I accept this award for no apparent reason but I will agree that this is a fine day to say...
Point DL.

With the awards ceremony concluded I would like to thank all those that voted for me in the awards I received, and even to those who saw fit to possibly vote for me, even with awards I didn't win.
Thank you all

I heard that they used Clippy to set up NORAD.
Which he immediately renamed without asking, "Ignored".

Sometimes I wonder if these award topics are here, just as a way in which to insult me. -_-
Seriously, there are worse RP's than that. I agree that the name is a total load of crap, but the RP itself wasn't that bad. And, on top of that, that's when I started to flesh out Prime more as a person than a freaking battlegod. Am I to take it that my efforts are fruitless and unappericiated?

Ok, I guess I'll do a massive cutback on the rping then. Maybe try my hand at doing 3d models of some of the characters in here.

Eh, I didn't vote for it. Not the best RP, but yeah, it's not bad for what was almost a party topic when it came down to it. I think it may have also been tainted by the whole drama hurricane it birthed because of Loogs's "GAY SECKS IS OKAY, BUT STRAIGHT SECKS IS NO WAY" deal, and the following brouhaha.
Granted, I'm not much a fan of the sudden waltz into the armory of the gods, the sudden babe-drop, or the hyperpowerful weaponry, but that actually can be worked around. I wasn't too deep into RP at the time, but if it wasn't done, a plot where somebody close to the heroes accidentally cuts themselves with Odinthrana could have been a great launching for a big plot. (Anything that would cure that would have to be heavily guarded/require bartering with the gods themselves.)
I found the huge jump cut in Black Resurrection to be a far worse case, wasting the dramatic potential we could have had in a one-post round of flying to the cave in exchange for "There it is, now kill it." So much foreshadowing and menace, lost... Shrinking Feeling has its own issues as well. And I would have nommed my PRP tourney if not for Black Resurrection standing out more in my mind at the time.

Lol, Black Resurrection's main block towards its objective is not, in any way, shape, or form, that dragon. Or even a dragon. I will state, for the record, that you will be terribly surprised and probably want to slap me into a coma when you find out whats really going on in that topic.

Hey, I like plot twists that do that sort of stuff (as you can tell from the revelation of WHAT George is piloting in GNR (Which, by the way, I'm about ten minutes from posting. Scout's Honor.))
Though I am mildly relieved to see the fight going beyond the dragon. I had been operating under the assumption that the dragon alone was our goal in the topic, which is clearly what it had initially appeared to be.

And I would have nommed my PRP tourney if not for Black Resurrection standing out more in my mind at the time. You mean the Beginner's Cup? But but! Anyway, to keep this from turning into an RP Discussion topic (although I do understand Prime's indignation), I request an acceptance speech from you. DL did one.

Beginner's Cup suffered the issue of losing a writer at every tier, which is the most meta-sucky of the RPs I considered. Basically, due to that, I had to write out DL, and then Kaz, and DJKates has been awfully quiet as of late...
As for lifetime achievement? I suppose that I should thank the people that voted for me. It's good to see that all my effort I've put into the site over the past seven or eight years is appreciated. Thank you all, and may you all have safe rides home. Remember to tip your waitresses, but only if they also happen to be cows.

I'm honored you guys voted for me! Thanks everyone! Now that I've won, I suppose I've done the best I can doing nothing, and promise to be more active!
AHA!
Yea, I totally just forgot the point of this post.

El, don't you remember the huge fight after Prime/Aurora alluded to sex in an RP, and Loogs got all in a tizzy, and then people were all like "But you implied just as much, plus booty grabbing!" and then things got ugly. I forget if you were banned at the time or not, and I forget which topic said arguments were all over in.
And Hatedaries, glad to see you back around. You're a breath of fresh air, in your own very interesting way. Congrats on your award!

He was most likely mis-singing the "Pol Pot" chorus at the end of 'Holiday in Cambodia' by Dead Kennedys. It's honestly a very common mistake.

Vaguely. Prime was telling me about it, but I missed most of the drama that happened.

Hmm... Blood was right. I did miss the awards ceremony. Oh well, I wasn't going to win anything anyway, so no big deal. But really belated congrats to all that won awards!
