OOC: This uses a plot/story line that was origionally written for a novel. I actually completed it, but I never submitted it to an editor or anything. It skips bits, a lot of bits. I don't want to skip them, but if I don't, the RP won't be exiting for a few months, because you all post so slow. So instead I'll accelerate to the beginning. Be aware, a meteor falling from the sky in the middle of town would cause a little attention. Which is reason enough for a character entrance.
BIC: Chapter 1: Living Weapons, Strand, Fate (Chapter is a denotion of where in the book this would be/bookmarking the story arc.)
6:37 PM, Sunset, island town of Yotaru York halfway between Japan and Vancouver Island.
Leon Chaos Burch, often called Chass, which he hated above all else.
He stretched, looking at the sunset. He lived in a well developed town, but it was smaller than most and pretty casual in its environment. For the most part, it was hard to tell the town from the park. It was so well blended, and natural, that one always felt in touch with themselves. Leon tried to spend more time in the park proper, as he didn't like being at home.
He relaxed, lying casually on top of a cliff. At the end of his feet, was the actual face. He'd just scaled it, as he did regularly. Proper exercise is essential to health and all that, but really he just enjoyed the challenge. His eye's flicked across the sky, focusing on something of interest. It looked like a star, but it was moving a little, and it was blue.
"Satellite?" He wondered aloud, watching as it grew larger, and larger, until it was the size of the moon. His eye's shot open,
"Are you serious?! A meteorite!" He yelled, jumping to his feet and running his @$$ off as it grew larger. It impacted just behind him with a tremendous explosion, blowing him off his feet.
"Ouch," He said, picking himself up as the smoke cleared. He cautiously moved towards the crater, thinking he almost got hit by it, he might as well take it as a souvineir. He crawled up over the edge of the crater, and tumbled into the pit. He abruptly halted with a squish.
"Squish?" He said numbly, he open and closed his hand. It was indeed something squishy. He was, in fact, lying on something squishy. He got up, holding his head, and turned around.
"Wha, wha-" He stuttered, stumbling back and tripping over his own feet, landing painfully on his arse. "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?" He yelled, looking at the blue haired young woman, naked and smoking hot. (In both senses.) In the middle of the crater. She was breathing heavily (naked), and holding onto an odd sword.
It was shaped oddly, two blades, but no spine, and the blades twisted around each other at the base and tip. In the center of this open area, a crystal floated, steadily turning.
The girl opened her eye's, rubbing at them as though she'd just woken up, and then looked around. She looked at Leon, and he froze. "Whats you name?" She asked softly.
"L-l-l-Leo, Leon." He said tentively. She smiled suddenly, "Its nice to meet you Leo! I'm Moka, you're my husband!" And quite suddenly, she was on top of him, hugging him.
He struggled limply to escape, of entirely two minds about the matter. "Yaaaaaaaaaaaargh, no, just put this on first!" He yelled, taking of his jacket and basically forcing it on her.
Once she was clad...sort of, he sat down and directed a blunt question at her.
"So why the hell am I your husband now?" He asked sharply.
Moka put a finger to her chin, pursing her lips.
"Well thats how it works on my planet, you find a man you like and you chose him."
This was followed by a long pause.
Not only am I apparently married, but she's an alien. He thought, though the last bit should have been obvious.
"Ok... Well it works differently on my planet, but why don't we get into that later." He said, biting his lip, "Next, whats up with that sword?"
She grabbed its hilt from where it lay on the ground, and held it up in front of her. "This is the most powerful weapon in this galaxy..." She said quietly, "And I was sent here by my masters to keep it hidden and safe from evil hands.. Here!" She said, tossing it to him.
"Whoa, whoa whoa!" Leon yelled, juggling its hilt between his hands until he had a firm grip on it. "Who throws a sword unsheathed like that!" He yelled, she just looked at him with an odd expression.
"Well you caught it, so whats the problem?" She asked, this followed another long silence from Leon. During which the weapon slowly began to glow blue.
"Oh!" Moka proclaimed happily, "It seems to like you to, aren't you the popular one!"
"What?" Leon asked, confused, then noticed how the sword was glowing every more brightly. He gently placed it on the ground, and backed away. "Yeah, ok. Thats not creepy."
Moka frowned at him, "You can get rid of it like that, it has to want to leave, right Aoigun?" She said, pointing at the sword. It spiraled through the air and 'stuck' to Leon's back.
"What, what?!" Leo exclaimed, trying to get it off his back, but it was stuck fast. "How can you be so calm about this?" He asked Moka urgently, "A human with the most powerful weapon in the galaxy? Come on!"
She tilted her head, then grinned. "It likes you and I like you, why fret? Oh, before I forget!" She exclaimed, jumping to her feet. With a snap of her fingers she was wearing a skin tight bubble gum pink jumpsuit, with some thicker material draped over the 'unmentionables.'
She reached into a pouch in her back pocket, and pulled out a needle. Before Leon even had a chance to say anything, he'd been injected with... Something. Something bright purple, and florescent.
He was almost to shocked to speak, "Wha, what was?" He managed to choke out.
"Oh," She said, smacking her temple. "I forgot to warn you, hehe! Genetic modification, you humans aren't very strong on your own. I'll give it a few days to set, then the next one!" She pulled out another needle, this one filled with a psionic blue substance. "This unlocks psionic potential, I have a few others. To bad I'm so understocked, but you have Aoigun now!"
Leon hung his arms by his sides, she was so cute it was hard to be angry with her. He found himself...liking her. It was a freaking odd feeling, along with having everything else dumped on him all at once.
He hadn't even caught his breath from the climb.
"Oh god, someone please help me." He said, collapsing.
"Hey hey!" Moka said, bouncing over, "Are you alright?"
