Ardia walked slowly, allowing the unsubdued winds to blow her hair back. Her jacket rippled as well, and she fingered Lemisatra fondly. She wasn't exaclty sure of where she was; the barren prairie seemed to be trying to pull down the elf's content mood, but Ardia couldn't see how it should. The only thing she found sad was the prairie's colorless tone, the monotonous sounds, and the state of the wildlife.
Shaking her head, the Summoner halted unexpectedly, drawing her rapier in a hopeful way. Summoning Lukami might not be reasonable, but he always made her feel...well...perfect.
The shimmering blue wolf sniffed her mockingly, then watched as she sheathed the sword. His eyes seemed to be asking her something...
"Are you sure?" she asked, knowing the anwer.
Thw Summon lowered his head and seemed to charge her, but his head slipped under her legs, boosting her onto his back ...wrongways, though. She flipped around without effort. And the electrical wolf began to run, sending the world streaking by. I'm bound to find civilization sooner this way! she thought happily.

Eli's travels led him to the empty, lifeless prairie. "My, what happened here?" He lifted the giant paintbrush he carried with him at all times, the sturdy pole made of enchanted bamboo, the brush itself made out of some mystical animal's fur. He reached into his leather messenger bag, and produced a single mint leaf. He gently dropped the leaf, which slowly and peacefully floated down to the ground, and touched it with the tip of the paintbrush. Instantly, the tip became the color of the leaf, magical paint spreading throughout its hairs.
"The earth was not meant to be barren," Eli whispered to himself, and he dragged the paintbrush skillfully around the prairie. New life sprung from the dead wasteland, fresh flowers and grass popping up from the soil. Eli soon filled up a good portion of the land with plants, and he kept doing so until he met up with Ardia. "Who might you be?"
