Yoshimitsu sat on the edge of a cliff, his legs dangling carelessly over the edge, leaning back and looking directly up. The stars were twinkling overhead, a crescent moon bathing the ground below in its silvery glow. Yoshimitsu's features looked somewhat ethereal in this light, his skin seeming to mirror that silver glow, his hair taking on a much lighter shade, his eyes reflecting the sky above. He closed his eyes and let himself fall backwards, lying on the soft grass and thinking. The waves crashed into the rocky cliff face below, the sound echoing audibly. Yoshimitsu pulled himself to his feet and hopped off the edge of the cliff, his fingers glowing slightly. He thrust his hand into the surface of the rock, his energy-coated fingers melting through the stone and slowing his descent. His feet came into contact with a ledge below, which he sat on and returned to his thoughts, feeling the salty sea air on his skin.
Something was not right, and he could tell it easily. There had been a great power shift somewhere in the world, and he could sense it, but he could not locate the source of this shift, nor could he decide on what was causing it. He had a hunch, of course, but he could not base it in any fact. In any case, something had to be done about this disturbance. Yoshimitsu sighed openly leaned back again, his back coming into contact with the cliff. He was weary of everything that was happening already. Sick and tired of it. Ever since being restored and regaining his memories, he had nothing but trouble, and usually involving him. He also disliked staring in a mirror - he wanted to return to his roots, and his original appearence. Without further ado, he stood up and ascended the cliff, using that same energy technique as before.
Some time later, he was sat on his bed in the house he and Vincent owned. He had raided his clothes and hair dye supplies, concocting some odd mixture of dyes to acheive a vibrant blue colour, almost identical to what his original hair colour was. He had abandoned his new clothes on the bed behind him, prefering an older t-shirt of his. It was blue, but the short sleeves faded into black, and there were solid black triangles stretching to the armpits on either side of the top. He was wearing black, quite baggy jeans that were greyed slightly from his old daily wear. He kept a hold of his new black trainers, however, as his old trainers were literally falling to pieces. Hanging at his waist was an old sword of his, the blade dulled slightly from lack of use, but Yoshimitsu knew that he could easily restore it, given some time and some appropriate materials. He kept a hold of his Guan Dao, however, as he seemed to be proficient enough with it. "Swordsmaster, eh?" Yoshimitsu chuckled to himself. He stood up from his bed and started searching his room for any interested tidbits.
He had so many memories just lying around in his room. Under his bed, he found a necklace with a small sapphire on it, a present Alex had said would help him if he really needed it, a short letter written by Hector from when the two of them were good friends and rivals, a rose he had found on his travels and kept alive somehow (though it was definitely withering now), a sheath for his first ever sword he had made himself and a box full of random interesting stones he used to find and collect. He sat on the bed again and started to look through the stones. One of them, a heart shaped fool's gold stone, Vincent had found. Vincent had discarded it, but Yoshimitsu had taken it while Vincent wasn't paying attention. Another, an ordinary stone that he had smashed during training, but one of the chunks had a "Y" cut into it accidentally. He had taken it in hopes of finding the other letters of his name. Vincent had actually carved some stones for him, but he could still only make up "Yoshi". Almost subconsciously, he lifted a finger and shot a needle of energy through each stone, threaded them and tied them around his neck, with the sapphire Alex had given him at the end of it all. After closing the lid of the tin and slotting it under the bed again, he tied the sheath to his waist and slotted his sword in it, and folded up the letter and put it in his pocket. Without much more thought, he continued searching his room.
The room was full of random trinkets he'd collected over the ages. Unlike Vincent, he'd had a tendancy to collect souveniers, and display them all over the room. On the walls, he had a number of chunks of stone carved with ancient text and images. He didn't know what any of them meant, but he thought they were interesting enough to keep a hold of. His cupboards held nothing but remains of villains they had encountered and defeated: the head of a random monster; the mask of the "phantom ghost"; a claw of a dragon; a dragon-scale vest someone had fashioned for them after defeating the dragon. Yoshimitsu took the vest and weighed it. It was quite light, and dragon scales where definitely durable. He slipped it on under his t-shirt, and continued looking through the random objects. He closed the cupboard again, and sat down in front of his dressing table. He liked the table, he had personalised it, though not in the best way. It was full of carvings of random events he had cut in. More prominant than all of the others was an image of him fighting Bahamut, and mirrored, Vincent fighting Tiamat, both in that volcano on Dejurrin Island.
Yoshimitsu blinked. Then he slapped himself on the forehead. Dejurrin Island. Of course. If there was one place that Vincent was likely to go to, it was Dejurrin Island. After all, that was where they ended their rivalry, in that last battle. Yoshimitsu stood up instantly and made for the front door. His hand was resting on the handle when he remembered something. He ran back upstairs, taking the stairs two at a time and practically smashed open the door to Vincent's room. Hanging on the wall was exactly what he was looking for. He snatched it and exitted the house, his hands sparking with energy. He clicked his fingers, and the massive form of Bahamut appeared in front of him, at the edge of the cliff face. Yoshimitsu jumped on to Bahamut's back, sitting comfortably at the base of his neck.
"Bahamut, we need to go to Dejurrin Island right now. Everything that's been worrying me... I think we'll find our answers there," Yoshimitsu said, slipping some large sunglasses on. Bahamut nodded, and immediately set off for Dejurrin Island.

