Seth stood on top of a stone building, deep in Corallians territory. His seamless, heavy purple cloak whipped about him in the wind, and he rocked slowly on his feet. He was a light person, so it had more of an effect on him than most. Scowling, he called up the ether, flooding his body with the flows he was capable of controlling, and a shield formed around him, keeping the wind from him. He smiled, then looked down on the corallians below him. He was human, flooded with the Empires propeganda about the Corallians. He had a serious dislike for the race as a whole, and a lust for the power that they were naturally gifted with. He was jealous, so now he stalked them. He stalked and killed them, and took their prized ether, shaping it and adding it to the necklace he wore, becoming more powerful with every kill.
And tonight, he wanted to test the power which he'd obtained. He was following a highly gifted corallian woman. She was quite beautiful, with long, flowing copper hair, and vibrant green eye's. In her hand she held an artifact, an orb. It wasn't very powerful, but it was far superior than anything a single corallian could summon. Her name was Faye, though the meaning of the word escaped Seth. He had no desire to challenge her in the open, he wasn't stupid. Between her, and the other corallians, they could easily overwhelm him. So he stood on the roof, watching, and waiting. He followed her for a while, to better seek his chance.
And when that time came, he would take great pleasure in killing her, and perhaps he would even bottle her blood, as a momento.

"So what brings you here?" A voice like splinters piercing skin crept into Seth's ears. "I think that this rooftop is an odd spot for one to be standing. Especially a primitive like yourself." Selix stood behind his, clenching and unclenching his fists repeatedly, as if working some kinks out of the muscles therein. Two small metal boxes were strapped to his forearms, a networks of wires and strings extending from small holes in the box to the tips of his fingers, as well as a few stretching back to his elbow. An ominous metallic creak was heard emitting from the box, easily declaring both threat and at the same time, a declaration of apathy about the man.

“Could I persuade you to part with those lovely trinkets you wear?” Said the shopkeeper as Indu reached into his pouch and pulled out a few gold coins to pay for supplies.
“The bracelets? No, I’m afraid there’re not for sale.” Indu answered. He was use to the shopkeepers around here trying to by the bracelets.
“Are you sure?” Pressed the shopkeeper, “A Corallian could make much better use of such items than yourself.”
Indu gave the shopkeeper an angry look. “How about you give me the supplies I paid for.”
The shopkeeper complied and handed over a large pack filled with various nuts and fruits. Indu pulled the pack over his shoulder and left the shop without a word. ‘The nerve of some people.’ he thought to himself as he walked down the street. Indu hated being looked down upon by the Corallians. They weren’t all bad but, like the shopkeeper, there were some who were just so arrogant.
OOC- Short and sweet.

Seth smirked, "Following the ether flows." He said cryptically, then continued walking along the line of the roof, following his target. "I assume I'm very similar to yourself, corallian. I seek focus." Seth said, glancing at the scares on Selix' face. He nodded towards the corallian woman. "She carried an artifact, a small orb. Its strength isn't great, but I thought I might test myself against its power."

"Ah. So you are one such as myself. One who desires to drink from the goblet of unity, taste the sweet draft of immortality." Selix's words flowed with a measured portion of eloquence, bearing notes of poison and sugar in the same breath. "I believe that we could benefit from each other's companionship. At least momentarily..." He paused, drawing in a breath.
"This young lady is rather fetching to those that find such things attractive. She may cause disruptions to appear. In which case, I'll be willing to remove such distractions from your care in exchange for a portion of the..." He ran his tongue over his teeth. "Profits."

