Isacc Willow leaned back in a comfortable computer chair, a stubby, well-used pencil hanging limply from between his lips. He stared up at the Pokemon Center's blank white ceiling with glazed eyes, thinking hard. To invest in a small electronical notepad would save room and money on all the paper and postage he had been using to send notes on Resley back to his father's office, but he wouldn't be able to explain this to his father. Isaac wasn't exactly sure of Professor Willow's money affairs, but with everybody around advising the boy to exchange the papers fluttering out of his crammed pack with a neat mini-computer, it seemed very appealing.
The Pachirisu that was the cause of the note-taking was curled up peacefully in the trainer's lap, its light gray sides rising and falling in a languid manner. Occasionally it's foot or long tail would give a twitch, earning the slumbering Pokemon a calm stroke from Isaac.
"Will you be remaining here tonight?"
The clean-dressed nurse's inquiry brought Isaac out of his reverie, and he smiled politely (charmingly to the young nurse).
"I imagine I will. We won't get far before evening anyways." he replied. And I have to find an electronics store, he thought to himself.
After easing the whitish-gray Pokemon out of his lap into its Pokeball, Isaac was safe to give a large yawn and stretch. He stood wearily, and wished he could hurry and get on the road. With the squirrel-Pokemon's unique, unknown identity, it attracted unwanted attention to the duo. Adjusting his jet-black cap on his head, and wiping a few locks of roguish golden hair out of his eyes, he made for the door. The nurse--Irene, Isaac remembered-- gave him the most peculiar smile as he waited for the mechanics of the door to whir it open. He smiled uneasily back and slipped past the door as soon as it slid open, and out into the dirt streets of Vermilion City.
He wandered around for the better part of an hour before ending up in a field, marked by a refurbished sign declaring it 'Route 11'. Signing in in minor annoyance he turned back with every intention of asking someone for the Mart's location. No doubt he had missed it--but a sudden hiss made him pause.
"Ekaaannsss!"
With that Isaac felt the a series of sharp pains in his mid-back, and stumbled around. His eyesight quickly blurred, and he felt weaker by the second. Poison?..Ekans's Poison Sting! he thought through the fog of his pain. The large purple snake was in front of him, fangs bared. As he struggled to grab Resley's Pokeball the Ekans charged, toppling him over. It wrapped tightly around him and tightened, causing Isaac to drop the half-drawn Pokeball. Losing consciousness, he begged for someone to see him. It was on the very edge of town, after all...

"Arbok, get the Ekans off him." Zee stated calmly and his massive purple pokemon creeped towards the prone trainer and the poison pokemon.
The large cobra pokemon wound his way over to the attacking Ekans and clamped its jaws around its pre-evolved forms head. With a powerful jerk, the snake was pulled away and tossed into the grass nearby. Arbok glared at the Ekans and frightened it into dashing off into the forest nearby. Arbok glided back to the fallen trainer and looked over at Zee for a command. Zee reached into his bag and pulled out a syringe. He strided over to the trainer and filled him over onto his back.
"Don't worry, you're in good hands. Just don't move." Zee stated to the wavering trainer as he inserted needle into a vein and injected the contense.
Zee picked the trainer up and carried him a nearby cluster of trees. The white and blue squirrel pokemon on Zees shoulder didn't seem to enjoy the company of a human of his trainer, but didn't protest. It had yet to regain the ability to speak its own name, let alone attack, so it just sat back and enjoyed the scenery. Zee nodded at Arbok to take the lead and enter the cluster first. Arbok nodded back and entered quickly. It reappeared a moment later and turned back in. Zee followed and was greeted by a fimilar sight.
There was a makeshift hammock hanging between two trees and a stump pilled high with different items of interest. There were books about pokemon, different types of research papers, a few pens, a lure ball, a pair of glasses, and a small carving of a Arbok made of wood. Zee placed the trainer in the hammock and knelt besides him as he was still wavering between consciousness and unconsciousness.
"You'll be safe here. I gave you a special type of antidote that I created for Ekans poison. You'll be fine in a while but just a bit tired. Rest up as long as you need and when you wake up we'll talk." Zee stated as he crossed over to the stump, put on his glasses, and began reading.

