It was a dark day, the nigh-black clouds gathered in the sky releasing a torrential downpour, almost as if there was an ocean in the sky pouring down on the earth. The rain was bounding down, like a billion tiny needles falling at once, completely drenching everything within seconds. Illiana tugged her cape around her tightly, not wishing to get any wetter than she had to.
"You're pushing it," a voice said, stepping up behind Illiana. She turned to see a tall-ish, maybe six foot boy with dark brown hair, an eyepatch covering his right eye. He extended his hand, a small smile on his face. "I'm Leo."
"Illiana," Illiana replied, nodding and shaking Leo's hand. "Anyway, what do you mean, 'I'm pushing it'?"
"Oh, it's pretty obvious," Leo said. "Right over there's a huge mountain, right? And some creature's living there, an' you wanna get it as a summon, right?"
"What?" Illiana said, startled. How did he know all this? Leo smiled when he saw the look on Illiana's face.
"Let's just say I have experience in these matters, mmkay?"
"If you say so," Illiana said, shrugging. She turned again and started walking, rather quickly, out of the town and towards the field. She glanced behind her, and saw that Leo was following her looking slightly amused.
The mountain wasn't that far away, but it was still far enough to have Illiana breathless by the time she reached it. Leo, who was still following her, seemed perfectly fine when he arrived. Illiana spun on the spot and stared a Leo, a firey look in her eyes.
"Just who are you?" She demanded.
"Oh, I'm just me," Leo said dismissively. Illiana gave a curious, yet somewhat annoyed look, but she did not pursue the topic any further. Leo gave another amused look, but quickly turned it into a half-hearted shrug.
"Right, since you're here," Illiana said. "And since you know so much... What do we have to do first?"
"Oh, that's simple," Leo said. "We have to enter."
