Hi! I like animation. I'm not much of an artist, unless I'm allowed pixel-precision, or if I'm basically tracing something. Otherwise, the only art I'm good at is writing (And it is debatable that I have that skill.). Recently, though, I've discovered a personal flair to be found within animating. And because I'm pretty sure animation is art, I made this whole thread just to talk about it! I have a character in Househeld, and the early stuff is a pretty good example of my animation skills as of this summer, but recently I took a Flash Animation course, and I wanted to share the final with everyone and see if you had any comments on it. It's here! I had 3-ish weeks to do it, and I spent a majority of it storyboarding the concept in my head. Probably a total of 16 hours of solid animating went into the finished product. The song credits for Nobuo Uematsu are wrong, because I never used his song, but I'm really quite lazy. My focus during this flash was on staging, or the idea of really establishing an idea for the audience. So! Any thoughts? Criticism? Compliments (blushu)? Cheap shots?

Wow, the animation while he was descending the staircase was really fluid. So you're the Sage of Flash now, right? Ready to dispense your flashly wisdom on us as we collectively move past the era of inferior animation programs, like the shit I've used?
