A black sky, speckled with an infinite sea of stars. The black cosmos embraces the world, every world, every star. Though we try to beat it back with light and hope, the end will always approach. We will always be unable to stop the final light from burning out. But yet, from the moment of creation to the moment of absolute destruction, we may burn so brightly that all other things envy our temporary existance.
In this world, in our hearts, and in our souls. We burn with light, if only for those who seek to see it.
This night sky burned, with a streak of fire. Pulses of energy emerged from the fire as it streaked down, reaching across the entire world, but only for a certain kind of man to feel. An aura of unease took all those who looked upon it, before it finally disappeared from the sky.
No bright light to describe its impact, no shaken earth or explosion. Just, suddenly, it was no longer there. And a trail of smoke stretched through the heavens, tracing the path it'd taken before its disappearance.
* * *
A few days later, a different light streaked through the azure sky. Those who looked upon it smiled, for it burned a pleasing bright blue as it crossed the sky. For those who could see more than the material, it blazed like a bright star, almost blinding.
And for those who could see, its entry was also haphazard and dangerous, for it would soon hit the ground with deadly force. The thing called out in a strange mind voice, beseaching the world to catch it before its destruction.

Whoever choses to catch this thing is in for a surprise, I'm sure this style has been used before, but never on the Exodus, so it should be interesting. For the information of whomever catches this, its an orb that takes up the size of your hand, with a quicksilvery blue substance at the center.