OOC: Someone can delete all the OOC posts now. BIC: Karcharos had tried many times to accomplish his goal. He had tried more times though to find the person whom he knew was strong enough. There were a number of accomplished fire mages in the world, but all the ones he had tried had failed him; they simply were too weak. Each time he scratched a name off of his list, he grew angrier. " The injustice of it all to wait so long..." he thought bitterly to himself. Still, it was understandable that the mages may have been holding back. After all, it would seem to them to be a deplorable act to do what he had commanded them to do. Regardless of whether they were too weak or had morals that were too strong, they did serve the purpose of at least being delicious. Karcharos looked at his list, on it were the names of prominent seeming fire mages and also on the list were friends and acquaintances of the mages. He scanned down to the name that was circled in red "Yoshimitsu" it was in the subsection of his next target. Karcharos didn't know what kind of powers this Yoshimitsu had, but it was irrelevant unless he was a fire mage. All Karcharos wanted was information. Karcharos' boots thudded dully on the ground as he approached the home near a cliff. He inhaled deeply and reveled in the scent of the saltwater. He picked up another scent: A human. If his information was correct, it should be his target. He grinned beneath his mask as he confidently strode forward. His target however appeared long before he got there; the human Karcharos assumed to be Yoshimitsu had bolted out of the house and summoned a massive creature. He was worried he had been spotted, but Yoshimitsu seemed to pay him no mind as he gave the beast some instructions and then started flying away on it. Karcharos had to hurry or he would lose his lead, however, he also didn't want a confrontation so soon as the summoning of the beast could potentially be the tip of the iceberg in regards to Yoshimitsu's power. He ran full sprint towards the cliff edge tearing off his cloak, hood, and gloves. With some effort, he managed to stuff them into a bag that had been concealed under his cloak. He leaped off the cliff and tore off his boots mid-fall and hastily shoveled them into the bag as well and had just enough time to straighten his body out before hitting the water surprisingly quietly. Had anyone looked, there would have been a grey and black blur that would have disappeared with a minuscule splash. Karcharos grinned in the water; he was well camouflaged in the dark water and could see the outline of the beast against the moonlight above meaning he could see them but they'd have a considerable amount of trouble seeing him. His powerful form seemed to cut through the water like a knife and he began tailing his target from a safe distance.

Prime looked up sharping, having felt the air pressure around him suddenly spike. Looking towards the ocean, he could clearly see a massive creature taking off from a far off cliff. He could see a man astride its back, and they were headed off over the water. He didn't know where they were headed, but he had a sudden desire to speak to the man on the dragon's back. It wasn't often he felt like someone would be able to understand him, and of all people someone like him should be able to. Maybe offer him an explanation of why he'd been made to stand out in a world where most simply blended in. Prime was tempted to form his wings and follow the man, but that was to obvious a use of his power, and people did live around here. It'd be better to remain out of site. He took off down the coastline at a heavy sprint, his non-human body allowing a greater amount of speed than normal, but not enough to be noticed by anyone far off on the coastlines. He thought he saw someone dive into the water, but ignored the flashy mirage, instead focusing on following the dragon.
A path of shimmering white mithril formed just below the surface of the water as Prime ran, and quickly fell off behind him after he'd passed over it. It wouldn't likely be noticable in daylight, and during the night it would only look like the shimmering of moonlight below the surface of the water, so he thought himself fairly safe. Following his own path, he follow the dragon from a safe enough distance, though he struggled heavily to match its flight speed, until he was far out enough on the water that he could no long recognise land. Only then did he wonder where they were headed.

