Scion looked around carefully, his heavy, oddly crafted straight katana in his hands. He'd heard something creeping about in these caverns, but that wasn't an unusual occerance on Mars, a lot of people got spooked by the first ghosts drawn to the planet. But he had a feeling this wasn't a ghost, it felt different, far far more alive. But for the life of him, now he couldn't detect it, not a single trace. He looked around again, catching his reflection in the icy walls of the caverns, his fierce green eye's searching the room, his short, spiked brown hair giving him an edged appearance. Like that of a weapons live blade. He was skinny, but not unhealthily so, more lithe than outright muscular. He looked fast and graceful, though his movements sometimes seemed harsh and sudden.
He shrugged, letting it go. It wasn't a big deal, though it was true that a lot of people wanted him dead. In the past, his Mother Diamond, and his Father Prime, have made quite a lot of enemies, and many of them tried to get to Scion, attempting to hurt his mother and father. He'd delt with them though, his father had taught him how because he'd allowed him to finally be free and explore the world himself. He still hadn't forgiven him for trapping him, 14 years since his birth, in a time warp so he could train and raise him with his mother. And when he was finally allowed out, his Father and Mother were gone, moved on to another plane, leaving Scion behind. No, he didn't think he'd ever be able to forgive them for that.
And while he was busy thinking grimly of his past, something snuck up on Scion, sensing his dark heart and mind. Feeding on the torment he put himself through because of his total lack of understanding or acceptance. It raised its deformed head, though it was more like a bulb of steel than a head, as its body constantly shifted, unable to keep a certain shape, and then it shot forwards like a bullet.
Scion turned, but to late, as he brought his blade up, the steely thing hit him in the chest, puncturing his skin and infesting him. Scion froze, unable to breath, and then slowly, his skin turned silver, and his arms, chest, legs, and head became heavily armored. His eye's turned a complete, deep black. The thing inside him, actually an evil symbiot, feasted on his dark emotions, and changed him as a side effect, made Scion more evil, and more like itself, though Scion was still human. And his mind was as sharp and dangerous as ever.
"And now I suddenly understand." Scion said. "I am the son of gods, I shouldn't waist my time wondering about my parents, I should use my time to dominate what is mine by right of power." He said, as the symbiot fed him its darker thoughts, seeking to feed on ever greater, and darker power. Scion smiled, his teeth now a pointed blood red color, and strolled out of the cave, ignoring the atmosphereic suite he'd come with. He walked across the red planes of Mars, thinking great, dark thoughts, and finding a first focus for his power.
OOC: Just act like your characters are going through every day life, or on an adventure of they're own, and I'll mix it as we go, just remember that we're on mars, and you need atmosphereic suites to be outside the domes.

Shant had never been to mars, nor did he like it. The red dust everywhere and just got on all over his brother’s coffin. The only good thing was that he was able to lift the heavy thing a bit easier than usual. The shuttle from earth was smooth except the landing was a bit rough. He decided it was better to explore the red planet on his own. His brown hair spread over his face while he was trying to put on his atmospheric suit. The rental smelled as though a Martian died in it. He quickly left the dome in search of the sacred spot the old man told him about.
The planet was pretty much barren except for the fact that there were domes around housing people. Shant sighed deeply; he didn’t like hearing the emptiness of space and decided to start to head west.

OOC: Reference for what my character looks like: BIC: “Oh, I’m s-sorry,” the young women moaned as she bumped into a man in the street, he shrugged her off and pushed her to the side to get past, and Alexia sighed. She hated this place, this planet Mars. She hadn’t been here long and she already hated it with a passion. Alexia brushed her vivid blue hair from her face and carried on walking, she was on her way back to the small apartment she had rented out. Alexia was on the edge of the business section, a dangerous place for a teenager like her, well teenager in her respect for life, she was actually over one hundred years of age, but in her terms, that was young for her species, she looked a teenager too, around the age of fifteen in human years, even if her body was well developed. She wrapped her arms around her as she walked, it was cold on this planet, surprising really, the domes had cooling vents it seemed someone had messed up and turned it right down, it felt like Antarctica inside at the present time, but maybe it was just her. As usual she had her blue silk top, with white sleeves, and her small blue silk shorts on with gold trim, small blue boots decorated her feet, completing her outfit, and it was probably the reason she was so cold. Alexia arrived in the residential section quite soon after, she walked quickly to her flat and produced a key card from somewhere, sliding it through the panel next to the door, unlocking her small home. She locked it behind her; Alexia was shy and didn’t trust anyone on this damn planet. She was lost in thought of how miserable and boring her life was as she sat, watching the stars outside through the small window she had. Maybe something, or someone would come along soon, and make her life better, but maybe that day would never come.. OOC - Really couldn't do much, so alittle character intro here. Topic looks promising. ;D

