Okay, about the shoutbox:
Don't think that anything you do won't be seen by me. It automatically logs all entries. So far, no trouble, but just letting everybody know.
Also, I'm wondering: Where should it be placed? It's designed for the header of forums, not the footer, but we could move it there with a little hassle, I'm betting. So far, people are pretty evenly divided on where to put it.

I don't necessarily think it looks bad at the top, but it's a bit odd having the banner, the shoutbox, and the news fader all above the forum listing. You have to scroll down a full screen's worth to get to the forums.

I don't care where it's put.... but is there a way so that it's on every page? That way I don't have to keep a window open just for it?

Bottom please. I like it, but I'd be much happier if it were at the bottom.

Prime has pointed out that by removing the ads, the box violates the user agreement dealy. I'm trying to locate a replacement, preferably a footer sort of thing.

Its actually displaying both the add and the shoutbox now. I don't see an issue any longer.

Yeah, mine was doing that too at one point recently for some reason. Probably a stupid little glitch.

Okay, so as some of you may or may not know, I've been trying to make a greasemonkey script that would make the shout box refresh itself at some regular time interval.
Now, I could do it the easy way, coding wise, and just reload the entire page. But no one wants that to happen.
Anyways, if anyone knows javascript, that would be awesome, because I'm having issues getting the data. I know where the script that writes in the words is kept, and I know how it's written onto the page. I just don't know how to execute remote scripts. >.<
Damn my procedural-language-illiterate ways.
[EDIT]Well, I can now retrieve the data. Sweet. I just dunno if anything is happening, so I'll need to wait until some time when people are chatting
