So, what do you guys think? Someone on here has to read the books... I can't be the only one lol.
Personaly, I still think Snape is a good guy and that Wormtail will somehow do something for the good guys... Not sure about Draco..
The title is also pretty interesting. The two best theories I've heard are, 'Deathly Hallows is another way of saying Horocruxes' and the 'Hallows deffinition says 'a thining of the veil between the living world and the world of the dead, so that means that it could have something to do with the veil in the ministry of magic.'

Number 7, yeah. JK might sell out but I have faith that she won't cheapen the series with more books than she intended.

Well.. To be honest I don't like the name too much. But it does sound intresting. I agree with Snape being the good guy, but I do thing Draco will turn to the Light. Maybe helping Harry with a horcrux.
I can't wait. ^_^

I think Snape is beyond redemption at this point. I mean, he killed Dumbledore. (The preceding sentence was a spoiler, but really, what Harry Potter fan hasn't read all the books so far?) That's not the kind of thing the archetypical "apparently evil yet kind of heart" character would do. It's just too much. Plus, I'm all for Snape remaining evil simply because it's so uncommon for the most suspicious character to actually be villainous in the end. In matching up with the hero's expectations, it completely trounces the reader's.
I do expect Wormtail to do something good, though. Probably resulting in his death. Dumbledore did say that Wormtail owed Harry a favor, or words to that effect.
Everyone thinks Ron will die, but actually, I doubt any of our three heroes are doomed. Frankly I care more about Neville and Luna anyway. And the twins.

For some strange reason, I really want Hermione to die. I love Ron, the comedy with him is good stuff.
I've heard some theories about the name as well. Since Harry isn't going to be going back to Hogwarts, even if it does open this year alot of people think these Deathly Hallows, is Godric's Hollow. Deathly normally means surrounded by Death and Godrics Hollow is, and most people associate Hallows with All Hallows Eve, Halloween. Maybe they'll visit then, or all of Book Seven is focused on his old house.

Tch, JK Rowling is, indeed, going to write more books than intended. She stated that in a interveiw last year. There will be an eighth book. Also, Hermione, Harry, and Ron are all going to die.
Snape was forced into a corner by his oath, so we can't be 100% sure about him. Though, personally, I think Snape has been behind Voldemort all along. And by behind, I mean controlling. At will.

Here’s my reasoning. Dumbledore doesn’t fear death, as he stated in the first book. He seems more like a man that would welcome death (when it finally came). Yet right before he dies it almost seems like he is begging Snape not to kill him. Why would a man who doesn’t fear death be afraid to die? I think when he said “Please…” that it wasn’t meant as “Please… don’t kill me.” but as “Please…. do what you were told to do.”
Also I don’t think that the look of disgust on Snapes face was meant to be for Dumbledore. I think Snape was disgusted with himself because of what he was about to do.
Another thing, and I can’t remember the pages, I’ll look it up if you don’t remember that part, but when Hagrid says he overheard Dumbledore and Snape talking he said that this is what they said –
Snape “I don’t want to do it anymore.” Dumbledore “You promised”
That was the sum of it; I believe that Snape told Dumbledore about the vow and that Dumbledore told Snape to go through with it. Snape decided he didn’t want to kill him anymore and I think Dumbledore saw himself as an acceptable lost. I think he realized that as long as he is around that everyone will always rely on him. And that if he is gone everyone will finally step up and do what has to be done.

Oh goody! Harry Potter stuffs!
Well I'm convinced that Snape is good, with those wonderful reasons stated above...and I'd also like to extend the possibility I've read elsewhere that Snape may have been in love with Harry's mom? Or at least, it lends itself to being a possibility...

First Olaf is in love with Beatrice and now Snape is in love with Lily? No, I hope that isn't true. I mean, it's okay if he had a crush on her, but I seriously hope JKR doesn't spin a tale of forbidden love between them which James selfishly destroyed.

I think Snape was just mildly infatuated. Or heavily. I dunno.
And since Ron is the comedic character, he kinda has to die. Funny important characters always die. Especially if they're the sidekick.
Anyways, that last Harry Potter book wasn't so hot. In fact, it was downright bad. If the trend continues, by the 8th book, JK Rowling will have destroyed a series that was actually good. Especially since it's such a sell out move. The only reason I'm still waiting and reading right now is because I just want to finish it all and stuff.

This is going to be the last of the books I think. Harry is going to have to kill himself at the end, there for ending the serries.

Yeah, I'm just saying, if the 8th book comes, I'm so not reading it. Actually, I probably will. Damn you JK Rowling.

I thought Prince was mostly up to standard. It had its share of great things, such as the whole character of Professor Slughorn. I only had a few complaints, like the fact that Blaise Zabini was given a wonderful introduction and then completely vanished for the second half of the book -- I was sure JKR had had something cool in store for him -- and the concept of Inferi. Zombies in Harry Potter? Nope, not buying it.
i mean zombies are really cool and everything i just don't think they have a place in harry potter
also it was pluralized wrong it should have been inferii
okay language geek time over

I so wanna buy this book, scan through all the pages where plot twists and character twists occur, and then shout them out in public places by page number and occurance! Oi, these books haven't sparked my interest since the first one, the only good one in the series by my standards
I hope Harry dies... Avada Kadabra to the face!

Who knows if he really has to commit suicide? Just saying, there might be some trick he can use. It could go either way, really, as Rowling likes to **** with the speculators' heads.
It's an okay series. Worse than some, but still worth reading.

In my opinion Harry is an unwilling Horcrux of Voldemort meaning he will have to die in order for voldemort to die...
I do have one problem with him dying though... He's still a virgin! The dude has had a terrible life... suddenly finds out hes a wizard... almost dies so many times... Sirius disappears behind a veil thing (Personally I think he'll reappear in the last book)... he has kissed a total of 2 girls in his life... Gah the guy never gets a break...
I'm only looking forward to reading this book because its the end of the series, im not even bothering to pre-order it.. I will just pick up a copy on release day.

Harry's a loser. He'll die a virgin.
Anyways, I think he's only kissed one and a half. One was Cho. The other half was Hermione kissing him on the cheek, which doesn't really count.

And Ginny, don't forget Ginny! He kissed her, they dated for most of HBP.
I really don't understand why people dislike book six, it was a decent read. Yes some things weren't so great but it was still an amazing book.

I almost spit out this wad of chocolate all over the keyboard after reading that post, Lee.
I forgot about Ginny. What happened to them again? I probably don't remember because it was so unrememberable.
So then Harry's got two and a half kisses. Damn, now he's ahead of me. Sad.
I think I just don't like book 6 because JK Rowling killed off Sirius in the book before. Apparently Beatrice is being played by that chick in Fight Club in the upcoming movie, which is gonna be sick because she's awesome.
*sudden thoughts of a stylish sex scene happening in HP5 movie*
Weird.