Scion looked carefully at the small dome in front of him. One couldn't really call it small, since the dome itself was the size of a city, and indeed, contained a city. But compared to most of the domes on mars, and the newer cities on earth, this was a small, backwater place. It didn't even have a starport, something which Scion was sure could be worked out to his advantage. He walked through the glass wall of the dome like it wasn't even there, and continued on through the town, getting closer and closer to the buisness district, which the steely symbiot within him could sense had many dark, tantalising hearts.
It didn't take long to reach the darker area's of the buisness district, where laserblades and worse things ruled, force was law, and that was the end of it. Scion shortly found the darkest cesspools of the place, and stepped into the deepist, by kicking the goddamn door down. "Knock knock!" He said brightly, as all the men in the room shot to they're feet, training plasma weapons on him. "Naughty naughty." Scion said scornfully, lifting his hand. A thousand needles made of steel shot out of it, impaling the men one inch at a time to the walls of the room. Scion walked over to the boss, and shoved his evil face directly into the man's. "I'm afraid that now, you are merely property." Scion said happily, bringing his hand forward, and merging it with the man's chest.
The martian man convusled, then his skin was suddenly silver, and he began to grow steely armor as well. Scion grinned, "Change your subordinates as well." Scion commanded. The man obliged, going around the room and making each of his men suffer as they were changed. As, through the symbiot within Scion, these men were now under his total control. Scion sat down comfortably in the large bosses chair, and looked over his men. "All of you, go out and change all your relative subordinates, and make sure they change theirs as well. I want every last link in the chain under my direct comment by the end of two hours. Then we'll start on the government." He grinned. "They'll never even know what hit them."

Shant was getting tired of walking and decided to rest. he sat down against a large rock. He decided to check on "M.A.R.C" or his Mechanical Alternate Reality Conection. This was the way he channeled part of his soul in to the device. right now it was just the skeleton but when he needed it he would trigger a nerve in his arm to start the armoring process. then everything was would be alright. he didn't channel his soul only, in the machine a switch would release the soul of his departed brother Shane.
shant opened the vibranium coffin to see the work he received for his cooperation with the S.A.G.E.S. It was perfectly fine and was in the neutral mode. He sighed and began to talk to the machine. "hey bro, i guess we pretty much at a dead end on where to find the spot" the machines eyes opened and it began to speak," yeah i guess we could leave right" shant responded quickly" umm sorry, but i still go to finish this assignment."

Alexia was still sitting staring into the sky lost in thought when she heard the first scream. Her head snapped downwards towards the street, two robots it seemed were chasing two men, who were firing soundless shots behind them which were bouncing harmlessly off their metal skin.
One of the robots jumped landing just behind one of the fleeing men placing a hand on his shoulder, the effect happened immediately the man turned from flesh to metal in seconds, she gasped as the second man fell over, about to meet the same fate. Fortunately for him, Alexia’s heroism factor, as she liked to call it kicked in, she launched herself through the open window, flipping in the air, landing softly on her feet, almost as if she had floated down. She brought a small metal stick from somewhere, and muttered something in Latin and the stick grew, into spear. She swept it round throwing the three metal men back.
“Run,” she said softly to the man she had just saved and he did, without even a thanks, and now she had a problem, three angry robots waiting to turn her like they had done just before.
Alexia acted fast, she swung her spear down and it impacted with the ground, a rumble was heard before the red ground beneath the three robots began to shake and very suddenly, three massive spikes of earth erected from the ground, throwing the robots into the air, they landed back down with a crash, each getting up slowly like the attack did nothing. One of them ran at her, it’s hands moving back and forth throwing small spikes at her, she batted them away with her spear, as she twirled through the air, sweeping her spear as she went as she knocked the knee’s from under the attacking robots legs, sending it to the floor. Alexia turned her spear around, plunging the head into the robot, it didn’t go deep but it was enough, her magic started acting immediately the body of the metal froze over, and in seconds Alexia stamped down on it, breaking the robot in half.
She ducked, as one of the robots came up behind her and took a sweep at her head but the other was waiting as it threw a leg out connecting with her gut sending her flying backwards, she landed out crying in pain, “Owww, that hurt,” she moaned as she climbed to her feet. Alexia gathered her thoughts for a second, ice seemed to hurt them, evidently from the one she had already defeated. She slammed the butt of her spear to the ground, runes being drawn there, they glowed blue for a second before the very air around the two remaining robots exploded, spikes of ice shot in all directions and Alexia rolled behind cover, she had expected to hurt the other two much, but it was a distraction to get away from them, she couldn’t deal with them all, and she was scared everything evil scared her, so she hid hoping they hadn’t seen her roll away.

