Valar had been in this hot, stupid place to long. It was rocky, very hot and boring, no one to kill, since everyone here was already dead, or not able to fight. Valar was in hell, and was currently escaping. He was nearing the portal out of the place. Apparently a dragon was guarding it, difficult for Valar. He always had a soft spot for dragons. He could hear it roaring, sounding like it was in pain, probably his imagination. Valar rounded the corner, and he was wrong the dragon slumped on the floor, and a certain someone he knew cleaning his sword.
“Fancy seeing you here Deviant,” he called, “It’s been along time, two thousand years to be exact.”
Valar walked over, noticing Deviant’s hand bleeding. “Want me to heal that?” he asked.

"Nah, its no problem Valar. Its just the Dragon's Spirit has embedded itself in my hand, you can see part of the sphere here, see?" He said, holding his hand up, the red and black eye of the dragoon spirit swirling menacingly. "Besides, you should know, I've never given a damn about pain." He shrugged. "And as for those 2000 years, I got killed a month after we last met. I spent a few days being tortured, before I decided to escape. Corse, then I ran into this beast. I suppost I've been fighting it for the last 2000 years." He said, looking suddenly quite confused. "I can't imagen it would've taken me that long though. This brute is powerful yes, but its slow. Damn but it must've taken me a long time to wear it down, hehe. Ah well, my sense of time during battle was never very good." He said. "The swirling portal up there seems to be the way out." He said, pointing at a swirling cyan vortex. "Only colors besides red and black I've seen in this place." He said, reffering to the portal. He started walking towards it. "Lets get out of here eh?"

Valar took the lead on the path to the portal. He stopped before entering, sensing its power, but dismissed it, its power was weak nothing he could use to further himself. He jumped through and cursed as he materialised on the other side, he was thrown into the ground hard. Valar began to rise to his feet, a bad idea. It seemed Deviant had jumped through and had been thrown into Valar. Now he was dirty, in pain and had his friend on top of him. He pushed him off and got to his feet looking around, they were in a dark room, the only way out a pair of gates.
“Looks like the Gates of Hell are a reality,” Valar laughed. Bad idea, a few people rushed out of the shadows, all wielding some kind of mace. They had probably heard him, and were ready to kill. They seemed to falter when Valar showed no fear, but kept running at him. The first swung at his head, which Valar easily ducked under and drew his dagger plunging it into the attackers gut. He withdrew it and met the next guard, another trying to crush his skull, he met the mace with his dagger and extended his palm to the guy’s chest, a blast of power was smashed into it throwing him back and killing him instantly. The next he dodged leaving it for Deviant, and the last he set alight with fire burning him to a crisp.
“Human guards?” Valar enquired.

Deviant punched the man left for him in the forhead, and his head promptly exploded, showering Deviant and Valar in blood and gore. "Not to much fun." Deviant commented.
"You wan fun?" A voice rang out from the direction of the gates, which now stood open. "We'll give you fun!" Said another voice, and then another cried out, "Bleed die pain suffering anguish DIE INTRUDERS!" Magical force reached out, and blasted Deviant. Cursing, he back flipped, got his feet on the ground and charged forwards. His sword came down on the lead man's head, but met a barrier half an inch from the man's skin, and the man blasted Deviant again. He grunted and he landed on the ground, then shoved himself back to his feet. A dark energy hovered in the air around the three men, and the portal above Deviant slowed noticably as power was drawn from it. "Ah, I see." Deviant said, reaching for his own power, the power that had so recently been sealed within his hand.
A red and white swirl of energy enveloped him, and he stepped out wearing black armor, with red spikes as though curved bones protruding from the armor, and seemingly drenched in blood. 20 eye's decorated his collar bone, and round the back of his neck, the 21st eye in the centre of his forhead. Great wings extended from his back, black bones, and a red leathery substance filling in the gaps. With a downflap of his wings, the energy around him burst, forcing the magic users back, and blowing out the ceiling above the portal, causing quite a few pieces of very heavy stone to fall into the portal, and others to fall through it and put Valar and Deviant in danger of being crushed.

Valar wasn’t worried about the stones, he threw his arms up and two blood red shields encased Deviant and himself. The ones that hit the shields were deflected off them and throw towards the attackers. This was pointless they still had there dark energy protecting them, the stones just bounced off. Once Valar was sure all rocks had stopped falling, he took the shields down and started to concentrate, muttering in elfish. The power of the portal switched, it was absorbed into Valar, the enemies seemed to notice this and one ran towards Valar, probably attempting to stop him. A futile attempt on there part. Valar again extended his palm towards the man in question and he was lifted off the ground his body shaking furiously bones cracking and breaking in all places, he was dropped to the ground. Dead.
“Attack now Deviant,” he commanded.

