"Let's see what I can do here..." Ods said, closing his eyes for a moment, and letting his mind hone in on the greatest output of carbon dioxide in the structure. About thirty feet away, there was a room that was full of guards. He wasn't sure what they were waiting for, but he'd take them out of comission, then rejoin the group. He opened his eyes, and vanished in a flash of green light.
He reappeared in the air above the guards, with a loud cackle. Guns were immediately drawn, and brought to bear on him. Dozens of bullets streaked towards him, and Ods vanished once more, reappearing on the floor. He brought up one of his hands with a wave, and instantly a vending machine appeared in the air in front of him. He gave a wide grin, and then thrust his fist into the air. The machine tipped onto its side, and went flying through the guards, bowling them over, or carrying them with it, until it shot through a nearby wall. The rest of the soldiers quickly took cover, taking aim again. A shot rang out, and for a moment, Od's body flickered black.
"No matter. Just a flesh wound." Ods muttered to himself, and then pointed at the ceiling. Without any further warning, a mass of lines of blue light descended, encircling the man that had shot him. They jerked upwards, implanting the man's head in the ceiling. Ods turned to face the rest of the soldiers. "What next?" A burst of automatic fire greeted him, though it was blocked by his shields this time.
"A pity. If I had soldiers anywhere near the caliber of this group, I would have succeeded." He vanished once more, and reappeared at the back of the room.
"You all are still nowhere near what it would take to beat me. Phantom Child!" Ods shouted, and flung his left hand out with a considerable ammount of flair. All of the soldiers were scooped into the air by invisible force, and promptly disarmed by something resembling telekinesis. "And now we finish! Dance!" Ods shouted, and closed his hand. With that, the room was instantly spattered in crimson as the guards were turned inside out.
"A quick and painless death. Fitting way for me to dispatch evil." Ods muttered, and smiled to himself. He started to take a step, and then jerked. He stopped, and looked down. "Crap. Now that's unfortunate." The bullethole was dead center in his chest, and the blood was coming out in spurts. He had definately been hit somewhere vital, and he could only use his powers to suppress the bleeding for so long. He closed his eyes, and ran a check. His power was at 15% after that excessive display, and he had only taken out the reserves. Tacitus and whomever he had chosen as his elite bodyguards were nowhere near him. Closing his eyes again, he focused on the energy signature of Joseph's suit, and teleported to his side.
"Right here, boss. I..." He paused and gasped for breath. "Took out the reinforcements. There's still guards around, but I think they won't be near as much an issue now." Ods kept his hand clasped over the bloody wound on his chest, hiding it from Joseph. "Just saying... My powers are almost burnt out, so I may need to leave if I get pegged too hard by this General guy." Ods paused, and dismissed some of the purplish blood from his wound with a wave. Crap... It's an artery or something. I can't just patch it up and run... I've gotta keep a forcefield on it at all times. Otherwise, I'm dead in minutes... Ods thought to himself, feeling a considerable ammount of panic.

Saturos lunged at his next attacker, his sword cutting through the gun cleanly, and punched the soldier. The soldier was thrown off balance, and Saturos roundhouse kicked him. The soldier was sent tumbling, but when he hit the floor Saturos drove his sword through the soldier's chest and heart. Saturos was about to attack the next soldier when he was thrown off balance by someone charging into him. Saturos staggered about, regaining his balance just in time to deflect his attacker, who turned to face him.
It was not an ordinary soldier. In fact, he did not look like he was under the General's control at all. He wore a helmet, but it was nothing like the other soldiers'. It was a navy blue, and pointed as though it had a beak, like some mechanical bird head, with black goggles. The soldier was wearing a breast plate, but it was mechanical, obviously there for more than just armour. Connected to the breast plate were shoulder pads which were just that. He wore thick, armoured gloves, but they were so that he had complete freedom with his fingers. Hanging on his belt were a number of small pouches. He also wore kneww pads, and heavy boots that added an inch or two to the man's height. On the man's back was what loooked like a lightweight jet pack. All his armour was navy blue, and underneath he wore skintight black material on his top half, and black combats on the bottom. Underneath his jetpack, in their holders, were his melee weapons. They were like tonfas, but they were blades rather than blunt.
"Who are you then?" Saturos demanded, his sword flashing in the gunfire. "I am Special Agent One, Scorpio," the soldier said, one hand on his hip. "I'd rather not fight you, if you don't mind. I'm here to talk to the general, so if you'd just step aside..."
