OOC- So basically I got bored tonight. I just had oral surgery yesterday and the drugs are kinda messing with my head so I decided to type up a new PRP and create a new character at the same time. Hope you all enjoy.
BIC- Late summer was indeed a fine time of year near Olivine City. The rolling hills were covered in warm grass and the sky was dotted with billowing white clouds. Trees tossed long shadows across the ground, cooling off the ground and giving shelter to small creatures. The hot sun pulsated in the sky like some sort of giant light bulb. Everything was perfect. Everything was peaceful and serene. This was just the type of atmosphere that Lucas enjoyed.
Lucas was a quiet, collected individual. He never really liked to be put into situations were he was forced to leave his comfort area much. He was at peace with himself and that was the only thing that mattered to him. Lucas had been of this state of mind ever since his father had left so many years ago. Lucas never really got close to his father, only ever allowed to call him Captain Kanarazu. Captain Kanarazu was very involved in the military and was rarely at home. Lucas never grew close to the man that was supposed to be his father figure. Instead he grew close to his mother’s brother, Paul White. Lucas was taught that even though his mother was English and his father was Japanese that he could fit in no matter how he felt, all he had to do was to find out who he was himself.
Lucas took those words to heart and began to follow them as a code of life. Lucas found himself as a peaceful soul that preferred to put up a fearsome appearance than to fight a battle for no reason. He would gladly battle if put into a situation where he had no choice, but to start a conflict was out of the question. Other than that the only reason Lucas would dare get into a battle was so that his partners would get stronger.
Lucas sat underneath a tree with one knee up and one hand sat up upon it. His black skater shoes, black jeans, and black tee-shirt held oddly still while his white button down tee-shirt drifted softly on the warm wind. Lucas’s dark tan skin and black hair gave him the appearance of a crossbreed which he was, but nothing outlandish. A restful expression graced his face as the afternoon sun shone all around him. Near Lucas’s feet lay a black and red hound with white bone like structures at various points of its body. The little dog like creature snoozed quietly in a patch of sunlight and occasionally let out a bit of a snore. In a branch above Lucas sat a brown and grey bird with red wings. The fearsome looking bird was pruning its feathers and snapping at passing bugs. Just above the pruning bird floated a purple ball with volcano like openings covering its surface. In the middle of the orb was a grinning face and a skull and cross bones, giving the creature a frightening appearance. Spearow, Houndour, and Koffing, Lucas’s team of pokemon and most trusted friends.
“It seems like a perfect day right guys? I couldn’t ask for anything better in a day. Warm grass, nice cool shade, my best friends at my side. Everything is so peaceful today. It feels good to relax once and a while.” Lucas stated softly to his resting partners.
Just as soon as Lucas had finished his speech about how peaceful it was an explosion rocked the ground and caused the tree he rested against to quake. Spearow fell from the branches and landed in his lap. Houndour stirred and sniffed the air for the source of the explosion. Koffing floated down to eye level with Lucas and said its name softly in an unsure manner. Lucas drew himself up to his feet and looked towards the city to see the famous Olivine Light House smoking from the top. Something wasn’t right and there seemed to be a force pulling him towards it.
“Alright, looks like we might have a fight ahead of us. Why does it always have to come on such a nice day? Hound, Gasser return and rest up. Aero, you’re with me all the way partner.” Lucas said as he recalled Houndour and Koffing and began running towards the light house.
OOC- Basically jump in somewhere in the crowd gathering below the light house and once we have a couple of people we'll head in.
