demon. However, the demon was still ridiculously fast and managed to block expertly. Felix twisted in the air and drop-kicked the demon's face, knocking it away a bit.
Despite the fact that they were moving at ridiculously fast speeds, Felix didn't seem to be struggling to keep up, even without his bike. He landed on the floor, skidding slightly, but shot back up immediately. As he left the floor, his bracelet glowed again, this time a more vivid light. Felix threw himself into the fight again releasing a flurry of slashes, hoping to catch the demon off guard. Each move was blocked until Felix pulled something else out of another pocket. A small black orb. He threw it at the demon, who promptly slashed through it. As soon as the black shell was pierced, the ball exploded violently, sending the demon flying into the air. Felix jumped back on his bike, slipping the bracelet off.
"Attack it now while it's off guard!"

OOC: Spinning the sword around your hand isn't called a twirl, it's called a flourish. And its meant for blocking blows from multiple opponents. BIC: Angel jumped off his bike, and cut through the demon in one, swift strike. It shrieked, then was quickly absorbed by a red portal. Along with Angel, Felix, their bikes, and a large stretch of the street. Angel rolled as he hit the red Earth, no longer on his own plane of existence. He grabbed onto his bike as it sped by him, riding it along the bumpy terrain and to a quick halt. He looked around him. The space around him looked like the surface of mars, all reds and blacks with a great deal of sand. However, frequent, great spikes and spires erupted from the ground. They were wreathed in flames that stretched up to touch the violet heavens. "Welcome to the Seventh Circle of Hell, my friends." Jack said, cackling with his loathsome voice. "I'm willing to bet you didn't quite expect this. Hell is a lot larger, and more empty, than one would imagine. The lonelyness is part of the punishment. But we've all long since found each other." He looked straight at Angel, "None of us who come here stay human, fake Angel. You stole that name, I wonder what your real one is?" Jack sprinted over to one of the spires, and climbed up on it, inhumanly fast. "There are no angels here to protect you, False Angel. You are a man of virtue, a prize without equal here. They already come for you, but you are not to be theirs. Your soul is claimed, your life has been soiled merely by your presence in this place." He grinned its huge, insane grin. Teeth of steel mirrored Angels image. "The longer you stay here, the more demonic you become. Perhaps, if you left in an hour, you'd leave with your humanity." Jack turned away, looking over his shoulder at Angel. "But I doubt it." Jack the Ripper disappeared, faster than either of them could ever hope to match on his home plane. "Shit, what now!" Angel cursed, turning to Felix, "Any idea's?"

Felix held his grip on his bike and his ring, which had retracted as they left their world, refusing to be parted from either of them. As the wheels hit the ground again, he followed Angel and pulled it round, skidding to a halt. He completely ignored the words that the demon was saying, instead choosing to examine their surroundings. Surely, this was no where on earth. He took note of one thing that the demon had said, but chose to ignore the rest.
"Seventh level of Hell, huh?" He muttered, reaching into his pockets. For some reason, he was unusually calm/ He pulled out a hip flask. After removing the lid, he took several large swallows. "Wish I could say I'd been worse places." He replaced the lid and put the hip flask back into his pocket, pulling out a spliff from a different one.
"Ideas? We're in Hell. I dunno about you, but I've got no intention of staying here," Felix replied, lighting his spliff. He offered it to Angel, understanding that he needed to calm down. At the same time, he pulled a mobile phone out of his pocket. "I don't care where we are, I'll be damned before this baby lets me down." Quickly, he punched in a number and raised it to his ear.
"Yo, Felix reporting in. Yeah, he was there. Yep. No, we're in Hell. I know damn well that you can operate that beauty. I'm not staying here, no way. Nope. Alright, give me a ring when it's ready."
Felix sighed and pushed the end call button. "I have a way out, but it wont be ready for a bit. Guess our priority is staying alive."