Saturos's answer was to kick the remains of a gun at the Agent. Quick as a flash, Scorpio had pulled out one of his elbow blades and sliced clean through the gun-parts, sending it flying off to either side of him. "Thought that might be the case," Sorpio said, sighing. "Alright. I have an offer for you too."

OOC: Sorry to keep you guys waiting. Kaz, if you want to still be in this story, you're gonna need to actually post. If not, we're going to have to assume your character disappeared or left or something while nobody was looking.
BIC: Ods might have been able to fool the average viewer into thinking he was unhurt, but the sensors in Joseph's glasses could, and did, see the energy signature of the force field Ods had placed over his wound. Joseph winced -- there was no questioning that it was serious. This is why I never went to medical school, he thought. Though it might help now...
"No need to hide that from me, Ods," Joseph said. "If you need to get it taken care of, do it. I'd rather you get out alive now than go out in a blaze of glory in a few minutes. I'm gonna go find Saturos. Join me if you think you can, otherwise, I hope we meet again. You've been a great help."
With that, Joseph broke off towards the door. It didn't take him long to find Saturos. Now who's that guy in the blue? he thought, confused. Definitely not with Tactitus. If he was, he'd have attacked Saturos by now. Not to mention, that equipment is certainly not any kind of military-issue I've ever seen. Joseph didn't have much time to think about it, though. The guy in blue wasn't attacking Saturos, but there were soldiers that were. Saturos was good, no question -- but he was surrounded. Joseph aimed carefully, and with a throwing knife from one hand and an antimatter shot from the other, took out two soldiers who had apparently intended to shoot Saturos from behind. Not two seconds later, a shot impacted on Joseph's shield, triggering a brief flash. It didn't take long to finish off what few soldiers remained of this unit. Through all this, the armored man seemed to be doing nothing at all.
Joseph turned to face the newcomer directly, making a throwing star in his left hand as he did. Joseph wasn't about to let his guard down around a person who quite clearly could be extremely dangerous if he decided to be. "OK, so who are you, and why are you here?" he demanded. His stance said the rest -- I won't attack first, but if you make any false moves, I will defend myself.
OOC: Looks like this one's getting interesting. Yoshi's pretty much controlling the current plot point, with my permission.

"I just said, Joseph. I'm Special Agent One, Scorpio. I'm here because I have an offer for our good general," Scorpio said, his body language clearly saying that he was bored. "If you'll kindly excuse me, I need to go."
"I thought I made myself perfectly clear, Scorpio," Saturos shot back. "You're not with us, so you're clearly not one of the good guys. And whatever meeting you have with Tactitus, you can just forget about it. You're not getting through that door."
"Yeah, they told me about you. You're always quick to judge people," Scorpio said calmly. "For all you know, this could be a ploy to dispatch Tactitus, and you're stopping me from doing that."
"Please, spare me," Saturos replied. "You clearly have enough skill to get in there undetected, but you still chose to show yourself to me. If that was the case, you'd be long gone by now and you wouldn't have stopped for this nice little chat."
"Very astute. Maybe I under-estimated you. That said, you're still no match for me in combat," Scorpio said, drawing his second blade. The metal screeched as it slid out of its holder and whistled as it moved through the air. "Maybe you'd like to hear that offer now."
"Tell me with your last breath," Saturos said, kicking a second lot of debris at Scorpio. Scorpio lazily flicked his weapon, slicing the debris in two, but Saturos shot in, bringing his sword swinging down expertly. Using his second blade, Scorpio blocked the attack, but the force in the attack made him slide back slightly. Locked in a stalemate, Saturos's face inches from Scorpio's. He could almost see through those black goggles, see the human underneath. However, Scorpio brought the second blade swinging round, forcing Saturos out of the stalemate as he defended against this attack and unleashed a flurry of slashes at Scorpio, forcing the Special Agent back.
