Prime had spent a great many months gathering together his followers and his power, gifting it among the priests and acolytes below him. Laborously had he assembled the Immortalus, a large cult of secret worshipers dedicating they're lives solely to Prime. The order worked by subconcious summons, Prime was jacked directly into they're minds. His white, neutral presence flowing into all of his followers as needed, with limits set to each member dictated by they're importance to the Immortalus. Prime now had a sect placed in every city, having assured himself that each and every member was imbued with an innate sense of the world, knowing what was beyond and what was below. They knew when any why to fight, and in what to believe. Specifically, they believed in Prime. They believed he could keep those above and those below out, and they knew he would need complete control over the dimension to do so. So they submitted to him, and gained a little of Prime, who gave of himself to gain numbers and power.
"Finally, it is time." Prime said, sitting at a mohogany desk in a well lit room in his comfy chair. Theodor and Rachel stood in front of him, his two most powerful warrior priests. Theodor was the picture of subtility, skinny and graceful, he had long arms and a long reach with his wide bladed spear. Rachel had a rapier by her side, and wielded it with expert grace, adapting to all situations by the strength of her blade and her agility. He had chosen them, however, for they're minds. They were both exellent tacticians, and would serve him well in the many battles to come. "I've gone through this before, though not for any reason I could understand. It'd time now though, I understand my purpose. Or the purpose I've given myself in any case." He said, "You two relay the orders through the lines. I was officials disappearing, I want them replaced where possible, I want every head of nation in the world dead within two hours." Prime said. Theodor and Rachel clasped they're fists over they're hearts and left the room. Prime could sense they're determination as they left, and it warmed him. He might be taking over the world, maybe the universe, but at least he knew he was doing it for the right reasons. Still, it was a pity so many would have to die. But the heads of state and the like were no real loss.
"They won't even know whats happened until its over..." Prime muttered, turning around to look at the chard of the Immortalus. It had been divided into sections now, so large was his force. At the top was himself, Prime. A god in the eye's of his followers, though diminished to a more reasonable level, given the powers he'd dispensed around his army. Below him, to the right and left respectively, Theodor and Rachel. The only other two in the organization to have they're names known as such. Below Theodor was a box labeled "The Black Hand", and for the moment that division was the one Prime depended on the most. Covert operations, stealth and silent destruction was what he needed at the moment. Below the Black Hand were labels divided into sections of 100 people. A1 - A5 where the Elite, those directly below the Priesthood in the Black Hand. Progressively moving from from B-1 to Z-20 were the strongest to weakest warriors. They would go to work momentarily.
Below Rachel's name, on the other side of the chart, was "Immortalus Rosarius" the immortal legions who knew no fear. The priests were a massive linked strategic mind, as one in they're strength of will. Blow them was the section, just a single section, labeled "Red Culture" the second mass mind that made up the warriors of the Immortalus. They had sacrificed they're individuality to change themselves into the perfect fighting force, directing Prime's power only where needed, directed by the Priesthood mind above them to the optimum targets from a safe distance. They're time would come later, though Prime doubled the massmind would survive through combat. Still, he had high hopes for them. They were all equal, as he had given of his destructive power, they could delete the very fabic if reality. The ultimate destructive technique. Though it wasn't as though they could fire it very far. He did want to planet, and most of its people, alive and intact.
Prime put he feet up and sighed, floating slightly in the air. He only hoped his old friends would understand him instead of trying to stop him. He'd have trouble killing them, but there were far larger things at stake these days.