Abydos stepped lightly on the stones behind the two conversing figures and smirked lightly. His crimson eyes shone slightly and his crimson markings seemed to pluse with the power of Ether. The royal style clothing he wore was beautiful and clean, unlike most commoners around the area. A single hand rose and brushed aside a stray hair as a smile formed across his face.
"Greetings children. My name is Abydos Kom Ombo. You seem to have your eyes on a powerful little minx down there. I'm awaiting to see your results. Remember, your prince is watching you." Abydos stated in a cryptic manner and disappeared in an Ether smoke.
Abydos appeared in front of Indu and smiled. A single hand extended to him in a regal manner. The streets were mostly empty and the clearly overdressed Abydos wasn't noticed much. Abydos waited a few moments for Indu to approach and then began to think out his short speech. Once a proper mangle of words was crafted he began to speak like a monarch.
"I see that you are part Gantai. I'm quite interested in your race. You seem to be quite capible of taking care of yourself, but have you ever thought of being part of something bigger? I have a plan that requires beings such as yourself and I think that you would make a fine general. If you would like some more detail please meet me in the inn nearby. Ask for the royal lodgings there." Abydos stated as he vanished again in an Ether smoke.

Seth sneered after Abydos left. "Yes, I believe it would be beneficial for us to work together." Seth said slowly, turning to Selix. "That man was writhed in power. I dislike him and his motives, but he could be useful to us in the future. For now, let us continue with the hunt. I have no need of the woman, her ether is as nothing compared to this necklace. I seek the orb, her life is a simple momento. You may take whatever else you wish, but do not attempt to take my prize from me." Seth said, his voice slowly becoming more harsh. The street below them had begun to clear out, and the woman was slowly being left alone.
"I believe our chance draws near." Seth said harshly, an almost sexual desire present in his voice. The last of the people cleared off the stone roads, leaving the woman alone on the road. "Yessss!" Seth hissed hurrying forwards. He jumped off the roof, landing softly on the ground with the assistance of the ether, and slowly his robs whipped around him as a ball of fire slowly formed in front of him. Faye whipped around as she sensed the heat, her eye's widening as she took in the danger. The orb flashed in her hands, and a blue, misty shield formed before her. Seth's fireball flashed forwards, impacting and breaking over the shield. Showering the surrounding with flame. "Yesssss." He hissed, his eye's flowing. "Fight me woman! Fight me and then die!"

When Abydos appeared Indu jumped a few feet backward, as he was not accustomed to people just suddenly appearing in font of him. He looked down at Abydos’s outstretched hand but didn’t take it. Before he could say anything, Abydos disappeared.
“I can do very well on my own, thank you.” Indu said to nobody inparticular. He adjusted his supplies and started walking back down the street. Something bigger? A General? What was that guy talking about? Must be an insurrectionist… But who’s he against…. Indu toyed with the idea of seeing what more the man had to say.
He was thinking about going to the Inn when he saw an explosion of fire down a nearby side street. Indu dropped his supplies and took off down the side street. There was a woman, obviously in fear, and a man with a crazed look in his eyes. Etiquette would dictate that he help the woman. Unfortunately Indu recognized her from earlier in the day. She had nearly knocked him over coming out of a shop and then had the nerve to tell the shopkeeper that there was filth blocking the doorway. The woman would not receive any help from him. A sideways glance gave Indu a look at the human. Humans… Indu had no love for these people. He was hardly welcomed in there towns and sometimes hunted by there guards.
Indu knew what to do in this situation. His tail uncoiled from around his waist and wrapped around an apple in a nearby abandoned fruit stand. It lifted the apple into the air and peeled it with the blade at the tip. Indu took a bite and sat down.
OOC- If you don't like that extra little part about the woman just tell me and I'll change it.

