Oh, I thought it was either Biscuit or Photu self trolling, but the evidence just doesn't add up.
So, now, I must begin looking through the British kids with an eye of suspicion!

Thanks Youtube for cropping out a bit of the D at the end of the movie. And, on the other edge, taking out a bit of the symbolic cloud formation.

I am curious, what's the music you used from? It's REALLY good for this particular scene.
... Also nice to see I'm not the ONLY one crazy enough to waste so much time on animations. XD

"Sound of the Town" from the xxxHolic soundtrack. (I added the background traffic sounds.) It's in the description on the actual YouTube page, which is where I'll always credit the music.
You know. If I do any more of these.

Oh hey, that's like one of the best things ever. CLAMP is amazing, and they make some of the only anime/manga I like anymore because a great portion of anime is supersucktacular these days. Have you ever read Tokyo Babylon, by any chance?

I will probably make more animations for Colin's updates, though they won't be that frequent. because they take up wayyyyyy too much time.
Also, how did you make the animation and make it so sharp?

I just slapped together the eight images on iMovie and tossed the music in there. It was an incredibly crude process and maybe I'll figure out ways to improve it.
EDIT: Not familiar with Tokyo Babylon. I actually only watched like one episode of xxxHolic, but I frigging loved the soundtrack so I downloaded it illicitly. My sister has some of the actual manga version though. She went through a heavy manga phase and CLAMP was obviously front and center.

She went through a heavy manga phase and CLAMP was obviously front and center. As is the case with many female manga enthusiasts. I believe a good portion of them were introduced to the world of Japanese animation through Cardcaptor Sakura. (This includes me. I actually still have my little Clow book with all the Clow cards.) Definitely check out Tokyo Babylon. It was one of CLAMP's first series, and it's non-girly enough for you to maybe take an interest to it. I really like some of the stories in it, and I fell in love with Subaru the minute I was introduced. I think you'd also like Hokuto, his twin sister. Lee approves too, so you have recommendations from two Exodites. I mean, shit, how could you possibly go wrong with a face like that?

I actually kind of like the poor cropping of the word there. It kind of works.
Also if you're looking to buff up your font library so you can even more closely match Homestuck's style, check out the pixel fonts on dafont.com.

I honestly was not suspecting googling most chumhandles to yield results, but whaddya know. On a different note, I touched up the illustration of Reba to make her a bit more functional. And maybe usable if I ever do illustrations, though that's unlikely. Anybody think they have the requisite skills to give her a feather boa? I can't do one that doesn't look like crap.

Other, slightly less focused question: Would you guys be game for me using some codes to change the topic names into the respective Chumhandle colors of the various characters? I could do that, if we'd like to have that done.

As long as you can do more specific colors than the verbal ones Proboards provides. Which I bet you can because I remember you thought you could only use the verbal ones for people's screen names but it turned out you can use hex code for that.

So, is anybody up for doing a convo with me In-Character on either FB or MSN? I'll format it into pesterchum in exchange for somebody being willing to get my first Pesterchum-nouveau going. (I had a few, but my old comp died with them. Now, slightly less crappy computer is my rig, but I've none of the files.)
