Been debating writing up campaign journals from the game I'm currently running, wasn't sure there would be much interest.
If I were to do such a thing, would people like a more play-by-play account or perhaps a stylized prose record?

Cendra and I are currently co-running a D&D campaign set in a setting of our own devising. We've got like twelve players, I think, though only five-eight people play at a time. We do so via conference call, and the recorded sessions are online somewhere. Our characters are as follows: -Ellien: Water Genasi Ranger (Played by Cendra): Ellien's family was separated in a gnoll attack years ago, and now she's travelling the world trying to reunite them. Ellien is infamous for having terrible in combat rolls, though this last session she critical-gutted a giant anglerfish from the inside. -Kava: Dragonborn Ranger: A draconic "wild child" who lost her family in the wilderness in her infancy, she managed to survive on her own until she encountered an elderly loner elf who raised her, and then Ellien. The two taught eachother, Kava learning about civilization and Ellien learning the ways of the wild. Kava is now seeking out other Dragonborn, to try to learn of her heritage. Unfortunately, all she has met thusfar is Rasgor. -Rasgor: Dragonborn Cleric: Rejected by the dragon kingdom on both sides of the world (from the metallics for being too wild and believing it was ethical to keep slaves, and by the chromatics for being otherwise too merciful and refusing to bow to his superiors). He's trying to find his spot in the world, and despite being quite unhinged, he's proved his loyalty to the party and has saved their butts on several occasions. Continues insisting that he wants a kobold slave, despite the other party members trying to disuade him. That's all I had time to write up on my lunch, but I'll churn out some more (and setting details) later.

My handsome wizard based off tom brady once used a gust of wind to throw our barbarian (who is also our chef) axes first into a lizard person that was barely outside of his move range.

We had a ratfolk gunslinger who was racist to non ratfolks but had grown to the like the party. In the second story line of the game we went to his home that was a lawless town run by gangs. We helped his gang out, another human gang, and a group of paladins outside the city. When the time came to take on the main badguys we called in all our favors and marched on them with an army. Little did we know that our ratfolk gunslinger had coordinated with his gang and had hidden a lot of explosive on both sides of the fight they were suppose to hang back and provide cover while we went in to face the base but when we went in they activated the explosive killing off the leader of the rival gang and most of her people and killed all the paladins. Then they played mop up. When we came out from fighting the boss we found out about his betrayal. He said he would still travel with us but none of us trusted him again or ever let him be alone after that point again. It was beautiful.

currently I'm playing a tiefling sailor bard named Shahrazad II (Shahrazad I, her mother, was also a tiefling sailor bard, in the pilot game of a campaign that never got off the ground)
She also uses a fiddle as her main instrument and sings some jolly good sea shanties about the current battle. Her first move was to roar like a dragon to scare off some dire wolves. Thaumaturgy is a really nice cantrip to pair with the bard class let me tell ya