"Indu, I see that you have ignored my first invitation. There are no hard feelings, but I'm not sure that you understand why I have chosen you." a voice rang out in Indu's mind.
The battle still raged on nearby, but something seemed to be changing in the area. Dark clouds rolled over head and darkened the streets. After a few brief moments, snow flakes began to fall over the stone paths and buildings. The perfect white flakes cast forth a cold wind with them and began sticking to the ground. Once there was a nice layer of snow on the ground the storm began to strengthen. It was very difficult to see and quite cold.
"You see, we are brothers Indu. We are one in the same. This may be hard to comprehend, but in a way we are brothers. You are a cross breed like myself. You have the blood of all races but the humans, while I am Corallian and Human born. That is why I have been both blessed and cursed with this ability to speak with you with my mind. Our pain is the same. We don't belong anywhere. We are looked down upon and treated as animals. But you had the love of your parents and people knew of you, while I had nothing. My parents denied that I existed to the world and this has caused me to not recieve my proper place in the world! Both of my parents were high ranking officals and I should now rule both the Corallian and the Humans. Do you know the pain of never existing in the eyes of your own race?" the voice rang out once again as Abydos appeared sitting next to Indu.
"You see, that's why I chose you. We are one in the same and I want you to help me carve out a place in the world for our kind. All of us will be able to live in peace with each other. But the only way I can achive this goal is to lay waste to the Vox Empire and the Republic. I can't do it alone, so I have been seeking the help of powerful Gantai and cross breeds such as yourself. You have my offer and if you choose to accept, you will have the world soon enough." Abydos stated as he sat calmly in the storm watching the battle rage on before them.
OOC- I basically just outlined the entire plot for Abydos there...That's the first time I've ever done that before.

You may have something to prove, I don’t. You can wage your war but leave me out of it.” Indu didn’t know what Abydos’s reaction would be, frankly he didn’t care.

Seth grinned his insane grin, holding fire in his hands. The woman across from him was backing away, steadily maintaining her shields. Seth threw fire at her, streams of it flowing from his hands. The stone street was beginning the char, the stone turning black. Seth grinned, he could feel her shield failing. "Yessssss!" He said, his eye's glowing. "DIE!"
Alblae, Dekard, and Klear walked down the street together. Wearing they're weapons and armor proudly. They were on a routine patrol, required of all the Peacekeepers, high and low. They were buddies, so they usually stuck together, trusting each other to watch the others backs. Alblae looked around, but it was a quite night. "Seems we won't be getting any action today guys." He said. Dekard and Klear nodded, and Klear heaved a sigh. "I hate being in the inner cities, nothing exiting ever happens." Alblae looked at Klear sharply. "What have I told you about that before?" Alblae asked Klear, who blushed and said. "A silent night is a good night, because no one tries to remove your head." Klear said. "Exactly!" Dekard responded, "But it's always nice to get a little practice in.!" Alblae shoot his head at his two younger counterparts, than spotted two people sitting on the street.
One of them looked human, the other Tenai. He ignored them for the moment, and looked in the direction they were looking. "Hoy!" He yelled, seeing the two strangers on the street, throwing flame at eachother. "C'mon!" He yelled to Dekard and Klear, who were both smiling at the chance to DO something. "Right behind ya boss!" They chanted, drawing they're weapons.
Seth looked around sharply, only to see the three Peacekeepers baring down on him. "Shit!" He cursed, and the woman took advantage of his distraction. She telekinetically punched him in the stomach, after which he stumbled, bent double. By the time he'd straightened, the woman had run away, and the guards were a lot closer. He gave them the finger, and jumped on top of the roof. "You'll pay for this with your lives!" He yelled down at Alblae, Dekard, and Klear, then took off across the rooftops.
The three peacekeepers stopped at the bottom of the building, then methodically began to climb up onto the roof, pursuing Seth.
"That was amusing." Aniki said to Abydos and Indu, we were still silently watching the show. "I've heard what you said earlier Abydos, and unlike this weakling here, I have an interest in your preposal. With the empire and the republic gone, they can no longer attack my land." He said, scratching his hairy arm. He wasn't wearing a shirt, like most Gantai, as they just caused they're already itchy bodies to itch more. He, however, at least have to decency to wear pants. Normally he'd have worn a lion-cloth, but he'd quickly found that the guards didn't take well to that. He curled his long tail around his waist, and waited for Abydos' response.