Kuro sighed aloud. Though his training was incessant and his body stronger than ever, he still felt uneasy. Something foul was afoot; he could feel it in his bones. It felt to him like the calm before the storm and somehow no matter how hard he trained he still felt as if he had left his umbrella at home.
Kuro stood up from his cross legged position where he had been meditating. He stepped to the door of the small cottage he had built, each step making a distinctive KLUNK sound on the wooden floor. He stopped to slip on his boots and then opened the door and stepped out onto the sand which crunched loudly beneath his feet. He surveyed the area, taking in a deep breath while doing so. He loved the smell of the ocean. The waves could be heard crashing onto the beach not far away, there were large patches where the earth was scarred from his physical training, the dormant volcano in which he had lived in as a younger man loomed up in the distance, and then there was his cottage which fit in perfectly with the slightly shabby surroundings. To another man this would have been paradise, but Kuro couldn't shake the uneasiness. Even secluded from the rest of the world, he could almost smell the danger that lurked ahead. Finally, his curiosity got the better of him and he decided to go to the nearest major city to investigate. If all was well, he'd at least know he was just imagining the feeling and it wasn't like he was exactly busy. With a flash, Kuro had teleported to Osaka and he was sure there would be some news there if there was news to be had.

Aurora sighed as he rubbed his temples with his fingers; he was having a very stressful week. Many government officials and agents had been killed, or worse were missing and with no evidence to point to who had done it, Aurora was becoming very annoyed and very stressed.
He sat across the street from another government building, he was sure this was where the terrorists or whatever they were would strike here next. It was the next logically target, to him anyway. So there he sat, waiting to see if his hunch was right.

Ender was walking through Osaka, trying to absorb as much information as possible. Things were wrong. Very wrong. He couldn't pinpoint how or why, other than the government officials' deaths, but rumor always tended to be a good place to start. In cities, rumor spread like wildfire, and as a psychic, Ender would easily pick it all up.
Suddenly, the boy felt a surge of power nearby. He lightly jogged over to where he felt the source, spotting someone he hadn't seen in a while.
"So, you felt it too, Kuro?"
OOC: I think Kuro and Ender met before... >.>

OOC: I dunno, but we'll pretend they have anyway XD
BIC: No sooner than Kuro had arrived when someone he hadn't seen in well over a year came jogging up. "Am I that popular?" he thought with a small amount of amusement. Ender came jogging up, wearing those same reflective shades he always wore. He smirked at Ender's question; he wasn't the only one who had felt the disturbance. "Yeah, I've been feeling it for a while. It's just gotten so strong recently I felt I had to investigate. Do you know anything about it at all?"
Kuro, eying Ender's shades, took his own off and put them in his pocket. "I think we'll probably draw enough attention as it is," he said, "so there's no use in looking suspicious."

"The sun's really bright, though," Ender said, not really lying at all. "And no, I came here to find out. There's no real strong rumor going on. The only things that I'm picking up are small whispers, conspiracies, nothing really too trustworthy."

"Well that doesn't help much, I was hoping something BIG would've happened by now. I'm not much of an investigator so I wouldn't know where to start digging," said Kuro with the smirk fading from his face. Kuro stood there silently for a second before continuing. "I know that it's just rumors, but rumors usually have some fact in them, don't they? Can you tell me anything that sounds at least somewhat reputable? If not, where would you suggest we start looking?" Kuro was calm in his tone, but he was craving any information now that he knew that there was someone else who had felt the same things. It was times like these that he wished he had more friends; he might have had a connection here in Osaka that could tell him anything that they'd heard or noticed.

"The only real credible thing I've heard is that it's not terrorists, and the killings are all part of one big cult-like organization's plan." Ender shrugged. "Simple extrapolation tells me it's some villainous type trying to take over the world. Nothing too spectacular."

"Appearances can be deceiving," said Kuro wisely. "If you've been feeling what I've been feeling, you should know this isn't some little cult killing a few people. It's something far more sinister and far more powerful than any group I've seen in a while. I hope I'm wrong and this is just another group of self-righteous imbeciles who are dumber than they are disorganized, but this seems too perfect for something that can be scoffed at." Kuro was sure he'd be met with some skepticism about this, but he continued on. "We have had government officials just disappear, right? People have just died inexplicably, right? Other missing, right? And yet there's no mass panic? Only whispers? Whoever is behind this seems to be doing an exceptional job at not only controlling the media, because as we all know the media feeds on tragedies, but they've also managed to keep the family members and the government quiet. If a large number of prominent people simply disappeared, there should be a great deal of suspicion, but look at everyone!" Kuro exclaimed, sweeping his arm to indicate the passerby, "It's all just business as usual with them."

