No. No. Goddammit, NO. It makes it impossible to kill anyone. Please. Take out that rule for the next game.

I tried to vote no, but it wouldn't let me.

I can't vote and I'm too lazy to use IE to log in and vote that way, but my feeling is yes, they should. That's what freezes are for.

I think then you mean yes, potato. The main complaint we have isn't quite that you can be shielded at the last second (once you're certain you're going to be executed). Rather, it's the fact that the people with the freeze are at a considerable disadvantage, especially earlier in the game. Since you must freeze the person using the shield for it to be of any use, it's incredibly hard to prevent a shield from being used. There are simply too many possibilities as far as who uses the shield. In comparison, it's incredibly easy to sneak past being killed.

Yes but consider the ass load of other things that we get as innocents. I believe so far it's just been my own during the day was stopped by a shield so it doesn't seem that much of a problem.

...Yeah, except, the fact that shields can be used like this wasn't really brought to anyone's attention until Prime asked about it on the Day before this one. Allowing items to take such a primary role in the game, to the degree of superseding the basic concept of voting, takes away from things. ...And did you just call yourself an Innocent?

I think I MAY try running the next game, where there most likely will not be any shields.
If not, well, I'd propose to Uncle Photu that we go without items next time, and play with a few other ideas. Instead of shields, just make the bodyguard capable of doing the Doctor role for the mafia at night.
