One thing that threw me the entire game was when pope sent me a pm with a link to the "mafia boards" which was a completely different site. So I'm gonna ask one question. Did pope know who the mafia members were throughout the game cos that was kinda the reason why I stopped pming after a while.

I would like to say I suck at these games. I either end up as an inoccent accidentaly being used by the Mafia, or I just get killed off.
Based on this I know I am gonna win next time. Mainly cause I'm due a win lol.

The answer to your question is yes Lamby. For the beggining of the game I did know who Mafia was, however, I was the brewer, and being so, would have won the game if Mafia would have won. Therefore, I decided it would be much more fun to go that route, instead of playing innocent. So through various degrees of trickery, and tomfoolery, I figured out that Spiffy was God Father, and, as many people established early on in the game, became his ally. I didnt relize you could switch alliances, so I set up a board for Mafia to talk on, that way we could actually make up a plan, and no one responded to it, so I just kinda droped it. When Mafia started losing really bad, and I was getting tired of playing this game, I just decided to ally myself with Babs, and Potato; that was about the time the relic came into play. Then we had a 3 hour arrgument between me, Potato, Babs, and Ocelot, my assembling being the end result, and ultimatly gaining the trust of Babs, and Potato, as well as ending the game.

Gah! If you hadn't allied with someone else at the end I might not of died >< I was gonna use my rez! And I think it's better if people who are innocent, brewer or not, don't know who's in the mafia, it's unfair if you decide to suddenly become innocent again and then you know who to take out. I know I was a new player this game but still, we went through all that stuff with rasaq cheating which was enough for me to be fair, I still enjoy playing but it complicates things when innocents get told who's in the mafia, I had all the interrogations at home when Cinders was innocent and I was mafia and she was trying to get it out of me.
But I dunno I guess it's all your own choice and stuff.

Thats the main problem with having an online life thats linked with your real life. Fortunately, the last time I saw you and Cinders it was Mafia I and we really didnt care to talk about the game. I must randomly appear at your house again soon (although I think your parents are slowly beginning to hate me).

Oh no, feel free to turn up randomly, as long as you call first and it isn't the middle of the night. And I believe it was Mafia II we last met up, and we did mention how we could screw it all since it said nothing in the rules about talking IRL. Didn't get much further than that, though. ^^" That's a point, actually. Real life stuff messing with online stuff, especially with games like this, annoys me muchly. >< If only people had the sense of mind to play like the rest of us... (Ignoring the fact that Lamby and I were constantly accusing each other, until we were both mafia. We never actually discussed the game proper. Oh, and I just lost. ^^)

You were a godsend. There's no way Baboon or Ocelot would have given each other their relic pieces. Everyone involved was fighting an uphill battle. which means i don't know that we must have been fighting on a pyramid or something

The only reason I stopped helping Mafia, is because they were not helping me, along with the fact that there was almost no way for Mafia to win, when I switched sides. In fact they pretty much ignored everybody on their side, and had a free for all most of the time. Me and Spiffy were really the only stable people in the "mafia" that had decent plans, that involved team work. Sorry if you consider that "cheating" and dont like "real life alliances" but its just the same as what Potato, and Babs did. They new each others roles even though they were not real in game allies. My final note, to this knowing of roles is: either one of us could have been lieing about our roles at anytime, and Spiffy "could" have potentially used me to kill off people that I didnt really, in character, want to kill. So, RL things arent really that big of an issue, and there is no way to stop them, unless you draft us for the military or something and send us to different places around the Earth of cuorse.

I think it would be good to go back to the roleplay style of playing. Funny accusations and stuff are way more fun. I think it's gotten a little too serious, people forget that it is infact a game.

God, I third that.
Serious accusations are for the endgame only. The bulk of the game should not be spent in accusations like "Well, I think Kazkame is a Mafia member because he voted this way this day and that way that day", but in accusations like "Well, I think Kazkame is a Mafia member because we all know he's good with dynamite. Heck, he used to work for Looney Tunes."

A kind of off subject question: Can we sell all the items we have left? Or are you just going to auto sell them for us? Or do we just have to keep them, and be stuck with it?

Hmmm... My ruling was that they could not be sold back, but I believe that there is a copy and paste artifact to the contrary. In keeping with the spirit of the law, and not a little mis-stated point, your drachma and epstones are the only payout you receive in addition to the pot.

KK, darn I got like 2 Marrionettes, a unicorn horn or two, and a few other things here and there, but that's ok, my fault for taking the safe way out.

The funny accusations sound well... funny I think it would prolly be better to go back to the way mafia was originally played or something, it sounds more like a game and less serious. (btw now I've lost ^^")

Yeah, I'll take some of the blame for making this all too serious, but it felt too much like you had to justify your votes instead of spending the post writing a story... Plus, I ran out of cool ways to say "Spiff's Mafia dammit" and the like.

"I cannot let this go on any longer! Notice the way that Spiffy's hair is at a slightly different angle this morning? A blatant sign of mafia involvment." Pikachu said pointing all accusing-like at Spiffy.
Vote: Spiffy
You see, muuuuch better!

Ok don't know if I should post this here or not...
But when are we starting the next mafia game? I leave the country on 29th July and would like to have started Mafia IV by then, especially seeing as apart from a festival next weekend I have very little to do in the daytime lol
Also, if we don't return to a normal setting for mafia... I propose a Pokémon theme. This afterall did start out as a pokémon forum.

I suspect you will be back in the country by the time anyone warms up to the idea of Mafia IV.
I've also thought a Pokemon theme might be fun, but I know if I were given control of Mafia IV it would simply play out as "Mafia I: Special Edition". No items, no mini-games, no resurrections. Just a dozen or so roles, including a few new yet simple ones I have in mind. Themes are fun, but I think Mafia IV really needs to be an extreme purist take on Mafia, with as few complications as possible.
And yes! Far in the future! Faaar!

So I guessing that when Mafia IV does start *cough* Oh God No please be never! *cough* that you will be hosting Phohatu.

I can't appoint myself to the position without the Consent of the People. But I would indeed like to be one of those considered for the job.

Oh ok because a little birdy told me that Pope would like to take a crack at being mayor of small town slowly being killed with dark pretenses by a group of organized crime members.
