Raine leaned back in the cheap swivel chair with a carefree sigh, slender arms behind his head with his hands laced together. His shaggy auburn hair fell dashingly in his eyes, hiding the eerie cat-like appearance of them. The tawny gold color of them seemed almost fluorescent in the dim lighting of the office-like room, even though his pupils were larger than the irises in the dark. A lackadaisical smirk danced across his thin lips, interrupted by one sharp and pointed, pearly white tooth.
It would be wrong to call it a canine, just as he couldn't at all be justifiably labeled human. Or even mostly human. His dauntlessly black outfit seemed made just for him, with a casual button-down dress shirt and well fitting pants traveled down to meet midnight-black boots. He yawned silently, both fangs gleaming in the nonexistent light this time.
"Yare Yare, Neko." he said in charming Japanese; those words made up half of his vocabulary in that language, but it flowed nicely, and he loved the sound of it.
He removed his arms from their positions and lifted an open can of tuna off of an ordinary, outdated mahogany desk. Almost immediately a young tomcat, almost steel-blue in color with lime green eyes, pawed its way out of the darkness. It remained quiet; it knew the young man (at least a young man by appearance) would feed him; the shaggy but short-haired man never ate any of the food anyways.
"Here, Neko-domo, all yours, mate." Raine announced to the leaky blackness of the room as well as the slender and small cat.
He petted the young tomcat behind its ears gently, while placing the can of juice-soaked tuna on the hardwood floor with a soft thunk.
"Sad thing that we're cooped up in here...." he sighed, taking to his feet in casual loftiness. "But they, whoever the hell that wonderful pronoun may belong to, know their vampires."
He refereed, of course, to the specially-made tranquilizers positioned outside the door, along with the alarms that took approximately (by Raine's calculations) .024 milliseconds to activate. Naturally they activated a ingeniously crafted floodgate overhead that released the wrath of a waterfall on the unlucky escapee.
The pounding, running water would likely incapacitate the vampire before he could dart past the waterfall's wrath; but if he evaded that, a glorious room lighted with artificial sunlight awaited (this, Raine wasn't aware of, seeing as he'd only tried to escape once, and that escape was merely him trying to check out the place he'd awoken in).
"This is what I get for booking transport by ship that is owned by an enormously suspicious company, ne ne Neko-domo?" he inquired of the cat. It purred from its spot in front of the serrated tin can, clearly occupied.
Raine Alucard perched cheerily on the desk, whistling as he plucked a jet black cowboy hat from the dark brown surface and plunked it on his head.
[OOC:::: I'll post a bio tomorrow ^_^; I realized I have a Geometry test over properties I haven't studied tomorrow. Yipee...?
