Orsini blinked. The two girls had disappeared. He was taken aback, but swiftly brushed it off and took a survey of the house. Ah: of course. The garage window. He hadn't noticed that the explosion had shattered it. Here, it was the perfect opening. Orsini leapt out of the bushes back onto the driveway, and with another burst had moved himself through the window and into the garage.
Here, he fell over promptly. This garage was full of things other than cars. Kicking a pail off his boot, Orsini hoped that his fall would have attracted no attention from inside. But, since the door from the garage into the house was closed, there was he supposed no need to worry.
Orsini set aside the shovel that had fallen across his shoulders, thought better of it, picked up the shovel, and brandished it before him as he kicked a path through the clutter to the door. An ice pick he would have preferred, but there was none in the Grimaldi garage.

"Guy can never get any peace can he?" Shade said, sitting up just behind Orsini. He was stuffed into a corner of the garage, wearing full bikers leathers, with his motorcycle parked right beside him. He looked at Orsini critically through his shades, then chuckled.
"I'm Shade," He said, "Highest ranked non-apcarp power in 600 kilometers." He grinned, "Six was always her favorite number." Shade said, dropping Orsini a wink.
"But now, a question." Shade said, raising his hand before Orsini attacked, some sort of barely perceptible wall rising between them.
"Why do you think," Shade asked, "That me and the others would want to burst in here, and kill poor May's parents?"
His eye's changed, and suddenly he was scowling hard. Vibrant green eye's, giving the impression of life on the edge of death, bored deeply into Orsini.
"The answer to that is, bullshit." Shade growled, "APCARP wants them dead, for their research and the creation of May. They still have most of the origional data required to create a power, and APCARP wants it. They refused it, and now I'm here."
He looked at Orsini critically, then lowered his shield.
"You should make a choice now. But be aware if you try to 'retrieve' them, I'll be only to happy to rip your head off." Shade spate onto the floor beside him, clearing out some of the shit that'd built up in his mouth while he'd slept.
A sudden wind swept through the house, seemingly being torn through it towards the roof. Shade looked up in surprise, intrigued.
"Well, I'll be damned. They nixxed Phoenix. No worries though, he'll do his little re-appearing trick in a minute or two. It kinda depends on where you shot him." Shade said, grinning at Orsini. "Funny thing is, I think he's actually immortal."
He directed a knowing look at Orsini, "Once, I even saw a suicide bomber grab onto him, and detonate his ass all over the place. That took him a little longer to recovered from, but all in all, there have been people dead for longer than ten minutes who've come back." Shade said, grinning.
______
Nixx pulled himself to his feet, standing behind the two APCARP powers, still holding his sniper rifle.
"He guys." He said brightly, and thumbed the rifle to semi-auto. He emptied a few rounds into the duo, point blank, then darted to the other side of the roof.
He slid down the shingles, and burst through a window into the interior of the house.
"They're here!!" Nixx screamed, "Count six! Its not a wanderer after all boys!"

OOC: Okay, that's better. Kids, expect me to resume this plot within 48 hours, bar computer issues.

"Good..." May gave a slight tug, pulling Kai towards a spot that she had noticed. Under the eaves, and away from any windows, they'd have good cover there. She ran a fingertip along the webbing that connected them, the invisible chords seperating in an instant. Kai could still feel a stickyness on her arm, akin to having walked into a spiderweb.
"M'kay. If you can keep up that whole invisible thing, it'd probably be best to do the ground floor. I'm gonna go do some scouting, topside..." Embio raised her forearms in front of her, and closed her eyes. She let out a deep sigh, and then gave her arms a quick windmill. Turning towards the wall, her eyes snapped open.
"Hey, Kai... Good luck!" May threw herself at the side of the house, planting a foot against the shingled siding. She kicked off of it, gaining a good few feet of progress up the wall. She slammed her arms into it, and locked her shoulders and elbows the best she could.
She didn't drop. As if glued by some transparent force, she dangled precariously from the building. With a grunt, she pulled her left arm free, and planted it again at a higher spot.
Harder than I remember it being... Of course, I usually- May repeated the motion with her right arm, Practice on tile walls... The grip's better on this stuff, I suppose.
She began picking up speed, soon moving like she was going up a ladder. The key was only giving light pressure, letting her strands catch without snagging. That was just strong enough to hold her, and light enough that she could yank free in a moment.
With one final heave, she pulled herself even with a second story window. Her fingers snagged the sill, and she peered over it. Nothing. An empty bathroom with a few knickknacks and a big basket of ornamental soaps. The floor had a eye-smarting green and white tiling, stainless and still fairly brilliant. Probably a guest bathroom... May sighed, and swung an arm to the side. She'd need to inch around the building to see if she could spot anything more helpful on the floor.
OOC: Whoo! Sudden revival!

OOC - We need one of our maths people to take you previous comment of 48 hours, then take the time between your last two posts and make us a formula that we can plug what you say into then we can factor for what you really mean

OOC: By that logic, multiply whatever estimate Lee gives by eight and you're good to go.

OOC: There's a few variables in there, like how many Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays there are in that time period. But ya, I find, if you multiply my estimate by about 10, it's pretty reliable. (Bar ending topics. That takes foreb'r.)
