I've gone and carried out most of the fixes for the forums. Now, they are about 2/3rds the size they were before, with all of the same juicy content.
Opinions on our more svelte forums? They're a little disorganized right now, but I'm working on it.
Which forum should Drama go under? Literature, right?

I dont like how RP is completely buried and hard to find.

I dunno, I found RP pretty quickly. They look... Well, slimmer isn't the word. I usually find that 4 smaller categories looks "neater" than 3 bigger ones, to be honest, if you could move anything to anywhere else to make a fourth. Perhaps put the Scrap Heap and the Writing Archive with each other? I dunno.

Well, there is always the option of putting the deadwood, but still significant, boards waaay at the bottom, though we don't have many of those any more. I think that by eliminating four forums from the main, and slimming down the descriptions for the others, it's much easier to skim Exy.
Mayhaps it would be best to put "Mafia" and "Writing Archive" under a fifth category, "Inactive Forums". They really just make it harder to see anything while they're up top.
Not that there IS a fourth category, of course.

That does improve the forums, I think. It makes it easier to skim through, since we're not looking around the dead forums.
Not that dead is the right word here.

...People like Loogs will probably hate me for saying this, but my first reaction is that I really don't like what's happened to the RP boards.
But I'll give this some time and see what I think of it.
EDIT: WAIT WHERE DID RP DISCUSSION GO?!

I do believe that Writing Archive is due for a new haul pretty soon, though that doesn't matter to most people.

Oh that's good.
BUT WHERE DID RP DISCUSSION GO

RP discussion is in the RP board itself, below the subboards. It's a sort of focused point for people to go into directly from the RP forums themselves.
Makes it a tiny bit easier to go "Huh, maybe this idea." when RPing and then you can just click on the the link to the ORP universe overboard and post it there, instead of going back to the Exy and digging around for RP discussion. Also forces noobs to read the rules a little bit more.

That sounds like a crappy home exercise machine.

I dunno, it's cheesy. I like it. xD
And I actually kinda agree with Pohatu and Choobs. RP kinda deserved its own category. In its current state, it's kinda hard to find.
And the Inactive Forums category's kinda stupid, methinks. ._.

I dunno, it moves all the inactive forums so they aren't cluttering up the active ones. :/