Earlier that day, Nick had spotted a funny looking fish, one that according the books had been long extinct. He'd waited all day and into the night waiting on his hover bike, a fishing rod in hand, waiting for the fish to bite. He'd caught a whole lot of random fish that he really didn't care about, and at one point, got a baby giant squid, but he threw it away as if it weren't anything special.
Nick sighed and clipped his fishing rod to the side of his bike while turning the vehicle on. The bike made a sharp roar before dying down to a fairly audible rumble, jerking hard into the air in the process. The alchemist turned the bike toward his home when above him, he spotted what appeared to be a dragon.
"Oooo!"
Nick, easily forgetting about his fish, oriented himself in the same direction as the beast and began to follow.

Cooper sat upon the edge of a cliff watching the waves lick the bottom, his headphones were as normal in his ears a funky tune blasting out. He swayed his head in time with the music as he looked out in the direction of the horizon, Cooper gasped at the sight.
A dragon, a real live dragon was soaring across the sky. He'd never seen one before, though he had read about them. Cooper had always dreamed about seeing one up close. The young man stood quickly, dropping off the cliff and soaring down with ease. Cooper spun quickly a white light in the shape of a board burst under his feet seconds before hitting the water, before propelling him through it following the Dragon to wherever it was going.

Yoshimitsu swivelled where he was seated and planted his legs firmly into the grooves between Bahamut's wings, looking behind him as the dragon flew to Dejurrin. He mentally scolded himself for not thinking of the island earlier. It was easily the perfect place for Vincent to disappear too, for whatever the teenager was planning. Without a doubt, Yoshimitsu decided that the island would have changed again to suit its host. It had done the past two times anyone had visited. Yoshimitsu closed his eyes and thought for a moment. He hadn't seen Vincent since the pair of them had entered that castle, so he had no idea what was happening with his friend. However, that only motivated him further.
"Yoshimitsu," Bahamut's rumbling voice broke through his thoughts. "It seems were have a following..." Yoshimitsu hopped to his feet and slid down Bahamut's back to the base of his tail. Sure enough, there were at least three people following him. One of them, he saw, was sprinting along a strip of metal he was rapidly forming in front of him. The next, apparently surfing against the tide, riding a board made of light. The last, he could sense their presence but he could not see them. There was someone else too, he could practically smell them, but he couldn't not pinpoint their location. Yoshimitsu climbed back up Bahamut's back, and addressed the dragon. "What d'ya reckon?" He asked. "None of them have obvious hostile intentions," the dragon growled. "I cannot tell if they will be able to face what lies ahead, though." "I dunno... it depends on whether Vincent's feeling charitable or not... Hell, even we don't know what he's got in store for us," Yoshimitsu said. "How long to go now?" "Not long. We should be able to see the island in only moments," Bahamut replied.
Yoshimitsu nodded, and ascended to sit on Bahamut's head, sitting on the dragon's enormous snout and looking ahead. Adjusting himself to allow Bahamut to see fully, and fumbled with the sapphire attached to his new necklace. Alex had said that it would come in handy when he needed it most, but how would Yoshimitsu know when that time was? Yoshimitsu sighed and ran his finger along the rest of the necklace, eyes staring ahead. Something was coming into sight on the horizon. Yoshimitsu knew what it was immediately. It was the island.
What he didn't know, however, was that there was a barrier surrounding the island, preventing anyone from entering. At least, that is, he didn't know until Bahamut flew straight into it, Yoshimitsu slipping from the dragon's snout upon impact. Luckily, Bahamut caught the teenager and flew back until they could see the barrier properly. It looked familiar to Yoshimitsu, though he couldn't quite place it. Bahamut cleared his throat and placed Yoshimitsu back on to his snout. "Hold on," Bahamut said, and Yoshimitsu immediately hopped to one of the dragon's crest horns and grabbed a hold of it, holding on very tightly. Bahamut's head reared back, then he shot a massively powerful jet of white flames at the barrier. The flames smashed into the barrier, making it glow as it tried to resist the attack. Yoshimitsu snapped his fingers in sudden realisation of where he had seen the barrier before.
"Vincent, you unoriginal git," He said, releasing Bahamut's crest and hopping back on to his snout, snapping his fingers until some electricity sparked between them. The barrier was identical to the one protecting the city from Yoshimitsu's home dimension. Yoshimitsu gave a soft smirk and clapped his hands together, slowly seperating them. Electricity was flowing freely between his palms, jumping from finger to finger, dancing between his palms, an intricate dance of danger. Yoshimitsu brought his hands back, then thrust them forward, releasing the energy right at the barrier. It mingled with the fire, powering the attacks up and causing the barrier to glow brighter as it strained under the attacks.
"I hope to God those other guys get the message," Yoshimitsu muttered to himself.

