Prime fired up the forge. Eragon was with him as well, and he said he'd called a man named Primus. Who should be along shortly now. Prime didn't really care, he was happy to be back in the mountains, in his old family forge. The guyver suit was really a bugger to work with, it blades extending from his elbows, and completely useless for Prime's upfront style of combat. He needed a sword, and a sword he would soon have. He'd left his friends a note, Ender, Zebedee, Yoshimitsu, Vincent, Valon, Nat, and everyone else he could think of. They knew where he was if he was needed, so he felt comftorble in the mineral rich caverns that made up the forge.
He walked over and handed Eragon a pick. "Here, lets go." He said. "Where are we going?" Ender asked curiously. Prime laughed, the sound echoing through the caves. "This systems of caves is mineral rich, we're going mining obviously. And the central chamber holds some very unique curiosities. Your job." He said, as they rounded the corner to the central chamber. "Is to dig out an enterance." Prime finished, grinning. Eragon groaned, their had been a cave in. Huge boulders covered the enterance, not a small one in sight. He'd have to hack through all of them to get to the other side. Eragon looked back up and Prime, "And you?" He asked.
"I'm going to mine some ore, I've got something specific in mind. You?" He asked. "No, I just want an upgrade to this short sword of mine. I'm sure I'll think of something more specific later." He answered, turning back to the huge obsticle in front of him. Prime nodded and walked off, leaving Eragon alone in the dim light. He head the sound of pick hitting stone echoing hollowly in the distance as he walked further into the tunnels.
Eventually he found the vein he was looking for. Something that wasn't technically suppost to be on earth. It looked like gold, but Prime knew it to be Neutronium. His family had never mined it for two reasons. First, their soul sword were made from mithril, always. And second, none of them had ever possessed the physical strength to part the neutronic stone from the wall. Prime knew he'd far exeeded that strength however. He hadn't even brought a pick axe with him. He took upon himself his Guyver aspect, and tore a huge chunk of it out of the wall. He carried it through the caverns into the smithy, and dumped it into a heated vat.
He returned to his human form. "God damn, that thing was heavy." He said, sighing and smacking his arms, trying to get back some feeling in them. He walked back into the tunnels, and retraced his steps back to Eragon, who seemed to have become impatient during the dig. In front of Prime, their was a large circular hole, its edges covered in frost. He cocked an eyebrow. "Wonder how he did that." He said, walking through into the chamber. Prime took a deep breath, and stared in wonder at the items around him. A huge dome, filled with orbs. Every orb glowed a different color, or rotated through a spectrum of them. Each of them held a different effect, a different enchantment.
He released his breath. "Ah, this is just what I need. ERAGON! Where are you!" He yelled. "Over here!" Came Eragon's faint voice, he came stumbling back towards Prime with an armful of orbs. Prime couldn't help it, he started laughing. The sight was absurd, the man was nearing stumbling under their weight. He made his way over to Eragon, and took some of the orbs from his arms. "Ah, thank you. I didn't want to forget where they were, so I ended up taking a few to man I guess!" He said. Prime chuckled. "Yeah, I'd say so. But you could've just written their names down." He said, piling them into a stack on a nearby table. "Watch." He said, turning towards the a section of the domed room. "Fire, Eternal Fire's Orb!" He exclaimed. An orb was lifted off the shelves, and shot down directly into his hand.
"See?" Prime asked. Eragon blushed. "Well shit..." He said meekly. Prime laughed. "So I guess you've got a whole stack of shit you'd like to add to that short sword of yours." Eragon nodded. Prime nodded. "Alright, well its actually rather easy for an already completed weapon. See, watch. You'll probably laugh at this." Prime said. He walked over to a giant ring, suspended far from the ceiling. He used wire to fix Eragon's short sword to the center of the ring. He walked back to the stack, and picked up one of the orbs. "Hmmmmm" He pondered. "This is a change spell. Probably allow you to change the side of your sword at will." Eragon grinned. "Yeah, I liked that one." Prime nodded. He picked up a silver dagger from one of the tabled, and placed the orb on the table. He gave it a healthy smack with the blunt back of the blade. The orb cracked a bit, light escaping from the crack.
Prime walked over to the short sword with the orb, held it over top of the sword, and pulled away the two halves of the orb. The magic dropped down to the sword like egg yolk, and it glowed green momentarily. He turned back to Eragon. "Like that." Eragon shook his head helplessly. Prime grinned. "Right, I'm heading back to the forge." He said, and started walking out of the domed room. "Earth, Immortal Hammer!" He yelled, a brown orb flew down from the shelves and into his pocket. He walked calmly back through the frozen blue tunnel, leaving Eragon to play with the orbs.
Back at the forge, he found that the stone had melted, leaving the much heavier nutrainium at the bottom of the vat. He poured out the useless stone, and then filtered out the neutrainium, he lyed it on the table. Pulling out a long, wide mold of clay, he packed all the neutrainium into it, then put it in the kelm. He chucked the Eternal Flame orb in, then jumped out of the way. A tongue of flame burst out of th kelm, licking the walls and sinjing Prime's hair. Getting up, he pulled one of the hammers off the wall, and smashed th Immortal Hammer orb against it. It glowed blood-red, then faded away.
He smashed the hammer against the wall experamentally, but it didn't even etch the hammers reflective finished. Satisfied, he waited for the neutrainium to heat up to a reasonable temperature.

