OOC: I'd just like to say, first off, the Pokecharms sucks ass, and that Gary is a fucking prick. I hope this group proves to be more friendly. And since I've seen a few space RP's in here, I think I'll make my setting on a different planet.
BIC: The broken cloud cover shone a golden hue across what remained of Reno's homeland, the spirit of Lyllia shattered, expressing itself in the breaking of his mountain home. The blue light of the spirit conflicting with the gold light of the sun. Reno stood miles away, on the flat landscape his people had never known, and looked up at his broken homeland, the blood of Lyllia still flowing from the open wound.
"WHY!" He screamed. "Why did my home need to be destroyed!"
He fell to his knee's, tears forming in his eye's. All of his friends, his family, his wife. They were all gone, never to return. Cero, Noda, Nuj, Mako, Yomi, Kai, all dead and never to return. Reno sat there a while, silent tears wracking his body, madness on the brinks of his mind. He squeezed his eye's shut, tear dripping down onto the earth.
"Why?" He whispered. Only the wind answered him, blowing dirt onto his clothing and face. He stood up and rubbed it off with his shirt sleeve, and turned around, back facing his homeland. "Goodbye. Glydrathral." He said, and walked slowly away from the mountain, still covered with the photonic plasma that made up Lyllia's core.

Folken was old, very old. He had been in this universe too long, but still he had work too do, protecting every world ever discovered from darkness. Like so many others he had met on his journeys across space.
He now was propped up on his staff, surveying the barren wasteland he was on, he didn’t know what planet he was on, but something had led him here that was for sure. His piercing eyes darted around occasionally, finally landing on a young man kneeling on the ground, he seemed to be in distress but this didn’t matter to the old wizard, for now anyway, Folken watched as he got up and started to walk away. Maybe this person could answer his questions.
Folken stood straight once more, adjusting his hat so it covered his brow, and turned suddenly, his cloak swishing through the air, and he was gone, reappearing instantly metres behind the young man.
“Excuse me,” Folken barked, his rough voice echoing. “May you tell me what planet I am on?”

Reno slowly turned around to face the new person. "This planet? You mean this sphere?" He asked sadly. "This sphere is Lyllia." He said shortly. He turned around and once again began to walk away, seeing no reason to stay. He then stopped for a moment, and turned back to the man. "If your looking for a place to stay, the nearest town is this way."

“Sphere, what exactly do you mean?” Folken enquired. “I thought this was a planet, I take it I’m mistaken?” He continued, following on behind the young one leading him to the town.
“May I ask your name?” Folken also asked after some time, “My name is Folken, I am a wizard of a special order from the planet of Earth, if you know what that is.” He added.

Reno looked at Folken oddly. "A sphere is thing land we stand on. It stretches around in a great circle, Lyllia's body. Within her is Lyllia's blood, it holds great power." He said. "I have no name now, my homeland is gone. With no home I have no name. But you may call me Reno, for it means Outcast in my language."

“I see, Reno.” Folken replied, his voice now more human than it was before, his eyes changing to blue, looking sorrowful. “I’m sorry I was so short with you before, I’m very old I don’t need manners much nowadays, what is this power you speak of, and what do you plan to do now?” He asked.
OOC – Sorry for the short posts, not much for me too do.

"It is not nessisary, those unable to protect their homes deserve no courtesy." He said. "The spirit of Lyllia's blood is laced with power, it can be used for the making of great things, though I know not how to use it." (You could think of Lyllia's core like a giant photonic reactor.) "As for what I plan to do, I will do what all in my position do. I will walk the sphere until my life is taken from me. It is what Lyllia's wish is." He said, as they slowly began to walk into town. Those around Reno looked at him with hatred in they're eye's, cat calls and stones soon began to rain down on him. "You had best go, our mother Lyllia has forsaken me, you'd best be seen in some other's company."

OOC: Welcome to the boards, Chronos! We, generally, are a good group, although somewhat lacking in activity. >.> Anyways, sorry to burst your plot bubble, but the space setting is only within the solar system. I'd like to direct you to the RP discussion board for my completely unrealistic and obscenely long and boring historical account of how mankind went to space and such. Before you read, to give you a taste of how anti awsome it is, space involved magic. Plus, I tried to make the description as realistic as possible in describing how humans reacted to events and how things turned out and such, so it reads like a textbook. Although, there is still a bunch of places you can explore in the solar system. The asteroid belt can be used to pop up basically an infinite number of home... rocks.

OOC: The member named Prime took it out of the solar system, so I assumed i was safe in doing so as well. And I aint callin it off now that its gotten started, I've had this story stuck in my head for long enough. As another member has already joined, I think I was safe in making my decision. Certainly it won't hurt to continue. And I won't be limiting my veiw in the the future either. All other things are important yes, but my story takes presidence. If you dislike the setting then don't post.

OOC: Really? I wasn't aware that he did. Meh.
It's not so much taht I don't like the setting. I love planets; writing about them, visualizing them, etc. (my pretentious artistry started with photoshopping planets from scratch)
I just had the setting defined for this sub forum. Actually, the only reason I kept the description in the solar system was because this board was only set like 30 years into the future of the main board. Also, I thought receptivity to the idea of space would be better if it was somewhere familiar, ie. the solar system. Plus I really didn't want to get into the nitty gritty of more than four main areas I covered in the description. My fingers were hurting after all that typing. >.<
I'd join in myself, but ironically, I have yet to actually get my spacey chars all fleshed out.

OOC: Whether or not you all want to RP isn't in question, I'm sure you do. But, if your not sure you CAN post on a reasonable basis, THEN DON'T POST. Thank you.
I don't have any forums left, and I see no point in staying here. Please take these boards down, to avoid disappointing anyone else.

OOC: Have you tried PMing/E-mailing Aurora (Dave) about this? He's usually fairly good about posting.

OOC: I'll just go ahead and introduce a temp char then, since this topic does seem interesting.
BIC: "This might just be my Earthling mindset, but it seems rather wasteful to be killed for not protecting your home from a natural disaster," Nick Taruic said. He still had the same facial features he did 30 years ago. The only visible sign of aging were the few white hairs sticking out of his head at odd angles.
He was here for research. Nick was asked to become a registered explorer for Luna. He accepted, thereby officially become a "Lunie," as some people liked to call them. Of course, he lacked the mindset of subtle observance that most researchers had.
Nick waved his hand. Nanites flew from his fingertips and hovered in the air. The alchemist waited for his nanites to bind to any of the closest air molecules before flicking his wrist, causing a jolt of electricity to fly from the emitters in his hand into the silvery air. The sound of dynamite caught everyone's attention, as the air molecules arouund Nick were instantly frozen, the sudden compression of air hitting everyone's ears like an explosion.
"Can someone PLEASE tell me why this man deserves your hatred?" He shouted, lacking any tact, as usual.