"Saturos, as I was saying, I have an offer for you, too," Scorpio said, swinging his blades round expertly. He spun them quickly in his hands, the blades whistling as they spun, like helicoptor bladesd. Saturos shot through the gap in the middle of the blades, flipping to his hands and kicking Scorpio in the face. Scorpio was thrown backwards, but he quickly got to his feet again. "Save it," Saturos said, flipping to his feet again. "Whoever you work for, they can't be that good if you're the one they sent for this mission." "You'd be surprised," Scorpio said, rushing Saturos again, his swords whirling around him as he released an intricate dance of slashes and swipes, spinning and twirling with a sinister whistle. Saturos moved quickly, watching each of the attacks before they could hit him, ducking, dodging and weaving, jumping and crouching, flipping and blocking the attacks before they could hit. However, he was caught by surprise when Scorpio raised one of his fists at Saturos, firing a dart at him. The dart clipping his shoulder, leaving a deep gash which blood spurted from.
"I'm not as bad as you'd think," Scorpio said, standing with one hand on his hip. "So, about that offer. I'm from Section Eight. You don't need to know the details."
Saturos ripped off his sleeve, and tied it around his cut to stop the blood flow, or at the very least reduce it. Flexing his arm, he made sure he could still fight.
"We've seen your talent - we like to keep tabs on those with potential. Our offer is to join us," Scorpio continued. Saturos glanced around at the floor, looking for something to use. On the floor, there was a gun, still intact. He took a cautious step towards it, hoping Scorpio wouldn't notice him. "You'd make an excellent soldier, or so I'm told. Honestly, I don't think you have quite the right attitude, but that's just me."
"You know what, I think you talk too much," Saturos said, kicking the gun at Scorpio. Again, the gun was cut in two, but the power source was still in that gun. It split in two, spraying it's harmful chemicals over Scorpio, who swore loudly and jumped back. Parts of his clothes were smoking, some holes had been dissolved into them, his gloves were crackling with free electricity. Scorpio pushed a button on the underside of each glove, shutting off the electricity. Naturally, Saturos would not let his opening fly by him, and he shot in, his sword slicing at Scorpio. The Special Agent jumped back, thrown off balance by this sudden attack, and staggered about as each slash only very narrowly missed him. Saturos became more precise in his assault, and landed a nice cut on the helmet, taking a chunk out of it.
"Ugh, do you know how much this thing costs?" Scorpio said, adjusting his helment and opening a pouch on his belt as Saturos jumped in with another round of attacks. Scorpio jump right back, flames jetting out of his boots, explaining why they added to his height, putting some distance between him and Saturos. He threw a number of small orbs at Saturos, who continued running at Scorpio, slicing throw a number of the orbs in one neat attack, sending smoke billowing from the orbs. He lunged at Scorpio, who sidesteps and spun, kicking Saturos in the chest. Scorpio shot after Saturos, who was backed against a door, and brought a blade sweeping round at Saturos, who ducked under the attack. The blade cut clean through a keypad, barrier and all, and the wall behind Saturos shuddered and opened.
"A new battleground?" Saturos asked, slipping under Scorpio's guard and uppercutting the Agent. Scorpio stepped back, but Saturos mimicked Scorpio's move, spinning and kicking the agent away. He jumped back as Scorpio threw a grenade at him, and entered the main room, hopping just out of reach with each of Scorpio's attacks.
OOC- That is to say, they entered the same room as our favourite General.

OOC: Sorry to keep you guys waiting so long. Anyone wishing to write themselves out of the plot, now's a good time to do so.
BIC: Joseph took a deep breath, let it out in a loud sigh, and stepped through the opening into the lab's main chamber. As he had expected, General Tactitus stood on the other side of the door, a look of supreme confidence on his face. "I've been expecting you," said the general, as his confident look twisted into a sinister smile.
"Then you know why I'm here," replied Joseph as he slowly stepped towards the man who had stolen his laboratory. His voice deepened and grew slowly louder as he continued, "Why don't you make it easy on everyone, clear out, and leave me alone?" As he said this, he felt an obstruction, as if he had just collided with a window.
Of course, a force field, thought Joseph. "I see you've been upgrading the security. I'll have to thank you for that, after you leave that is."
"Brave words from someone at such a disadvantage," replied the general. "I rather like it here. But, there is one thing you can do before I have my soldiers execute you. Tell me how to access your prototypes!"
"Now, general, do you really think I'd tell you? If any of those prototypes were to fall into the wrong hands, the resulting death and destruction could be catastrophic."
"All the more reason you should give them to me," Tactitus replied gruffly. "Or do you still wish to attempt to maintain that your 'ideals' trump the importance of our security in the face of an imminent threat?"