Karcharos had been following from a distance, so when the dragon slammed into what seemed to be an invisible wall, he was more than able to maintain a safe distance. He was glad he did not choose to attack when the dragon spewed white flames out, which illuminated the area. Karcharos hastily sank deeper in the water to avoid detection. "Electricity, hm?" Karcharos thought as he saw Yoshimitsu thrust electrical energy at the barrier. He'd make it a point not to fight him in the water unless he had been weakened. Speaking of weakened, Karcharos noticed the barrier beginning to strain under the force of the combined attacks. His target was trying to get in through the barrier and Karcharos would follow.

Six sat crosslegged, his face practically touching the barrier. It wasn't something he had come across before but the power that emenated from it was very familiar. His blackfire disk flicked for a moment as he pushed forward, testing the barriers strength. It wasn't going to break easily that was for sure.
He hadn't expected this when he had set of earlier that evening. Six was sitting at home watching a movie when a familiar energy pulsated through his very being. It was Bahamut, he was certain of that. He hadn't felt the creature in a long time, not since Yoshi had given him the great dragon.
It was unusual for Yoshimitsu to summon Bahamut unless something was up. It had been a long time since the two old friends had crossed paths so he had decided to check it out. He was speeding through the air, high above the ocean, when his blackfire disk had connected with the barrier almost throwing Six in to the sea below.
Six could feel Bahamut on the opposite side of the island now, he figured it was time he caught up with Yoshi. Backing off from the barrier he turned 180° before heading off in a wide circle around the enormous energy field. He could see a light in the distance, it wasn't long before he caught sight of Bahamut and Yoshimitsu in the distance. It seemed that Yoshi was attempting to break through the barrier with some kind of electrical attack.
"Need a hand?" Six yelled drawing up close to the huge dragon. A ball of black flames appeared in his outstretched hand.

Karcharos saw another figure approach Yoshimitsu and his dragon. Since Karcharos was seeking information, it would be wise to get a better look at the new arrival to see if he had the potential to be of any use to Karcharos. He shot up silently in the dimly lit murky water and poked only the top of his head out, just enough so that he could see the man's face illuminated in the fire. His wet, white hair stuck to his grey face for only a moment before he dipped back into the depths. He wasn't too concerned with being seen as anyone near the dragon's white-hot fire wouldn't be able to see much else that was concealed in relative darkness. It would be like going inside a dark house after you had been out in the bright sunlight all day; your eyes would need to readjust.
Nearly everything Karcharos had was water-proof or able to be used in the water and for good reason. Using the dim light, he looked through his bag and retrieved his notebook. Inside was detailed information on his targets and their associates and in most cases, there were photos of the targets. They appeared to match and the amulet seemed to seal it--Karcharos had found one of his potential targets. He didn't need anything from Yoshimitsu anymore, his new target was Six.

As soon as Nick saw the dragon hit an invisible wall, he pulled up on the handlebars. The kinetic force that kept the vehicle afloat pointed down, thus, when he pulled up, the force was applied in a forward direction, stopping him. The 'cycle rumbled loudly as it's rider decided what to do. Nick was curious as to what was going on, so he leaned forward slightly, causing his craft to move forward slowly.
The alchemist came to a stop shouting distance away from the dragon, just as the fire and electricity began to tear at the barrier. Nick watched for a while. Having seen fireworks like that before, he wasn't too entertained, and he definitely didn't think taking out his notepad to jot down observations would be the best use of time. He also had no way of attacking a strong barrier. So he continued watching.