"That's a relief." Angel said, suddenly glad of meeting his odd companion. He took the proffered spiff, and took a deep drag before passing it back to Felix. He then frowned at himself, he never would've done something like that back on earth. He looked around cautiously, and there was Jack, unmoving, still staring at them.
"Oh shit!" Angel said, diving for Felix, but he was to slow.
"You should know I don't leave unfinished buisness." Jack said, grabbing roughly onto Felix, and throwing him into one of the pyres with all his might. Angel followed, before he could even react, the demon much faster in its homeland. In hell.
They impacted the side of the pyre, but instead of pain, they simply found themselves... Elsewhere.
A demon stood before the two of them, and dismissed Felix with a glance. He picked up Angel by the back of the neck, holding him as a wolf would its pup. Angels sword skittered across the demon's armor, but he couldn't manage a proper stroke at this angle.
"Good to meet you, self proclaimed Angel. Opposites tend to attract, welcome to hell, would you like some tea?" A thick spike shoved itself into Angel, in a place it had no place being. He cried out at the indignity, but otherwise became very still. He was well aware of how easily he could be killed in this position.
"I am Asherass, the demon of rebirth. I will not allow heaven to claim you, it would be so much less fun that way. So... Turn to ash, and rise a Phoenix, mere human!" The demon laughed, the spike was suddenly burning hot.
Angel could feel himself being consumed from the inside, burning out, a terrible heat, it lashed out randomly with great strength. Destroying him. And, at the same time, becoming him. He fought it as best he could, but he couldn't train in all things, his dream was being destroyed by the nature of itself. He lashed out, and a bolt of lightning impacted Asherass chest, throwing the demon across the room.
Asherass looked surprised for a moment, and stood up, brushing off its armored chest. "Well well, birth pangs, who would've known the secret power you held inside. Still..." Asherass walked forward, Angel glowed and electric blue before him. "You're nature will prevent you from mastering what you are."
Angel exploded, the wave of electricity grabbed up Felix, and carried him somewhere else.
Angel woke up somewhere far away, at the top of a burning mountain, his bike on top of him. He grimaced, pushing it off him with surprising ease. He felt a deep sadness in him, like the calm before a storm. Or the eye of the storm, shedding tears all around it.
He looked around for Felix, but couldn't see him anywhere.
He scowled harshly, he needed to find him. He doubted either of them would want to stay alone in hell for long. And, that aside, the man seemed to know a way out.
Angel started up his bike, and revved the engine loudly, on the off chance that Felix would hear it, but he didn't get his hopes up to high. He could be a long way off, from home, from friends, or even the path that brought him there.

"Ugh, for fuck's sake. That's the second one tonight that fucker's taken away from me," Felix muttered angrily, completely disregarding his surroundings as he rummaged through his pockets, searching for another spliff. As soon as he found and lit one, he stopped to examine where he was this time. Still in the same rough area, he figured. It was still red and craggy at any rate, and he could still see some spires. However, his bike was nowhere to be found and neither was Angel.
"Typical. The guy who knows more about this would decide to fuck off, wouldn't he?" Felix muttered. He sounded less angry now, more annoyed. After taking an unecessarily large drag, he took a closer look at his surroundings. No matter where he looked, there seemed to be something moving. Like shadows, or ghosts. Felix got the distinct impression that he was not alone. But then again, he knew that anyway. Sighing slightly, he pulled out his mobile phone again.
"Felix, reporting in. I've been seperated from my companion. Hell's basically just another dimension that people go to, isn't it? Yeah, and demons run riot, am I right? Okay, good to know. Right, when I get back, there had better be a bottle of so co and a million cigs waiting for me. I'll keep you updated."
Felix looked up. The moving shapes were getting more prominent. Soon, Felix knew, he would have to defend himself. In Hell, he really was not looking forward to it.

Angel tore down the side of the mountain at breakneck speed, the engine of his motorcycle revving loudly against the thunder that crackled in the background. He seemed to be in a thunder hell now, somewhat suitable given the new abilities he'd been discovering, to his horror.
He'd removed the muffler on his bike, so the engine would be as loud as possible. This with twofold reasons, first it kept the more timid creatures at bay, and second, it let Felix know where he was. Assuming he was anywhere near enough to hear it.
He was driving back towards the firehell, though he wasn't sure how he knew it. He hoped to find Felix there, or that Felix would head in the same direction. Angel couldn't be sure, but he could hope.
Jack the Ripper would be there to, and he still needed his head, more than ever now, for what had been done to him.
