Area 3 had a petite, palid young lady standing vigilantly over a set of chimes. She soothingly spoke once both trainers had stepped into place. "Good day to both of you. I'll Shawna, and I'll be refereeing your match. The rules, as you may have heard before the tournament began, are fourfold; no switching away from the Pokemon you entered, no using anything other than the entered Pokemon..." She fidgeted slightly. "Of course, on the less obvious front, one can not delay the battle by refusing to give their Pokemon an order, and one can not interfere with another trainer's battle. The moment that these chimes ring, the match begins." She knelt down and scooped up the brassy chimes, moving like a ghost across the rocky ground. Noiselessly, she stepped back to the edge of the chalk outline. "You may begin." Jing-a-ling, went the chimes. Onomotopoeia for chimes is murder.

Alexxia stood at her end of the field, Sableye standing strong next to her. She was confident that the gremlin was up to the task of battling. Together they'd been practicing more and more moves in different ways than the norm, with the hopes of catching opponents off guard. Hopefully, this would show and lead them to victory.
"Let's start out defensively, Sableye," Alexxia instructed as Sableye ran forwards. "Double Team."
Sableye nodded and concentrated briefly. The purple pokemon faded from sight for a moment, before reappearing with at least a dozen other Sableye, indistinguishable from the original. Alexxia smiled. That'd do, for starters.

Things didn’t look good from the start. Krieg entered the trainer’s box, his hands in his pockets, and that was it. A good six minutes went by before one of the officials approached him and told him he needed release his pokemon. “Oh but I thought there would be some kind of announcement…” Krieg said as he fumbled with his trainer’s belt, trying to unfasten the pokeball. The official frowned at him, “They said, “now begin”…” “Well, yeah…” Krieg managed to free his pokeball only to clumsily drop it to the ground. In a most unceremonious fashion, the ball opened, releasing a small dinosaur like pokemon. It bared its teeth and reared up menacingly before realizing it was facing his master and the game official. The bulbasuar looked around confused before noticing the sableye. Quickly turning to face his opponent, the pokemon repeated the teeth bearing and this time let out a loud ‘Buba-Saur!’ The game official looked at Krieg, the bulbasuar (and its entire display), then back at Krieg, “Riiight… Good luck.” Krieg scratched at the back of his head nervously and turned toward his opponent. Wow… I’m off to just a great start. I don’t think any amount of simulations can compare someone for the real thing…Alexxia called out her first attack, Krieg took a deep breath and called out his first order, “Alright Ham! Bulletseed those copies till you find the real one, but don’t get to close.” “Buba!” Ham the bulbasuar took in a deep breath before pursing his lips and turning himself into a gatling-gun of seeds. ~*~*~*~*~ Shaymin was perched on the top most part of Krieg’s seat up in the bleachers. It peered down at him and his opponent. The first step of ones journey, is always the hardest. Why is it always you vs me, but never rick vs yoshi

"Interrupt the attack, Sableye! Use Shadow Sneak!" Alexxia ordered quickly, watching the first few clones disappear. The multiple Sableyes all acted at once, in a perfect simultaneous movement. Each and every one plunged their purple claws into the ground, through their shadow. Out of Bulbasaur's shadow, a single claw shot up in a power packed uppercut. OOC-blah, short but i couldnt think of what else to put

The strike knocked Ham into the air, the poor pokemon spun vertically as it soared upwards.
“Bulbs!!!” it flailed about.
Think, think, think. I need something to cushion his fall… Ah-ha!
“Ham!” Krieg shouted, “Start gathering sunlight!”
“Buuuu Baaaa Saaaauuurrrr!” it called back as it twirled.
Sunlight began collecting in the bulb the pokemon earned it’s name from.

"Interrupt it, Sableye! Use rapid fire Shadow Ball!"
The Sableye clones flickered out of existence, one by one, until only the real one remained. The gremlin clapped his hands together, both glowing and pulsating a dark purple light. He clenched his hands into fists and jumped into the air. From both fists, a series of smaller, weaker Shadow Balls exploded out like firecrackers, spraying the ghostly force everywhere as he tried to disrupt the incoming Solar Beam.

“Ham!” Krieg shouted as a multitude of shadow balls filled the sky, “Forget about the attack, use the solar beam to propel yourself upwards!”
Ham nodded, “Buba – Saur!”
The grass type pokemon was propelled higher into the air, above the shadow balls. Of course this didn’t stop a few of the dark attacks from striking the column of light. There was a few small explosions, each raining down shadow and light energy.
‘Hopefully,’ Krieg thought to himself, ‘That sneasel will get caught up in the cascade of falling energy.’ Hopefully the distraction would give him enough time to figure away for his pokemon to land safely.

I realise this is my final day of posting so I'll put this here and if I get disqualified, then I don't mind because it was my own fault. "Whoa..." Alexxia gasped, watching the clever use of a Solar Beam to get Bulbasaur into the air. However, this presented Sableye with another problem. That blast was overflowing on to the arena, and Sableye was at risk of getting caught up in it. "Faint Attack, Sableye, follow Bulbasaur into the air!" Sableye nodded and prepared his attack but before he could vanish completely, a loose explosion from the collision of attacks blasted him backwards. The gremlin pokemon rolled backwards, the momentum of the blast forcing him to lose concentration and strength as he tried to right himself. "Sableye! Use the roll! Faint Attack and hit Bulbasaur!" Sableye would have acknowledged his trainer if there had been any way he could. He gathered up his strength, a black glow covering him as he faded out of sight. In the air, he reappeared. Still glowing. Still rolling. With the momentum he still had, he was like a dark-typed cannon ball, headed right for his target.

OOC: El, do you wanna call time on this? It'd be a shame to end one of the better matches that way, but it's your call. Otherwise, I think we could drag BB back in for a conclusion.