"It's not as if you need to work that hard to make the media go elsewhere." A voice, light and witty, yet tainted with darkness, spoke to the heroes. A faint form, barely visible to even their eyes, faded in. The ethereal form seemed to be that of a man, clad in a shadowy cloak. Bits of metal armor beneath his cloak occasionally peaked through, revealling that he was attired well for combat.
"At ease. I may not be fresh from the perfumery, but I'm not the rat that you smell." The man lowered his hood, revealing a helmeted head. "Forgive my appearance. I came here in my official dress, and since I don't want to draw attention, I'm only letting through wavelengths of light invisible to the normal person." He extended a hand to Kuro, obviously covered in a sturdy clawed gauntlet.
"The name is George Buckland. I once was a contemporary of Zebedee Taylor's, until we had a bit of an...ethical falling out. I came here following some leads from my organization about some upstart that had assimilated the local branch of our own group."
"I'm not saying I'm one of the 'good guys', but if you'll accept me, I believe that I may be of aid to you here." George said, his smile barely showing in the shadows of his helmet. "It would be a pity of we had to approach this situation from two seperate angles."

Kuro instantly turned to the voice, assuming his fighting stance. What initially appeared to be a ghost was revealed to be a man. Kuro was suspicious for more than the man's voice; he came fully armored as if expecting a battle. When the man told him to relax, he did so rather reluctantly and it was more out of not wanting to draw further attention to himself than out of trusting the stranger. He shook the man's hand politely, as he obviously knew something. People don't just butt in to people's conversations in such extravagant manners simply for show after all. "Kuro," he said curtly in response to George giving him his name.
After listening to George's explanation, Kuro spoke. "I dunno what Ender here wants to do, but I'll take you up on that offer. We have a mutual interest in this subject and I don't think I'll find much out on my own. I'll team up with you for the time being, but as you may have surmised I am one of the "good guys" so after this is over, we'll go our separate ways until fate deems it necessary for us to meet again."

At the sound of the voice, Ender merely looked over his shoulder. His defensive 'stance' was his normal standing position, though maybe slightly better posture-wise. His hands were still placed casually in his pockets despite the possibility of a threat. This was due mostly to the fact that his enhanced adrenaline was pumped first throughout his brain and then the rest of his body, thus his psionic powers would work much quicker than his arms.
"I take my allies where I can get them. Just don't cross me or someone I know and everything will be happy."

Eddi kicked down the doors of the cathedral located in the center of town, his foot was immidiatly repelled from the inside of the church, having been filled with violent intent. He grinned, his Priest had be right, it was impossible to fight in this place. He motioned his men inside, they fanned out around the empty cathedral, moving the priests outside through use of empty threats, as if they'd intended any harm, the sanctuary would have destroyed them. Once secured, Eddi ordered a few of his men to begin spreading whispers of the Immortalus, where to join them, and a limited perspective of they're ideals. He instructed his men to avoid telling anyone what they were or who lead them, as that would be far to foolish. There were many men out there who could easily recognise the name Prime. His men moved out quickly to spread only the vaguest rumors and to insight curiosity. Eddi was confident they're would be more to join Prime soon, if only as soldiers even lower than Eddi himself, unblessed by the power of Prime. He shrugged, his men had already begun refurnishing the place. A tapestry of a white katana hanging down in the middle of the cathedral, giant and impacting. Eddi grinned, it was vague, but there were bound to be a few who recognised even that. It was good then, that this place would allow no violence within it. For that reason, it shortly became the only place where the Immortalus could be openly sought. The only source of 'stability' in a world where government had suddenly become chaos.

