Okay, this is gonna be a permanent topic, please minimize the idle chatter here, as it will be deleted. Anybody with anything to contribute, post it below here.
Cookies/Lovers: Alternate terms for the Karma system here.
Mafia: A game, similar to Survivor, but much more gruesome. The Exodus now is almost continuously ensnared in the thralls of this game, and there is usually around one game per month. It accepts anywhere between ten and twenty members, depending on the plan of the host. It was brought to the boards by Photu, who hosted the first two games. The third will be hosted by Lee, and after that, it is unknown who the next host shall be.
ORP: Online Role Play, a set of boards derived from the classic ongoing fantasy/sci-fi RP on the Pokeschool boards. It has a distinct legacy, some characters having more than 5 years of RPing behind them.
PRP: Pokemon Role Play: Originally the basis for Pokeschool's Role Playing boards, they branched off during a forum change to the Snitz. They have been suffering inactivity on the Exodus, and may be given the axe if they do not receive any activity for a while longer. (They will be rolled back into ORP once more if such an occurence happens.)
FRP/Space RP: A role play set in the future of ORP, with highly advanced technology and generally lower power-levels for characters. It is set exactly 30 years ahead of ORP, and frequently has older versions of current characters make guest appearances or even starring roles.
APCARP RP: A role play board that was the first to stand apart from the normal ORP universe. In the APCARP universe, very few things are different than the present day. However, there are superpowered beings, and they are controlled by various organizations throughout the world. APCARP RP details the struggles of these Powers, as they are called, to succeed in their labors within or against these titanic organizations.
Stand Alone Role Play: Stand Alone Role Play is the most conventional style of internet roleplay. Writers assume a character for a one-plot use, and usually retire that character afterwards. This is where most plots based on various shows and other media go.
Tyr RP: A newer addition to the boards, Tyr RP takes place on the world of Tyr, where society has burnt out the planet's technological resources and now has reverted to a primitive way of life. Ether is used to power magic-like abilities, and psionics have grown in use. Conflicts emerge over artifacts that can allow people to bend the ether to their will and use it as they desire.
