“And that is why we need to become an alliance,” Aurora called over the masses of Earth, and Mar’s leaders, he had come to Earth, to a gathering of all species, races, and people to offer an alliance of ever lasting peace to help each other defend against unknown threats, to help each other expand and to unite there peoples.
Dave, Aurora’s son stood beside him. He had been called to represent Earth, as he now was one of the only Adepts left on the planet most of there peoples feared Earth, as lately more and more killings of Adepts had been uncovered, a reason why Aurora had come, he had planned to alliance a lot later in the future, but this had forced his hand.
“Dad,” Dave murmured, “Do you really think they’ll accept? They’ve been killing us off, they fear we’ll strike.” He complained, as Aurora looked over his shoulder, an eyebrow raised.
“Son that is one of the reason why I have come,” Aurora answered as he looked back over the crowd, all seated like they used to do in the House’s of Parliament in England, they were conferring, all asking the same question, ‘Should they accept?’
The current US President rose from his chair, opening his mouth to speak, “We acc-,” BOOM. The building shook, seconds later the door exploded inwards, crashing into some of the attendants killing them, Aurora and Dave stood poised, ready to defend, the rest of Earth’s leaders were cowering under there desks, or running from the door, to get behind the two saviours. Three figures entered all draped in black heavy robes, the middle; seemingly the leader spoke, his voice harsh and cold.
“The Adepts, and Earth have been thorns in our sides for two long, you will all die today,” And with that a green beam of energy shot outwards from the three, smashing into Aurora sending him backwards and into the wall.
“Dad, get out of HERE,” Dave shouted, as he ran to the attackers, he knew his Dad was a lot slower in his old age, Dave would have to deal with them. It seemed Aurora agreed, who had vanished in seconds, leaving the battle up to Dave. He shot forward, the first of the hooded one’s engaging him, only to be punched in the gut, making him bend over in pain, but found a knee meeting his face, breaking whatever was hidden under the hood. The evil one now dead, Dave jumped over two beams of energy thrown his way, his hands and body glowing with white light, his holy aura, the second evil one feel too, a beam of white light impaling his chest, killing him instantly.
The leader looked upon Dave, “You have won this day,” he said simply, and vanished in a poof of black smoke. Dave sighed, the alliance probably wouldn’t go through now, and it looked like Earth, Mars, the Adepts had a new enemy, one they didn’t know about, something just like they had feared. He would need help, a lot of help if he was to survive, and help Earth once again survive.
