Any other aspiring game designers/programmers/asset-makers out there that participate in these? I just finished my third one, and I should probably sleep, but here is our 2011 game, where I worked on audio and design and did a bit of debugging when we were down a programmer due to sleep or insanity or whatever. For anyone who doesn't know, the Global Game Jam is a thing where a bunch of people gather, form teams, and then make a game in 48 hours over a weekend. We're given a theme on friday afternoon then have to finish and submit to the main site by sunday afternoon. The theme for this year was "extinction" which was surprisingly hard to make a game for just because it's such a shitty, uninspiring word for games.

In case anyone hasn't checked out the game, here is a video to entice you.

So I was wondering, with things like Kick Starter and Steam's Green Light, have you ever thought about coming back to this game and doing anything with it?

NOPE
Well I guess we did go back and clean some stuff up and stuck it on Kongregate where it got something like a thousand plays. I do not have the link on hand, though.
