Hey all,
I just came up with the single greatest science-fiction time-travel (though it isn't exactly time that's being traveled through) D&D campaign in the history of sci-fi sort-of-time-travel D&D campaigns. (It's a very specific category, which is why I feel so comfortable proclaiming mine the best).
Here's the problem:
My usual crop of players includes a couple that have gotten divorced. One of them--the lady--loved my taunting, mystery, LOST-eqsue storytelling style, while the other--the dude--hated it, so the choice of which player should keep being part of the group is clear, only, most of my players chose the dude, leaving me with too few players to run the campaign!
Should I get new people? Wait for the lady to make some new friends and then rope them in? Make an absurd problem about roleplaying just to visit ArchipelagoExodus after like a billion years? ALL of these are good options...

show the dudes an incredibly mediocre time such that they all quit and by the time that happens the lady will probably have friends