"General, that issue has already been resolved. I do not work for the military, have no association with you, and am under no obligation to share any of the results of my research. As for your claims of an 'imminent threat', I don't care. I don't trust the military, and I especially do not trust you."
"Very well, then you leave me no choice. Squad, prepare!" Three soldiers leveled their rifles at Joseph.
"General, you've just made a tactical error," sneered Joseph. "You forget, this place is still my lab, and I still have full access to the computers. Computer, seal all exits and initiate full self-destruct sequence. Three-minute countdown, mute. Authorization theta, phi, omega, three, five, two. Disregard all further voice commands except mine."
"Are you a fool? You'll be killed too! Even your devices cannot protect you from the explosion of this building self-destructing!"
"If that's what it takes, I'll be satisfied in whatever afterlife there may be. The choice is yours, general. Agree to remove yourself and everyone who has been occupying this place immediately and unconditionally, or everyone in this building will perish in about two and a half minutes."
OOC: And at that, I'll let the next poster take things up. In case you're wondering, yes, the self-destruct order was supposed to sound like it might have come out of a Star Trek episode.

"Stop making things so difficult, Saturos!" Scorpio roared, lunging at Saturos again, who quickly sidestepped the attack, and countering with a slash of his own. Scorpio spun his second blade, bringing it round to block the attack, but Saturos launched a powerful kick that knocked Scorpio off balance.
"Looks like we're on a time limit," Scorpio said, hearing Joseph order a self-destruct. "Three minutes should be plenty to take you out," Saturos shot back. "I'm through playing around."
Saturos held out his sword in front of him, looking at the blade. "Nijitenshi, sing," he said. Immediately, the blade reacted, starting to glow a bright white. Seconds later, the weapon started to mutate, the hilt growing longer, the blade lengthening, the middle of the blade turning into a crystal, the hilt morphing into a cross-shape. The new weapon was beautiful, the crystal running along the blade changing colour as light refracted through it. Saturos spun the sword once, hearing the whistle of the blade as it cut the air.
"Oh, no wonder they're interested in you," Scorpio commented. Saturos's reply was simple. He moved much faster than he was doing before, and shot at Scorpio, his sword letting out a sinister whoosh as it swung down on the agent, who raised both of his blades to defend him. He forced his blades, in a scissor-like motion, to throw off Saturos, who jumped back and lunged at the agent again. Scorpio jumped up, his boots flaring up to give him so extra altitude, and pulled another grenade off his belt, pulling out the pin and throwing it at Saturos. Saturos jumped to the side, kicking off the barrier and completely dodging the grenade, launching another swipe at Scorpio, who deflected the attack. Saturos landed neatly, but his eyes fell on the grenade that was lying on the floor. It exploded.
If it hadn't been for his sword, Saturos would have been cut to ribbons. The grenade, whatever it was, when it exploded fired out a number of blades all around, blades that cut through the sides of the lab. Luckily for Saturos, his weapon, Nijitenshi, was not just a sword. A near-invisible bubble formed around him, a barrier that looked like it was made of the same material as the crystal in his blade. Some of the blades got through, of course, leaving Saturos with a number of superficial cuts, but he was mostly alright.
"Two minutes to go, Saturos," Scorpio said, landing near Saturos, who spun, ready for the next round.
OOC- Didn't want to explode the lab just yet, figured that was more your plot point, DJ. Can edit, if you feel otherwise.

OOC: Um... wow. I didn't expect to take nearly this long to reply on this one. Sorry, folks. I do intend to try to get this one to some sort of a conclusion.
BIC: "So, you still refuse to back down!" barked Tactitus. "Lieutenant, find a way to cancel that self-destruct!" With that, he turned back to Joseph, his eyes alight with fury. "If you really thought you could threaten a soldier with death, you've miscalculated. I could just wait, but I'd rather kill you myself."
"I think not, General," replied Joseph. "And keep in mind, you're locked out of the computer. I'm the only one that can drop this force field."
As if on cue, as Joseph finished his statement, the force field dropped and the lights in the room shut off. "General, I've cut power," reported the lieutenant. "Self-destruct has been aborted."
"You were saying, Halzed?" growled Tactitus. "Now, tell me how to access your prototypes, or I will kill you where you stand."
"Good luck with that, General," said Joseph. "I tapped into the force field's power source before I ordered the self-destruct. My devices are fully charged. All I have to do is launch a little pellet of antimatter, and there won't even be a body for your next of kin to bury."