Cooper twisted his feet quickly his board of pure white energy following as it skidded to a half metres before the barrier that had been erected around whatever the dragon was heading for.
The teen looked up, he was almost directly below the magnificent creature now and he had a better view of it. A man stood upon its back as well as another next to it on a flying disk. Cooper watched as the man on its back fired at the barrier attempting to break it and the other offer help.
---
Ice formed beneath the feet of a man as he walked across the air gaining height towards the rear of the dragon, Bahamut. Aurora’s fierce blue eyes darted around watching the new arrivals as he continued his journey to the side of two old friends. Aurora cracked his knuckles as he came alongside the two other warriors.
“It has been along time Six, Yoshimitsu,” Aurora’s chilling voice called. “Need some help?”

Prime rose quickly from the water, liquid mithil covering his skin and aiding him in his flight. He would've formed his habitual wings, but he needed more material to work with now, and his wings had always taken up to much mithril to leave him any leeway. He floated above Bahamut, and waved at his father. "Didn't expect to run into you anytime soon." He said, then lifted his right arm. Mithril began to flow from it, slowly forming a long, large cannon, with eight rings of mithrl behind it. Behind that, large bullets began to form, and the eight rings began counter rotating, generating a magnetic field. All at once, the slowly constructed rail gun was complete, and Prime began firing the rail gun repeatedly, the bullets quickly surpassing hypersonic velocity and slamming into the barrier, only to return under Primes guidance to be fired again, keeping the barrier under a constant barrage.

Yoshimitsu withdrew one of his hands, stopping the flow of electricty from it, and started to think. The barrier was supposed to drop if it was forced to endure a certain level of damage. He never quite understood how Vincent had managed to shatter the barrier by focusing a single attack on a weak spot or whatever he had managed to do. It seemed so complicated, the way he had explained it, about the barrier flowing or something. Yoshimitsu sighed, making a mental note to pay more attention to things his friends said in future. His thoughts were interrupted by a familiar voice. "Six, good to see ya," he replied, grinning. "Let me just try somethin' first, then you can jump in with your attacks."
Yoshimitsu snapped his fingers again, and again, and again, each time a different coloured spark flashed between his thumb and finger. Blue, red, yellow, purple, green, blue again, white, black... Apparently, he was cycling through the colours, trying to decide on one. Again, he was interrupted by another familiar voice. "Auro, heya. Haven't seen ya in a while," he said, clicking his fingers for a last time. A white-blue spark flashed, then another, and another until his hand was covered in them. He curled his fingers into a fist, then thrust his hand out, releasing the attack. The beam was made up entirely of those sparks, the sparks having joined into one solid element. It was a blast of ice, changed into the raw element. It joined the other two attacks, merging into a single tri-elemental attack.
The powerful beam, along with the constant barrage supplied by Prime and his rail gun, seemed too much for the barrier to hold, and it shattered, shards of whatever made it scattering before apparently dissolving out of existence. Yoshimitsu hopped back on to Bahamut's head, next to one of the horns on his head, and looked at Six and Aurora in turn. "Six, Auro, I dunno how familiar you are with my friend Vincent, right," he said. "But not that long ago, we both went into this castle thing, long story, but we both had to... well, actually, I dunno what that was about. But I came out of it fine and dandy, and Vincent, whatever he encountered there, brought back all the darkness in his heart. Or something. I dunno how it works. Anyway, long story short, he's turned into a villain, and I'm gonna go find out why."
Yoshimitsu finished, then burst out laughing. "God, I haven't changed at all, have I?" He said, grinning broadly. "I'm still some careless git. Well, anyway, you coming?" Without waiting for an answer, he tapped Bahamut on the head, and the dragon set off for the main island again.

"I don't know Vincent particularly well but Yisimentsu was a good friend of mine, that makes Vincent a friend too. I'll do what I can to help." Six said with a grin, this sounded like it could be a challenge. Six followed closely behind as Yoshi and Bahamut set off again. He looked back to make sure Aurora and the strangely familiar kid were still behind them. He also noticed another figure a little further back riding some kind of hover bike. This guy looked familiar too but Six wasn't sure if he'd actually seen him before or if his brain was just messing with him. The young warrior shrugged it off and powered forward trying to keep up with Bahamut. OOC: Not much to work with in that last post Ell