"You seem to be strong enough. You appear in good health and seem to have the right mantality. You'll do nicely. Now to get past the formalities. My name is Abydos Kom Ombo. As you can already tell, I'm a half breed. I refuse to use the title that my kind is given by the masses. Now that that is over, I suppose it's time for you to provide me with some information. "Now tell me more of this plan of yours, if I am to assist you, then that I need to know." "The business of your tribe is my business because it is with the help of the tribes that we will claim victory. Imagine it. The Gantai being the most powerful race in the world, both physically and regionally. All the Ether that you could possibly want, right there for the taking. Imagine that sword of yours with the power of the sun itself. The raw power that you could wield is unbelievable. All I ask is that you help me gain support of the tribes. Once we have otherthrown the Empire and Republic you will have all the power that you could possibly want. All I want in return is control over the Humans and the Corallian. The races that refuse to admit that I exist, that's all I want. Once I gain the thrones your kind will be allowed to do as they please. Of course, I would extend the offer for anyone that would like it to join the army and police over the beings that opress us now." Abydos stated calmly as a slight flash of his telepathic flashed in Aniki's mind, showing him the possible future.
"What do you say? Shall you give me that information?"

Selix simply watched the proceedings from his perch. Sure, he hadn't stopped the peacekeepers... But that was of little matter to him. Seth had failed to kill her. Neither one had held their end of the deal, at least yet. He cautiously leaned over the edge of the building, eavesdropping on the conversations below.
Something about a revolution... Something that could kill many, many Corralians. Not bad for him at all. Although he wasn't as adamant about not killing as some, he generally thought the act was barbaric and unbecoming for one such as himself. He was a doctor, a surgeon. He preferred to simply deal with corpses. Killing was acceptable, but he was so much better off simply looting the bodies. No, he would not fight in this revolution, but he would gladly ride on its coat tails to a conclusion.

Indu stood up and slipped down a side street. The guards were preoccupied and Abydos had found someone new to bother. A few buildings later Indu found himself in a deserted street. There were a few stands with fruit that had been abandoned. Most likely they heard the commotion not to far away and had hid. Indu picked up a burlap sack and restocked his supplies. Further down the street was a guard making a pass through the area. Not wanting to be forced to answer any questions about he was doing or what was going on, Indu coiled his tail around the bag and climbed up the side of the building. A quick look back showed the guard hadn’t noticed and Indu continued his climb up. When he got to the top he found he was not alone. A strange man with what looked like boxes attached to his arms was peering down into the street on the other side of the building.
“And I thought there was a chance the rest of my day could be normal.” Indu said finally giving up on trying to avoid everybody. He sat down on the ledge and waited to see if the man would address him.

"Greetings, Gantai or whatever it is that you consider yourself to actually be." Selix muttered placidly, still keeping his eyes on the street below. "I take it that you have something you need to attend to, possibly requiring some manner of assistance. Nobody ever approaches an occupied Corralian unless they have something that they themselves are in need of."
"Of course, with my current situation, my state of being occupied is rather debatable." Selix used his hands to push himself away from the edge, rocking onto his haunches. He crouched near the edge, still staying aware of the bustle below. "Speak."

"I honestly must acquiesce that I have as little of an idea about it as you do. I simply have observed a rather puerile human attacking a woman with an artifact, and then those rather peculiar negotions that were spectacle to you as well. I simply am awaiting my opportunity to do what I do best." Selix glanced over the edge, noticing that the climbers were almost upon them. With a graceful twirl, he rolled a loose stone over the edge of the roof, kicking it so that it would drop straight at the Gantais.
"Now, however, I fear that I may be in legal snaffu." Selix said with a calmed whimsy to his voice. He pointed an arm towards the edge of the roof, readying himself for the attackers.

The three soldiers ran right past the people on the roof, pretty much ignoring him in their pursuit of the attacker, whom seemed to have vanashed over the other side of the roof.
Seth slowly approached the woman from behind. She was unaware of him, to busy watching the goings on at the roof. It was the simplist thing in the world for Seth to reach out with his Ether and snap her neck. She fell limply to the ground, and he took her Sphere, fastening it to his necklance as the main piece. He laughed silently, and motioned for his companion to come down from the roof and join him.

He slunk across the street stealthily, and approached Seth. He gestured again, the claws retracting into the boxes. "So?"