As the wavering line between consciousness finally became firm once more, Isaac opened his bleary eyes to see who had rescued him from his predicament. He discovered a trainer in a black and brown combination of shirts, reading a book peacefully, and then took in his surroundings. The peaceful area was loitered with things Isaac would expect of his own personal area, and his eyes alighted and trained on the research papers heaped up.
He rose into a weary sitting position and tried to regain his awareness, blinking furiously to clear his eyes. The hammock rocked slightly with his movement, but he balanced himself in a distracted way. He did this because his main interest had shifted from the research papers, (ones he would love nothing more than to read) to the pale gray and blue Pokemon resting upon the trainer's shoulder.
"I owe you thanks." he said in a hushed voice, trying to get the older boy's attention without interrupting him.
He reached down to hold the Pokeball containing Resley for reassurance, and his eyes grew wider as his hand closed on an empty belt loop. Forgetting not to interrupt the trainer, and not to make a childish fool of himself, he asked sharply and in a panicky way,
"Did you see the Pokeball I dropped?"

Zee turned towards and placed his book down of the stump. With a smooth motion he removed his glasses and rose to greet the boy. A calm look remained on his face, even though he was just sturred from a riviting description of mating rituals of Krabby and how they differ in different areas of the world. Zee didn't even seem to notice that Little One had jumped off his shoulder and onto the ground near the treeline. Little One knew not to go past the barrier but seemed to be drawn to the edge for some reason. Arbok rested on the other side of the hammock in a curled position. Zee seemed a little shocked that the trainers pokeball was gone, until Little One turned around and held up the shiny red and white orb.
"Ah, Little One seems to have found it. Let's hope that no damage has come to it. By the way, I'm Zander Dimir but you can just call me Zee. This is Arbok and this is Little One." Zee said as he referenced the two pokemon individually.
"May I ask your name?" Zee asked softly as he picked Little One up and took the pokeball it held, offering it back to the young trainer.

Breathing out heavily in relief, he gingerly excepted the Pokeball, then turned his attention to the man. He smiled in embarrassment that had caught up wit him from his ambush, and readjusted his cap on his messed hair as he said,
"My name's Isaac Willow, I don't have any nicknames though."
Once more his intrigued eyes alighted on the Pokemon nicknamed Little One, though they did offer the Arbok a kind dip of his head. The white and blue squirrel Pokemon appearently hadn't shared it's name (though Isaac was still trying to arrange the andom outbursts of 'Pachiii....risipii' into a name) with the man, and seemed to act like Resley did around anyone besides himself.
"Hello Little One, you know, there's a reason you seem fond of my Pokeball." he spoke in a calm, hushed voice, releasing the catch of Resley's Pokeball.
In a glow of white light a Pachirisu, tiny even for its species unknownst to Isaac, appeared in Isaac's arms. The pale gray Pokemon obviously had known that there had been trouble, and clung to its trainer in a child-like way.
"Ris...risu.." it murmured in a mixture of relief ind rebuttal, before catching the scent and sounds of Little One.
Its spiked blue ears swiveled and alighted on the fellow squirrel Pokemon, and Resley's head followed.
"Rii!" it chirped in surprsie, turning its body in Isaac's arms to face the other Pachirisu, but too uneasy about the accompanying Arbok or Zee to jump down to investigate the first of its kind he'd seen other than itself.
Isaac stroked the silky white-gray fur consolingly, before looking up with a researcher's curiousity at Zee, who appeared far more along in being a Professor than him.
"Where'd did you find Little One? I just hatched Resley at the Pokemon Center last night." he inquired, wishing for a pencil...pen...anything to take notes with.
He'd kept the egg shell for analyzation, but the fragments had to be mailed back to his father, due to the fack that the pieces had become extremely brittle and fragile.