Deviant nodded sharpy, a swept a single wing out horizontally before him. Energy of concentrated evil swept out before him in a blade like apparition before him, and cut his two remaining enemies in half. The men's upper halves fell screaming to the floor, their lungs slowly losing strength as they bled to death. The gates before Deviant slammed shut, it seemed the rest of the castle knew about them now. He could feel the power within her, flowing from the spirit, and he perceaved a patter in that power. He examined it for a moment, "Spell?" He muttered. Activating it, he was surrounded by three bands of glowing, dark glyphs. They dispelled, and dark, evil energy charged inself in Deviants left hand, defying him to hold it still as it shoot about. Not knowing what possessed him, as he pointed his hand at the gates, he yelled. "DEMON DRAGON CANNON!"
The concentrated energy flashed forwards from his clenched fist, and blew the huge doors inwards, bowing them outwards, and startling the many guards on the other side. Deviant grinned, "Perhaps this will prove entertaining." He said to Valar.

“Yes. I believe it will.” Valar replied, as he strode forward. A few puny soldiers stepped through the blown out doors, ready to fight the two intruders, or ready to die Valar thought.
Two soldiers ran at him both swinging at him together, Valar blocked one of them but his arm got slightly cut, oozing dark red blood. His threw a punch into the lucky one’s gut, while slicing the others head off. Again he dodged a blow from a sword, and thrust his sword into the guards gut.
He motioned to Deviant to take point.

"Gladly." Deviant muttered, walking forwards before Valar and cutting the guards aside like so much butter. None could stand before his huge sword, many didn't even see him move and he slashed his way through the body of the army, they're pathetic attacks bouncing off his almighty dragoon armor, seeing as Deviant didn't feel much of a need to block any of them. He giant wings swept down, knocking over soldiers in huge swaths, the wind beating against those nearby, strong enough to knock them off their feet. Deviant raised its sword, and it hummed in the wind. The humming increased, and Deviant looked at it with concern, he didn't need to become weaponless in a hoard like this. But as he examined it, he noticed it has begun to glow a faint golden with holy energy. The energy seemed to be charged from the winds. Deviant shrugged, and swung it down.
A shockwave of wind and energy spread out before him, killing many of the soldiers and putting huge gashes in the walls and ground around them. Bodies were severed in half, internal organs vacated people's internals. Blood splattered the walls, gore was lifted into the wind, and as the attack continued, it collected a haze of blood throughout it, even as it cut down more soldiers and destroyed the stone work. Deviant lowered the sword with a stunned expression. He turned towards Valar, "That was cool."

“Very,” Valar agreed, he strode passed Deviant weaving his way through the bodies that had been tossed around. He reached for the door to the next room, and was blasted back; as the door was throw outwards. Out strode two very big people, both equipped with mauls. Valar got back to his feet.
He ran towards them, one of them swung missing Valar inches, his maul sending shockwaves through the floor. Valar ran up the maul that was stuck in the ground and sent a blast of fire at the giant’s torso, scorching it badly. Valar jumped, right over the giant’s head and swivelled round cutting the giants throat, making it fall to the floor.
“One down, one to go.” Valar smiled.

Deviant propelled himself forwards at hundreds of miles an hour, and planted his knee in the giants chest, chrushing its torse. He looked towards Valar, "Sorry did you say something." He asked politely, then cut the giants head off before it could suck in enough of a breath to scream. "This is actually kind of boring now that I have so much power." He stated matter of factly. "Maybe they have a strong leader, to bad I'm shit at sensing things like that."

Valar nodded, he did indeed feel a strong presence, one that was currently standing behind him. He jumped quickly out the way, dodging a massive great axe that had cleaved the air where he just stood.
“One master,” he said to Deviant. Valar took up a defensive stance, and got ready to fight, he threw a few powerful fire balls at the Dark Lord, which were absorbed into the armour. “Damn, why do they always have magic fields,” he said to himself. “Deviant, you try there is nothing I can do yet,” he said.

"Ok!" Deviant said happily, he flew forwards with a mighty sweep of his wings, and batted the giant piece of armor in the chest plate, knocking it back several feet. "Its rather big isn't it?" He said pensivily, then attempted to deflect a blow from the huge axe, which didn't work so well as it caught onto his weapon and slammed him into the ground, creating a large crater. The master grabbed him, and slammed him with a resounding bang into the castle wall afterwards. Deviant pointed his left fist at the master, grinning, as it crackled with black and red energy. He grinned at the master, "DEMON DRAGON CANNON!" A massive black beam of energy surrounded by red tracers slammed into the master, and drove him back across the hall into the opposite wall, pummeling him for a few moments until the spell snapped off. The master picked up his fallen axe, and renewed his assault on Deviant. "Jusus but-!" He dodged a fast attack from the axe, shooting further into the air. "He's tough!"
