Okay, so here's the deal. This is just a trial game to see how House competitions work out balancewise, and to set a standard for House Point values.
The game works like this:
Each House chooses a member to compete here. Once we have all the members (four), we begin the contest.
The match takes place in a theoretical arena. Alryst is to the South, facing Ulaich to the North, and Vashval is to the West, facing Oloysian to the east.
Each round, each player takes an action by PMing me. Their actions are totalled, and added to the coordinates. All the players share a single pair of coordinates, since they're up there pushing and shoving in a big ball of loinclothed House Spirit. Any player that doesn't give an action within 24 hours of the turn starting forfeits their turn.
The coordinates start out at 0,0. East-West on the first coordinate, and North-South on the second coordinate. If the first one ever reaches 10, Oloysian is out, and -10, Vashval is out. If the second ever reaches 10, Ulaich is out, and -10, Alryst (heavens forbid!) is out.
The actions a player can choose from are:
-Push Forwards (Moves two spaces away from their edge)
-Push Other (Moves one space towards the selected side)
-Pull (Moves three squares towards their own edge)
-Surging Push Forwards (Moves three spaces away from their edge, but moves one space back towards their edge next turn)
-Slap Player (Selected player's move is worth one less this turn.)
Last man standing wins. If there's two left in a deadlock, whichever one got farthest from their edge wins. If a tie, I total 1st and 2nd place House Points, and split it evenly.
Winning House gets 5 House Points, 2nd Place gets 3, 3rd gets 2, and last gets 1. The players earn five times the earned House Points in EP.
So, Houses, get to picking your representatives. I wanna start this after I finish tallying for the popularity polls.
(one more rule: Each House Member not competing can, once per game, cheer for their champion by doing so in this topic (Stating CHEER somewhere in their post). That moves the coordinates one space away from their Player's edge.
They can still comment every turn, but only one time does it actually affect the match. )
So, with all that said, LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