Scion sat silently in the former mob bossess room, though now the surrounding area looked rather different. The walls were decked with those who'd already tried to defy his command, some of them still alive, and chained to the stone. Many of them were impaled on the walls with the steel spikes of the Stilions, as he'd come to call his minions. The creature within himself identified with the name as well, so he was happy with it, for the moment. In fact, he'd been feeling quite destinct feelings of joy lately, glad to be out in the open about his feelings. He looked once again at the Stilions surrounding him, then gestured with one hand, and the one closest stoof up. "Yes, my Lord?" He asked quietly. "Take 10 men, go to a high security prison. I want skilled fighters under my control, force may be nessisary in the near future. Make sure the men you take are strong. I want golems and thunderwalkers moving with you." Scion said, then gestured for the man to be off, before he lost patience with him. The others around him remained completely still, wrapt, waiting for his next words as though they waited for the word of god. Scion smiled, and laughed, and the human's still left in his followers shivered, chilled to they're very souls.

Shant's legs were restless from sitting for a while , so he got up. and stated to head west again. after a couple hours he entered a dismal looking dome. the town was not a vacation spot, vagabonds and vagrants all over the place. He tried looking for a place to stay for the night. He asked a begger where to find the residental area and for his silver necklace he found it. " geez, why are there so many damm beggers." , he said to himself.
on the way to the area , he heard metal crashing and the ground rumbling. he thought may be some idiot looking for a meal. then he heard a voice, it sounded as the person was in pain. He ran towards the sound as quick as he could to see who or what was there.

Alexia was still curled up behind her cover, a toppled over wagon. God knows why it was there; they had a lot more advanced technology to carry stuff around in this day and age. She peeked out from around the corner, the two steel person, robot, thing still there, searching for it seemed, and she also spied another, someone who hadn’t been taken, he really didn’t want to run into them steel things right now. Alexia took a deep breath, why did she have to wish for something exciting tonight. She mentally hit herself, what a stupid idea.
She took her spear in hand, and tapped it lightly on the butt of the staff end, the spear blade was sucked into the staff, and a new blade grew creating a halberd, a weapon she liked. Alexia rolled out from her hiding place tapping the ground once more, where she had green creepers sprouted from the ground, they dived at the two steel golems and wrapped around their feet holding them firmly in place. Alexia ran at them, jumping before she reached them, her pure black halberd swinging wildly. She was lucky the metal her blade was made of was stronger than steel it seemed as both of her opponent’s heads fell to the ground slowly, Alexia rolled as she hit the ground and once on her feet again headed towards the newcomer.
“I s-suggest we run, I doubt that will stop them for long,” Alexia stumbled over her words, she hated talking to new people.

"yeah i guess we have too now, they do patrol in packs." Shant said lightly. " umm I'm Shant nice to meet you i think...", he turned around to start running. "i guess we still have around five minutes till the rest come for their buddies over there." he began to run out of the alleyway.

Scion looked down contemptuously at Jeramiah Chang, one of the lead senitors of the local council. "I must admit," Scion said, "This has been rather boring. I can sense the fear and darkness in your heart, and yet, I can't bring myself to transform you. Your a nothing." He laughed. "You didn't even provide me with a challenge." He scowled, "Not very amusing sport for me. Whats the use in taking over this world if I don't have any fun doing it?" He asked. The man whimpered in response, trying to draw away from Scion, but Scion's men held him fast. Scion heaved a sigh, "You waste my time." He said sadly, "I'm bored with you, its time for this to end." He stood up, and walked towards the man, who fought the guards ever more desperately with every step Scion took.
"Oh no, I don't think so." Scion said, smiling, enjoying the man's fear. "You're not going to get away." He reach out, and grasped the man's face with one hand, lifting him off the ground. Muffled screams emerged as the man fought, trying to wrench Scion's hand off his face. But to no avail, Scion's hand slowly contracted, crushing the man's head. He dropped the lifeless corpse to the floor, a discarded toy, and turned to his men. "Find me someone challenge, I tire of this rabble. There's no challenge to this, and I'm not having any fun." His men scrambled to obey, but one was to slow, and Scion grabbed him, determined to amuse himself for a little while.
It wasn't peaceful anymore, even those outside the building could hear the disturbing, low screams. Not surprising, considering how deeply buried underground Scion and his secret new organization were.

“I’m… I’m Alexia,” she replied not sure if she should be giving her name to a stranger, though she had just saved him kinda and he hadn’t attacked her yet, so she should be safe. They had to get out of sight there were too many patrols to stay out in public.
“Do you know anywhere to hide?” Alexia asked, “We can’t stay out here with all these things about,” she visible shuddered at the thought of them.