Primus was a little confused. Eragon had called him, told him he wanted him to meet a man named Prime. But this Prime sounded like the person from his past life. It didn't add up, he was suppost to be a far away star in the sky, literally. He shrugged mentally as he stepped into the dark, moist depths of the caves he'd been intructed to enter. "Hello!?" He called loudly, not remembering the directions he'd been given. "Hey Primus!" Eragon called. He ran out of the main chaimber and to the enterance of the caverns. "How've you been?" Eragon asked. "A little confused." Primus admitted. "The person you described sounds a great deal like the man I used to be." Eragon scowled, he kept trying to make Primus forget that. It didn't help him, just made life a cold and empty thing.
"Alright." Eragon said finally. "Why don't we go and meet him, and then you'll understand ok?" He said. Primus nodded. "I have heard your words you know." He said kindly. "I just don't think that part of my life is over." Eragon nodded, he understood what the loss felt like. But bit back his tongue though, he didn't want to cause Primus any more pain.

Prime got up, and used the tongs to pull the now red hot neutrainium out of the kelm. He dumped the bar out of the mold, and took up the hammer. He smacked it several times, to make sure it was flat and even, then turned around and put it on the anvil. He whacked it several times with the hammer, the moved it half off the anvil and smacked it down its entire length, so it was bent in half lengthwise.
Flipping it over, he smacked the two folds of metal together, blending them into one piece of material. Increasing the density of the weapon slowly being formed benieth his hammer and tongs. He repeated the process, the weapon traversing the space between the kelm and the anvil many times. He hammered out its length, which ended at a total of 20 feet. It was far to thick for a blade now, so he started hammering out its width. Still remembering to fold it every time it left the kelm. It ended up about 5 feet in width, nearly up to Prime's chin. He carefully suspended it in a underground spring, and sat down again.

Primus and Eragon walked down the tunnel together, Primus becoming more and more apprehensive. He could hear it in the distance.
TING TING TING
The hollow echoes of a forge, the white staff in his hand hummed with the energy, as if it was returning home.
TING TING TING
Primus almost felt as though him very mind were the anvil. Hammered on endlessly, he could feel himself fading.
TING TING TING
An irresistable energy called him home. Something incredably he'd once had, that he'd long since lost. It filled him up, something he'd never felt since the beginning of his existance.
TING TING-
The hammering stopped, Primus felt himself returning to his own mind. He stumbled into the forge with Eragon, who was looking not a little bit concerned now. Prime got up, smiling, and walked over. "Hello Primus. Its nice to meet you." Prime said. He held out his hand to shake. Primus hesitated, then took his hand. "Yes, its good to meet you." He said shakily. He could tell, this was the man. This was who he was suppost to be. But he didn't know what he could do. "Do you mind if I look at your staff?" Prime asked. "It looks strangely familiar." Primus nodded, thinking it should look familiar to Prime, since he'd been the one who'd made it. He handed it over.
As soon as both Prime and Primus were touching the staff, the blue crown of the fire at the tope snaked down, and around both of their arms connecting the two. "What the hell!" Eragon yelled. He hacked at the strands connecting them. Prime was confused, but not afraid. Somehow, it felt right. He looked across at Primus, and something struck him powerfully. A sense of loss, a lack of belonging, understanding blossomed in him. He saw Primus' memories. Prime nodded, he stepped forwards and hugged the man in front of him.
In that instant, they became one.
Prime opened his eye's, his golden third eye was gone. The staff in his hand twisted, and reformed itself back into its 8 foot long katana shape, the many glyphs and sigals plainly visible. Primus was the half of his soul that was trapped in the sword. The human half that was left all alone, when Prime's greater spirit left the earth. Prime looked at the sword. "I'm sorry. I'll never leave you alone again."
Eragon looked on angrily, not understanding. Mourning the loss of a friend whom he surely thought to be dead. "YOU BASTARD!" He yelled at Prime. "YOU FUCKING BASTARD!" He struck at Prime, his sword, blazing with the power it'd recently attained, striking out. Prime's white blade came up and deflected the attack, a mournful tone rang out as the two blade connected. "Eragon, please be calm. Primus doesn't want to fight you." Eragon's eye's widened. "What?" He said, "But?" He looked at the sword in dazed confusion. A sense of recognition was seated just beyond his reach. Frustrated and sad, he simply turned around and walked away.
Prime sighed. "Recently, their have been more unexpected events than I care to handle, and this one is definatly my least favorite. Nothing can equal the pain of losing a friend."
He walked over and handed Eragon a pick. "Here, lets go." He said. "Where are we going?" Ender asked curiously. Prime laughed, the sound echoing through the caves.