"That all is very well understood. Not saying that I wouldn't have uses for brilliant minds like you two in my business, but I won't pressure you with it. Not at all. As of right now, I'll be happy just assisting in flushing out whomever this lowlife is." George glanced around, and then pondered for a moment.
"Do either of you have any information on the exact locations and styles of these killings? That's the first thing. Any unique marks symbols found? We may need to visit the crime scenes to discern the true nature of our foe. I've heard that quite often, secret societies use distinctive weapons to perform killings, as a trademark of sorts." George mused, still glancing around as if expecting to see something.

"I just got here, so I don't know anything other than what Ender here's told me," replied Kuro.
Kuro didn't particularly like this character, but he reminded himself that this was important and that he'd have to deal with it until everything was fine again.

A short man in a white, all encompassing cloak jumped down from the building above. If examined closely, it seemed as though Prime's presence hung in the air about him. "If you seek information, go to the church. You'll know which one, as within it you are unable to commit any type of harm." He said, then nodded shortly, and walked away, sideways, out of sight.

"Now, you see, THAT is the type of help to REALLY be suspicious of." George blurted. "I'm assuming that he must be masking his presence to high hell for none of us to be able to follow, seeing how one of us is one of the most powerful psions ever known, and the other can read ki like a book."
"Personally, I lost him too. I'm wired with about eighty different kinds of sensors, and not even my magic detectors are getting a blip. We're dealing with something ****ed up beyond belief here." George moved his hands inside his gauntlets a little more as if typing, hoping to pull something up.
"No anomalous gravitic, thermal, or radiative readings either. He just POOFed." George said, running through the last few seconds in his head.

"Only thing I've got is a little thought bubble of which cathedral he wants us to go to. Now if he's telling the truth about the whole non-harm thing, I wouldn't really mind stepping in to talk and such. But, I couldn't read his mind to find any intentions, bad or otherwise. If ya don't mind," Ender quickly cast the cathedral's image and location into the others' minds, "that's the only thing I got."

"Gotcha. I'll run it through my mental uplink to my group, and I'll have them match it... to an image from a hacked spy satellite. Then I can tell you what's up with it." George adjusted his goggles, making sure they were centered over his eyes. He paused for a moment, licking his lips, and flexing his fingers.
"I'm not picking up any hostiles right now. No signs of any kind of organized defenses outside the cathedral, though they could be hiding or blending in. Can't get so much as a look inside the building, though." George said as the data finished loading, and began walking in the general direction of the cathedral.

"Well, then," said Kuro to Ender, "Let's follow this gentleman to the church so we can get to the bottom of this. If what that man said is true though, we can't hurt them unless we lure them outside or outsmart them." Kuro said this last part with a grin; he already had a plan forming.

A man appeared before them in short order, covered in heavy mithril armor and wearing a pure white mask on his face. "You seek the church?" He asked, "You wish to know of the Immortalus and our aims?" He gestured for them to follow, turned around, and walked away. After a few paces he began to hover above the ground, and move a little faster. "Come!" He called over his shoulder. And, once again, anyone who looked would notice he felt like Prime.
***
"Get ready!" Eddi yelled to his men, "We're about to have some special guests. Under no circumstances are any of you to leave the church. Don't bother threatening them, they already know about the churches conditions. " He called, "None of you try to be a hero, no one here is capable of defeating these people, even if we work together. These are the kind of people Teodor and Rachel should be taking on! Not us! Answer the questions that ask of you, don't give away any locations or names, that is all they need to know. If they seem worthy, I've no doubt that the White Hand will find his way to them." He scowled around at his men to enforce the importance of these instructions, "That is all, carry on!"

"How oddly convenient," Ender mused. He put his hands in his pockets and casually strolled behind the man, walking at a slow, even pace just to be annoying.
Eventually (and after a lot of impatient growls) they reached the cathedral. Ender lazily sauntered over to the steps and pushed open the door. His current lethargy wasn't an attempt to be annoying; he was dampening any aggressive thoughts in his mind so as not to trip the cathedral's defenses.