"Halzed, you're dead!" shouted Tactitus. He reached down to his belt with his right hand, and drew what appeared to be the hilt of a broadsword. He pressed a button, and a glowing blade materialized to complete his weapon.
A force field blade, thought Joseph. That could be a problem. It could cut through my shield like it wasn't even there. Joseph clicked his heels, engaging the hoverboard in his shoes. Unfortunately for Joseph, the ceiling wasn't high enough for him to completely stay out of range of Tactitus' weapon. If he were to land a blow on the hoverboard, Joseph would be grounded, not to mention helpless for a few seconds.
"Halzed, you coward," Tactitus taunted. "I thought you were going to kill me. Instead, you run away like a little rabbit?"
Joseph refused to be baited. Tactitus was in far better physical condition than Joseph; in a hand-to-hand fight, Joseph would never stand a chance. He considered quickly; he actually preferred not to kill the general if possible, and even his smallest antimatter shot would instantly vaporize him if it hit. That left his other weapon. Joseph wiggled his fingers, commanding his left glove to produce a trio of throwing stars. One, two, three -- Joseph tossed the stars at the oncoming general.
Two stars missed completely, but the third landed a clean hit on the general's left shoulder. Tactitus winced briefly, then continued his charge, preparing a slash as he drew near.
OOC: Yeah, the self-destruct idea was exciting, but I kinda wrote myself into a corner with it, hence getting it out of the way in this post. Looking forward to seeing where this goes from here.

Steven didn’t know what was going on between the other members of the ragtag team. He had slipped off after the flair to investigate the lab as he had been told from the beginning of his mission. He eliminated waves of guards with the shock pistol he had borrowed.
“It basically runs on my electromagnetic force” he said chuckling to himself. He quickly began searching his coat for schematics of the lab. They were logged into his visor for ready use. The lab was complex in a way but easy to manage if you saw the landmarks. The visors screen the flashed to show points for the explosives around the lab.
“Oh this is gonna take a while, I might as well located the rest of them.” He said walked towards the blinking lights on the visor. He had placed one on everyone before they entered the building; it was small but undetectable to the naked or electronic eye. Quickly following the trail of dead and injured bodies he quickly found the Ods on the ground near a door. He got a look at his injuries and tried to figure out what to do. Then he saw it a large vascular wound about the size of a small clock. “I guess you’re not meant to get shot “ he said with a stern look in his eyes. “Hold on a bit I got something to hold you on so you don’t pass over.” He then took out a small box and began to push it in, the wound sucked in like a child did to ice cream. The bleeding then began to subside a bit, but he was still in lots of pain. “Well you’re in condition to fight this fight anymore, Stay put while we finish this alright?” he said walking towards the doors.
He had been hearing the noises of a power battle while he talked to Ods. Saturos And some guy dressed in blue were having a big fight. Concurrently he saw Joseph above him and a large man waving around a sword. “Hey Joe I guess you found you’re new roommate, but I think you should evict this scumbag.” He then pulled the trigger of his gun trying to incapacitate the man, An Electrified bullets the glanced his Left leg.

"Great idea, Steven," Joseph replied sarcastically, as he narrowly backed out of the range of Tactitus' sword. "Any ideas on how?" With that, he turned to the general. "Well, now, it looks like you're outnumbered and outgunned, general. Wouldn't now be a good time to retreat?"
"You little pest!" the general retorted, as he again slashed at Joseph, again failing to connect. "This is pointless." With that, he quickly sheathed his sword, reached down to his belt, and unholstered a small laser pistol. "I would rather have taken you out with my blade, but since you refuse to fight me like a man, and you will not see reason, I suppose shooting you will have to suffice."
At that, Joseph tapped his belt buckle, re-engaging the shield device that he kept within it. "General, with all due respect, little though that may be, you're the one that won't see reason." Joseph's shield flashed as a shot from Tactitus' pistol impacted, causing little more than a slight drain.
"And what do you mean by that, traitor?" replied Tactitus, still keeping the pistol trained on Joseph.
"First off, if we are actually going to discuss this, I suggest we do so like civilized people, and stop trying to kill each other. Second, check your dictionary. I have done nothing to aid any enemy of yours, so I cannot be considered a traitor."
