As mentioned in the other thread, it is very possible that a player in this current game of Mafia has a double account. I'm not POSITIVE yet, I'm going to give them a chance to explain why they have the same ISP to me via PM, but it is looking EXTREMELY suspicious.
Anyways, what say ye that we should do?
I see several options: *Give one of the player's roles away to somebody who wants to play again, like Bulbs, Gil, or Crayolaking. *Immediately ban both roles from the game. *Kill one of the roles, either our choice or theirs.
I mean, I understand some cheating of sorts. Mafia is all about deception and misdirection. But a double account is rather lowly, even by those standards. So, if you are the individual in question, please PM me and explain/apologize. Everybody else, give your opinion on the possible sentence.
We'll resume the normal game when this gets cleared up.

What did each player choose to do in terms of staying or going? Did they both stay, did they both go, or did one do each?

Assuming both were still alive of course.

Yes, truly.

I say remove that person from the game entirely. Give any still alive roles to someone else. There is absolutely no reason for cheating, and it's incredibly stupid to do so for a fun game. ...When will people learn that it shows the IP on every post?

LOL, and if you take away his/her jobs, then I'm sure Vaxx would like to take one of them, Mafia is one of the main reasons that he joined... I think.

Hmm... Ban 'em. ^^ It'd serve them right for going as far as that to try and win, and trying to trick us all that badly. And it just seems rather stupid to do something like that.
EDIT: Also, this thread should scare them enough to start off with. ^^

Yeah, I think I'll give out both of the roles to other people who want said playtime. Probably Bulbs and Vaxx, and then issue a one game (Mafia IV) suspension to the culprit.
And no, it's not the lovely Cinders sisters. They check out.

Jeez... when Rach told me bout this I got so worried >< Glad to know it ain't us. I know I'm still a fairly new player but I don't think it's fair to cheat, it ain't fair on the other more serious players. I agree with what's being done.

"Cinders sisters". I like that. And cheating isn't fair in any game. Generally I come across a cheater, I yell at them until they go away or just tell them to go away. Not meaning to chase anyone away here, but seriously, cheating's not fair on anyone.

The members in question are Rasaq/Dangaard. They have had the same ISP throughout the course of the entire night game. They are innocent until proven guilty, but it looks pretty bleak.
However, I shall carry out all of their game actions up until the end of the third night, but will restore partially any expired powers so as to lessen the suckage for whomever inherits the role.

I have a solution to the problem, we use a Russian mind set and go to his/her house and shot them, muttering the phrase, "Traitors will be shot." to ourselves. T
hey have committed a blasphemy toward our game! They have betrayed our website! It is a traitor! He/she must be--- Exterminated!

I love how the most Christian member of the forums is hosting this game and is gonna see that "Easter pizzaz." And didn't Lee specifically say not to chew out the culprit? Yeah. He did.

Nevermind the fact that not one of us know why they share the same IP. For all we know they live in the same house and it's as innocent as that.

I imagine any one of the numerous people where who know Rasaq in real life could attest as to whether he and Dangaard are two different people who live in the same house.

Yeah, I'm going to work to get this back on the road. I'm gonna do the role switch, and then treat both of the roles as being Chronomancer frozen until we get Rasaq's explanation of this.
And don't worry about religiously offending me. If you flame my religion, or just TEAR INTO it, I'll retaliate in kind. (Anybody remember ZTG on TCGPlayer? Yeah.) But otherwise, yeah, I won't go after you. I might not find it funny, but I'm not a jerk.
But yeah, leave the two alone. They're innocent until proven guilty.

Zak and Lee had what can only be described as TCGplayers greatest religious debate. There were arguments and counter-arguments flying all over I tells ya. A very enjoyable debate it was too, then Chedy banned all talking, drawing, writing and thinking about anything slightly religious and it all ended.

Well, it was more like: ZTG started a debate, evolution vs. creation, attacking Noah's ark as the weakest point. I retaliated in kind, and then he put up a hugantic block of arguments against it which seemed suspiciously like it was lifted from some evolutionistic web page, which I proceeded to attempt to counter, point for point, even mathematically proving that Noah's Ark would leave enough people for the pyramids and such to be built. Meanwhile, some woman from the fic section (Jessie summat or other) went and tried to mediate with a Soft-interpretation view of scripture.
Unfortunately, the thread died before I could totally crush him. Bummer.
