What? My undying hatred? Or just the inevitability that a discussion thread was going to be made and people were going to gush?

I hate Diablo III on the premis they removed the cool classes and replaced them with pirates of the carribean classes. *sigh* Goddamn witch doctor ruined the entire game for me. Fuck that.

That is not entirely true, just when it's constantly gushed about by the masses.

I think he's referring to the fact that you have to be logged into battle.net and have an internet connection to play it. Given the prevalence of multi-player, I don't really think that's asking too much. And I personally don't have a problem with being required to log in to battle.net since it still means I can play D3 anywhere I install it.
BUT THAT'S JUST ME.
Let's talk about how awesome demon hunters are. Pretty flippin' awesome.

So because a game has a lot of people that love to play over the internet, everyone should have to submit to being constantly connected to the internet? That's just silly, and again we're bringing up the idea that you can install it anywhere you want once you have the account and what not, but what you're not mentioning is how they could just as easily provide this service to people without needing to go to this extreme! And even still, what about the people who were just fans of the series and didn't like to play with other people, why should they be forced into buying another service? Because most people do it sounds like a pretty terrible reason. Not to mention the fact you have to be CONSTANTLY connected to the servers is creating quite a ruckus because so many people rely on wireless internet services.
For example, if I wanted to play the game, I'd be screwed. If I want to use the internet I have to rely on wireless internet instead of a cable connection. At times I can hardly load a video on YouTube, or even something on this very forum, because my laptop is abnormally terrible with wireless internet. The internet itself is fine, but the wireless is terrible and my laptop does a terrible job of receiving it. So I'd hardly make any progress and it'd be more-so that I've just thrown my money down the damn drain to play a game on my own that would have been exactly the same if they'd kept their internet rules out of it!

So, curiosity, did anyone bother trying the Darkening of Tristram event? How do folks feel about the Necromancer coming into D3?