"Perhaps, legally, you are not a traitor, but you refuse to aid us, thereby weakening our ability to defend ourselves against our enemies." Throughout all this, Joseph hovered above the ground with his shield engaged, and the general kept his pistol trained on the floating scientist. Neither, however, made any overt move to attack.
"That does not make me a traitor, General, in any sense. I respect that the military is sometimes necessary to defend people from outside forces. That does not mean that I am in any way obligated to support such efforts. Or are you so blind that you consider anyone who does not support your point of view to be against you?"
"Don't be a fool, Halzed," replied the general. "Do you really expect our enemies to simply leave you alone?"
"I don't care, general. I'll defend myself against anyone who makes it necessary, but I will not aid in the development of technology that will be used for war."
"Then how do you explain those gloves? What purpose have they, except to be used as weapons? Besides, you of all people should know just how many useful technologies have originally been used for military applications."
"This glove," replied Joseph, holding up his left hand, "was originally going to be used to create tools, which I could then use in my development of other devices. It was only when you forced me to defend myself that I reconfigured it to also create weapons. And as for the other one, you should know that when antimatter and matter meet, the resulting reaction releases large amounts of energy. I was researching ways in which that energy release could be applied. Again, though, your actions forced me to adapt it for use in combat."
"My actions?!" the general roared. Then, he cleared his throat, obviously taking great effort to control his temper. "Regardless of why, Halzed, the point is that you have created these weapons. Why not allow them to be put to good use?"
"Good use? OK, let's say, hypothetically, that I believed there to be legitimate reason to allow these devices to be used now. What's to keep the military, once they obtain these devices, from simply holding onto them after that particular threat is averted, then later using them in a more aggressive fashion? That, general, is why I will not allow my devices to be in the military's hands; once they are out of my direct control, I have no way to prevent them from being used in ways I would find reprehensible. Either our own military could decide to use them in such ways, or they could fall into the hands of people far less moral than you or I."
"You would prefer that we fall to our enemies? Halzed, my superiors would likely have me court-martialed if they knew I revealed this to you, but our latest military actions are not going nearly as well as the public has been led to believe. Unless something happens soon to turn the tide, we are likely to be conquered in less than six months."
"General, I am not unfeeling. I empathize. But if you are looking to me for something to turn the tide, you are looking in the wrong place. I won't help you."
"Enough of this, Halzed," Tactitus growled. "I must obtain these devices, and I will. If you will not cooperate, then I will take them by force." With that, Tactitus pulled the trigger of his pistol, and again Joseph's shield absorbed it with little more than a flash. "That shield of yours will not hold out forever, Halzed!" the general taunted.
"Long enough, general," replied Halzed. "You've forced my hand. Until now, I would have been content to simply disable you, but since you continue to insist on using lethal force against me, I will do the same." With that, Joseph began to wriggle the fingers of his right hand, commanding it to produce a small pellet of antimatter. Then, the scientist pushed his palm in Tactitus' direction, launching the bullet-sized projectile towards the murderous general.
Tactitus, seeing this, jumped backward, only narrowly avoiding the oncoming antimatter pellet. It hit the floor, vaporizing a hemispherical portion perhaps a foot in diameter, and causing a brilliant flash of light.
As the light cleared, Tactitus gaped. "Fine, Halzed. For now, you may have your precious 'laboratory'. Computer, intercom, all channels."
"Unauthorized voice command," came a synthesized masculine voice.
"Computer, authorize command, code theta, phi, gamma," Joseph responded.
"Code confirmed. Opening intercom channels."
Tactitus cleared his throat. "Attention, all personnel. Effective immediately, possession of this facility has been passed to Joseph Halzed. All personnel, remove yourselves and all belongings ASAP. Repeat, all personnel, remove yourselves and all belongings. Assemble at point D for further instructions."
"Computer, close all intercom channels," Joseph called, seeing that the general's announcement had concluded.
"There, are you happy? Halzed, I may be retreating for now, but don't think this is over."
Finally, the immediate threat had ended. Joseph landed, retracted his hoverboard, and disengaged his shield. He could see that Tactitus' troops were indeed preparing to leave. Joseph, satisfied at least for the moment, strode toward the lab's main door. Before he could step out into the hall, though, he saw Saturos and Scorpio, locked in combat.
Guess Scorpio's not with Tactitus, thought Joseph. "Steven, come on. Saturos may need our help."
OOC: OK, Yoshi, ball's in your court. Once that subplot wraps up, I think we can call this topic complete.