Shant began to look around to find three options. That being that there were two trash cans, a deserted house, and a supply truck. “Ok… um your choices are the cans, the house or the truck. I suggest the house because it seems the safer of the two, either way your choice Alexia.”

“The house,” Alexia muttered, it was much safer than the truck someone could drive off with them, not a good idea. Trash cans were just disgusting; she would rather not get her clothes dirty. She entered the house carefully, looking out for any tramps, or evil people.
Seeing none she visible relaxed until she heard the screaming, low moaning in the darkness, sounding as it came from below. That wasn’t good either, today was turning out to be a bad day for Alexia.

Scion twitched, and stopped tourturing his subordinate. He could hear the low pat pat pat of feet upstairs, trodding around in the supposedly abandoned house. He could sense them up there, and he could sense one of them had considerable strength. A slow smile cracked across his face, "At last, someone worthy of playing with." He said, turning and walking up the hidden staircase. When he emerged in the open front room, he laid eye's on a young woman, who appeared to be in her mid teens. "Hello there." He said brightly, shifting so his body was illuninated. "I'm Scion. I believe I'm going to have to kill you, considering you have little darkness for me to infest."

Alexia twisted to face the new comer, the person who wanted to kill her and by the looks of it the person who had started all this steel business off. He looked strong, very strong if she was going to be honest with herself. Maybe someone she couldn’t defeat? She hadn’t come across many that had outclassed her. But this guy was otherworldly.
Alexia span her halberd into a defensive position as if to say “Come and get me.”

Scion grinned wickedly, his black sword suddenly in his hands. His ruined blade glowed brightly with power, and suddenly there was a wave of electricity being blown across the room. Scion charged right through it, getting in close to the woman as the lightning followed in behind, and attacked with all of his strength. The woman took a few blows, and was knocked back against a wall. She regained her posture just as the electricity reached her, and slammed the butt of her halberd down on the ground, the electricity running harmlessly over a suddenly present shield. Scion grinned rougishly as the shield went down, and swung his sword at her while she was off-balance, knocking the halfberd out of her hands and halfway across the room. He drew himself up suddenly, in an almost rigal manner, and thrust his sword at her head, attempting to impale her against the wall.

Alexia side stepped the attacking turning slightly and kicking her leg up, hard. She connected with Scions hand knocking the sword from it and into the air. The blue haired warrior jumped after it, grabbing the hilt and landing carefully before she turned back towards her enemy.
Alexia had never wielded a sword before, it was different but she found it too her liking, swift and easy to use unlike a halberd that was mostly clumsy compared. She took position of what she understood was a low-guard in sword fighting techniques, one of the difficult ones she recalled, a high-guard was always much preferred in sword fighting.
She thrust at Scion not expecting the sudden burst of energy as three fireballs shot out of the tip that definitely was not meant to happen. She could only focus magic through spears how could she with this sword? She didn’t dwell on the fact as she followed through with two slashes, one to the upper body, and one to the lower.
|

Post by prime on Mar 28, 2007 20:37:26 GMT -5
Scion grinned as the fireballs hit him, powering him up immensily, but it was another thing entirely when his upper body was spereated from his lower, and then cut again into thirds. There was a brief explosion of light, and a shadowy figure with a sword was breifly visible, before fading away. Scion laughed as his body came back together, though his eye's looked subtly different. "I'm afraid that isn't going to work." He said, looking down at the young woman. He riased his hand, a massive steel spike exploding from it, and thrust it forwards at the woman.
It stopped an inch in front of her face, Scion grunted, looking down at his stomach. A nodatchi with a blue tinted blade protruded from his stomach, and slowly he body froze over, taken by the power of ice. The sword slowly withdrew, and Scion's body shattered, reveiling a more human, black robed version of Scion. "Hello." He said calmly, "My name is Gene. Thank you for freeing me from that...thing." Gene said, "It was rather appauling, having it feed on my heart like that." He took a deep breath. "Its odd being dead, but I suppost I can't blame you for your actions, and it doesnt seem like any harm has been done."
He grinned suddenly. "Its nice to meet you. You really are quite beautiful you know. I never thought the face of death could be so comforting."

Alexia let go of her sword as it burned her hand, it dissolved into nothing as it fell to the floor. She started to stare at what was now Scion, a man who claimed to be named Gene. Who claimed to be dead, was that even possible? She didn’t think so.
Alexia blushed at the comment of her being beautiful, which wasn’t true in her mind anyway. She didn’t reply to anything he said, just stood there as if waiting for something.

Shant didnt understand the events that unfolded before him. all he saw were flashes of fire and energy. Near the end he knew Alexia could handle herself. so he began to walk toward the one called scion or gene he was still confused. " umm could you explain what happend to you" he said calmly
