So I got myself a Nook Touch and figured I should review it now that I've been using it for a week or so, and then make a clubhouse for for kids like me and 90 to have an elitist e-reader circle jerk.
Anyway, I pretty much love this little device. The e-ink display is as good as I expected, which is to say it's fantastic and I can read for hours on end without having to worry about charging. The interface is really great: mirrored buttons on the left and right side for flipping the page forward or back, or you can use swipes, or you can tap the left or right margin. Also, the device has a soft finish that is just lovely to hold. I recently found out that it fits in back pockets, which is super convenient.
Apparently the display is supposed to be snappier than the rest, but I mean it still has noticeable lag, which isn't too bad after you get used to it. Also had some crashing problems once or twice while pressing like all the buttons twenty times in one second (that's probably not what happened but it's close enough)
I'm not sure how good the store is yet, but it's had most titles that I've wanted to see except for one or two technical books. And it's not an issue since I can just load them in after downloading them to my computer.
So basically what I'm trying to say is that if you're considering an e-reader, look into this little device.

So I got myself a Nook Touch Wouldn't Nook Touch be something like "Butt Pick" in Troll? Jus' sayin'. Also, Ninety should totally put up the RP E-Books he formatted on some file-sharing site. That'd be awesome. Gasoline on the go, and whatnot.

Well I made them as .azw files so they're Kindle-native. I could make them into a .pdf or find what the nook reads and do that. It's not terribly difficult.

are you using calibre?
that thing is pro.
the nook supposedly reads PDF, but it hasn't been able to open one up without me processing it with calibre.
